Forced to Marry a Teacher
103. Worrying

Janus returned home with a stifled face. Upset and angry, indeed in the taste of Janus at this time. Astrid leaves late at night unbeknownst to Janus, causing him to worry about dying. Moreover, Janus finds out that his wife is going to a nightclub. How not to worry, nightclubs are a very dangerous place for plain women like Astrid. There are a lot of drunk and naughty men there. What else did Astrid go at an hour that was almost midnight.

"Sister, I'm sorry" said Astrid following Janus into the room.

Janus ignored Astrid, pulling the blanket and laying on the bed. Janus closed his eyes without replying to his wife's apology.

Astrid felt guilty for leaving without asking Janus for permission. If Luna had not forbidden to tell Janus, Astrid might have asked her husband for permission first. Yes, although Janus must have accompanied Astrid if she gave her permission. At least, maybe Janus wouldn't be this angry to Astrid.

Astrid did not want to make Janus angry for too long against her, she again apologized to her husband. Astrid patted the sleeping Janus while looking back at him.

"Sister, sorry yes, don't get angry. It's not that I don't want to ask permission first. But sister Luna asked me not to tell you."

Janus opened his eyes, he turned to face Astrid lying down. "Why should you obey him. You are my wife, wherever you go, you must ask me for permission first. When you're not home, I'm so worried about dying. Moreover, you left at midnight. And I got a call that you went to the club."

"It's not that I don't want to ask permission, but you know that the last time we helped Luna was. You seem sorry to have helped him, it would not be better if I went straight to help him. Because if I ask permission first, you'll probably come with me. And in the end Bayu's brother will suspect you again, that you still like his wife," Astrid said with both eyes inundated.

Janus breathed. "There's nothing better if you go out in the middle of the night without me. I'd rather be suspicious of him than have to make you go alone to accompany Luna, what else to go to the nightclub," he said in an angry tone.

"It's not that I'm okay, I'm not even hurt in the slightest, why should you be so angry. You should be grateful that I came back safely."

"I'm so relieved and grateful that you're okay. But you should know, I'm mad so you don't repeat anything like that." Janus took his breath back. "I'm so worried about you, what else Wandi told me was that you were bullied by a drunk guy. Then when I found out that you were in the hospital, I thought you were hurt because of that guy. I was so afraid that you would get hurt, and at that moment I wasn't there to protect you."

Instantly the eyes that had been inundated could not be contained anymore. Astrid cried after hearing her husband's words. She felt so guilty that she worried her husband.

"I'm sorry, sorry to worry you."

Suddenly Janus was panicked when his wife cried while apologizing, he immediately clutched his wife's body tightly.

"I'm sorry, don't cry, if I cry I feel sad too."

"I'm sorry for making you angry and worried. I just want to help Luna without having to make Bayu angry at you" Astrid said as she cried a mouthful.

Feeling guilty, Astrid's cries grew louder. Janus, who was angry, felt guilty. Despite the panic, Janus also smiled slightly as the crying Astrid was already like a child. Astrid cried looking adorable, to make Janus to hold back laughter to see it. Janus' anger subsided a little thanks to the crying Astrid.

And it took only fifteen minutes for Janus to calm Astrid down, and his wife fell asleep in his arms. Likewise with Janus who also fell asleep.

...****************...

The next morning at breakfast, Astrid was not quoted at all. She was so embarrassed to remember last night when she cried like a child. Unfortunately, Astrid dared not look at Janus. He just focused on eating without talking.

Even when he went to work, Astrid did not want to talk at all. Not out of anger or annoyance, he just felt ashamed and felt guilty for what he did last night. Astrid's silence made Janus suspicious, that he thought Astrid was still upset with him.

Janus swallowed his saliva, then slightly glanced at Astrid. "You still angry?" Her question.

"Whatchu mean? Hm, how could I be angry," Astrid replied in a nervous tone.

"Why then just be quiet?" ask Janus again.

While biting her lower lip, Astrid replied. "I'm ashamed."

Janus smiled at once. "What makes you ashamed?"

"Did I cry too much last night?" Ask back Astrid while holding both of her cheeks that look red.

"No, you look adorable" replied Janus smiling as he imagined his wife crying last night.

"Curtainly" Astrid's tongue screeched. "Not to remember, forget about me crying."

"Why indeed? I love to see it."

Astrid shakes. "I doubt you're a normal person, seeing me cry like that, you like it. When I see it, my face looks ugly when I cry, so don't remember that last night."

While driving, Janus' left hand stroked Astrid's head. "I think you always look beautiful. Even if you are crying or smiling."

***

Fifteen minutes on the way, Astrid and Janus arrive at the restaurant. Janus and Astrid enter the restaurant, but the three workers are instead engrossed in staring at the mobile screen held by Tika.

Janus approached his three workers. "Well, see what? Have you guys finished cleaning up all the rooms?" Janus asked while staring at the phone screen of his cashier.

All three workers were shocked after hearing Janus' voice. Out of shock, Tika just put her phone into her pants pocket.

While Janus, after looking at the screen of Tika's phone, he was even surprised by the article at a glance in his reading. The article mentioned about the executive director of STAR.CORP who was caught on camera taking drugs.

"May I see that article," Janus asked Tika.

Tika took out her phone again, then opened the search engine. But when he re-opened the article, suddenly the article he read was lost in the search engine.

"Sorry sir, but the article is gone. I also went back and forth looking for the article, strangely the article even suddenly disappeared."
