26. My Heart Thumped When I was with You

Janus sat down on the sofa, closing his eyes. Think hard to remember what he forgot last night. As long as he was drunk, alcohol had completely damaged his memory. For half an hour he sat on the couch with his eyes closed and forced his brain to remember what he had forgotten.

Extremely silent, only a faint sound from the clock ticking accompanied by the sound of water droplets from the tap in his kitchen sink. His eyes were closed, but he was not really fast asleep. He opened his eyes again, staring at the clock that had shown at 11 p.m. Janus got off the couch, went to the kitchen to get some warm tea. He thought that if he drank hot drinks, it might make his sleep better. Yes, even if only sleeping on the sofa without a void or blanket.

As he was about to grab some tea, he stared at the empty wine bottle near his trash. His forehead instantly flinched, some of the puzzles in his memory began to be arranged.

"I remember everything. Last night, Astrid and I didn't do anything" Janus murmured.

Janus hurriedly went towards his room. However, by the time she opened the door of her room, Astrid was already standing behind the door with both arms folded across her chest.

"I remember everything" said Janus.

"Oh, I also remember something. Then you explain what you remember" said Astrid staring intently at Janus.

"Yesterday after you were unconscious, I carried you to the room. After that, I slept in your bed. I just sleep doing nothing. You know that I sleep always without a boss. But, as I lay my eyes were still half open. I remember you who felt so hot, taking your clothes off. I'm convinced by my memory that I'm just sleeping and I'm not doing anything forbidden." Janus said.

"Oh yeah. Before I was unconscious, what did you do to me? astrid asked with a look of annoyed face.

Janus immediately swallowed his saliva, suddenly he was nervous and agitated by the question that Astrid was asking. He took a deep breath, then smiled as he looked at Astrid.

"I.tu I'm khilaf. You know that drunk people have a fucked up mind."

"Yes fucked up until you kissed my lips and neck. You know, when I was drunk, my energy suddenly went limp. And you're looking for opportunities when I'm powerless. You perverted man!!" astrid said while hitting Janus with all her might.

"I.yes sorry."

Astrid again closed the door to her room, leaving Janus standing at the door. Janus breathed. "I was wrong, but not really wrong. I was drunk" he grumbled.

Astrid opened her bedroom door with a pillow and blanket. He then turned towards Janus. "Now your pillow and blanket."

"It can be polite a little bit, anyway," said Janus annoyed.

"Yesterday you were not polite to me. Do perverts when I'm drunk."

"That's a natural thing. We are married, what needs to be a problem. Even if you report me to the police on the grounds that I kissed you, they won't respond.

"Are we really married and in love with each other?" ask Astrid.

"Hm, no."

Without saying Astrid again closed the door of her room with all her might. Janus was silent while biting his lower lip. He was ashamed of what he did last night. The shadow appeared, he remembered when he kissed Astrid yesterday. For some reason, his heart was pounding, he felt happy but also felt nervous when he remembered it. His face turned red as the shadow continued to cross his head.

"It's really crazy. Looks like I need a break," muttered Janus who was again laying down on the sofa.

When morning arrived as usual, before leaving school, Astrid first cleaned up the house and prepared breakfast for Janus.

"Again," greet him.

As if he did not feel guilty, Janus greeted Astrid with a smile on his face. Astrid did not reply to Janus' remarks, her expression seemed to frown. Even just to look at him was not done. He just focused on putting food on the table. This atmosphere made Janus feel awkward. Janus then sat down in the chair.

"How about today, I take you to school. If anyone asks, why did you come with me. I'll answer if we meet on the street" Janus said.

Astrid was still silent, when she finished serving the food. Astrid just took her bag.

"I'm leaving now" said Astrid stepping out of her apartment unit.

"Why not have breakfast?" shouted Janus.

Astrid left without replying to Janus. However, when he closed the door he suddenly fell silent while holding his left chest.

"Beating cold is the right way. How can my heart beat every time he sees it or remembers when he kisses me" Astrid murmured and breathed her long breath.

Astrid then continued her steps, going to the highway to wait for the arrival of the angkot. Ten minutes he was waiting for the angkot, suddenly Janus came approaching with his sports car. Janus then opened the windshield. "Let's go up, today I'll take you all the way to school."

Instantly a red hue on both of Astrid's cheeks appeared and her heart was pounding uncontrollably. Astrid was still silent in silence with eyes that only focused on looking at her husband's handsome face.

"Do you still not want to talk to me?" ask Janus.

Instantly Astrid swallowed her saliva, then she shifted her gaze.

"Why can he be that handsome. This must be something wrong with my vision," Astrid murmured inwardly.

Janus got out of his car, then immediately opened the car door for Astrid.

"Let's go up."

However, it was not Astrid who got into her car. Suddenly Titan came and immediately climbed into the sports car owned by Janus.

"Hey why do you just get into people's cars" said Janus who was upset at once.

"That's the same as the students themselves" said Titan smiling.

"I'm giving you a ride not just like you but Astrid."

Then from far away it looks like an angkot will pass. Astrid then waved her hand to stop the angkot.

"You go first with Titan" Astrid said as she waved her hand.

"Eh why is that. I'll take it you're not him" said Janus.

"It seems my vision is wrong. Just mending you with a Titan." Astrid was in a hurry to get into Angkot.

Janus was astonished by Astrid's words. "Something is wrong, I noticed his eyes looked fine" he murmured.

"Maybe he's flabby. Mending we leave now yuk, it's starting at noon today" said Titan while closing the car door.
