Still in class, as noisy as a traditional market. Teenagers gather in small groups, talking, joking, and playing. Just filling the free time received from the teachers.
The reason is, the teachers are busy with various files that mount. Especially new students. The first day of school is always empty.
Same with class 9-A.
In the corner of the room, Rizki is immersed in a fantasy novel. Rizki hasn't moved from her place since thirty minutes ago. Enjoyed the reading too much.
On the other hand, Yogi is too. Not reading a novel. Yogi daydreams, noticing a girl.
The girl was wearing a blue, sea jacket. Long hair, covering the back. Skinned as bright as the sun. The girl's iris was brown, clear, reflecting a sunburner on her.
When the girl smiled, a warm feeling crept through the air, stroking her chest and leaving an inexplicable taste. The girl's name is Renata. The girl who stole his heart.
It's been over 30 minutes Yogi has been stalking the girl. However, it still lacked the courage to get close and start a conversation.
His heart was even racing, about to flee when he found the girl smiling. I don't know what would happen if he was within the reach of the girl. Maybe his heart would bang on his chest and leave him, literally. Therefore, he chose to observe from afar.
"You're making a stupid face again." Rizki's voice entered the senses of the listener.
Yogi turns away, facing Rizki who has closed the book.
"Have you finished reading?" ask Yogi.
"Well, I just finished it," Rizki replied as she stuffed the tome into the desk drawer.
"How long have you been reading that?"
"Four days," replied Rizki as she held her chin, "put that aside! You're going to get to him or are you going to let him?" rizki.
The attention of the two of them moved to the face of the class, staring at the same girl, Renata.
The girl did not move from the seat, still talking to my fellow girl. Armed with a magazine, they talked about something that didn't make it to the ears.
Yogi wanted to come closer and say hello, but he still thought that it was impossible.
"I think it's impossible" he answered while scratching his cheek and smiling wryly.
"Yogi," Rizki said his name, making his attention to the cold-faced man.
"What?"
"Do you really like it?"
"Yes, I like it" he replied.
"Why don't you go over there and start talking to him?"
"I .., dare not," Yogi turned, hiding his dimmed face.
"Then, are you going to let her be in love with someone else?"
"Eh?"
"If you keep going like this, he'll probably be in love with someone else. If he's in a relationship with a better person, than you, I don't protest. But what if he ends up in the hands of an asshole?"
"That ...," Yogi's head was further immersed in the shadow. His face was dim, even the light no longer hung in his eyes.
"You don't want that to happen to her, do you?" Yogi nodded slowly. "Therefore, you'd better approach him this time. Get to know his name and get to know the story" Rizki said, patting Yogi on the back.
Doubtful, but Yogi tried to raise his face. Renata is the one he's highlighting, again. His brain processes everything Rizki says.
He could not deny Rizki's words. If she did not make a move soon, Renata would probably soon be in a relationship with someone else. He can accept that, but he can't accept that if Renata pairs up with a jerk.
In less than a second, his eyes turned sharp.
"Rizki, would you like to accompany me?" Ask Yogi.
"Heh, of course. I will accompany you to the ends of the world" replied Rizki, raising her right hand.
Yogi smiles, grins, and welcomes Rizki's hand. Their hands clapped each other and their fists met.
"Then, come on!"
Without thinking any longer, the two got up, approaching the two girls in the front row.
Yogi's steps are getting stronger. However, it wasn't long. His spirit withered at every step. Smile disappeared. Cold sweat bathes the face. His heart was beating so fast that he could hear it.
"Don't worry! I'll start the conversation" a pat on his back. It was Rizki who walked ahead of him. For the most part, Yogi thinks that Rizki is his best friend.
"You're the best" Yogi murmured as he tailed.
"We'd better go to the cafeteria. I'm getting hungry" said one girl, taking Renata with me. When Yogi heard that, he thought that his chance had drifted. He had to wait for another chance.
"Ah, they're going to the cafeteria. We'd better wait for them to come back" Yogi said, turning around. But he did not have time to take a step.
Someone pulled his jacket, dragged him towards the two girls. When Yogi turns away, of course he finds Rizki pulling the collar of his jacket.
"This is an opportunity, don't waste it" Rizki said.
"Ugh ...." Yogi just scratches the cheek, can't resist.
"You're going to the cafeteria?" when the two of them reached Renata's bench, Yogi was pulled tighter to his feet like an army on the battlefield. However, Yogi still turned, unable to look at the two girls.
"Eh, huh?" said the short-haired girl.
"It just so happened that we were going to the cafeteria too. You guys want to go with us?" Yogi starts to get curious about the way Rizki keeps her cool. If he could do the same, maybe he had a good conversation with Renata.
"Em .., we don't want to disturb your affection" said the short-haired girl with a chuckle. Renata laughed at the simple joke.
"Haaa ..," Rizki sighed while massaging her forehead, while Yogi scratched his cheek, still lacking the courage to look at the two girls. "Can you forget that? We're just friends," Pinta Rizki.
"Yes, but it's still funny" Renata added.
"I'm Rizki by the way and this fool is Yogi. Greetings," said Rizki as she reached out.
"I'm Lia and this is Renata, greetings," Rizki and Lia shake hands with each other.
On the other hand, Yogi reached out, hesitating. However, Renata instead welcomed his hands quickly. The girl's grasp was quite hard and rough. However, it is also gentle at the same time. The scent of perfume pierced his nose, bringing his consciousness to the horizon.
"I'm Renata" said the girl.
"A-I'm a Yogi," replied Yogi.
"And I'm Lia" Lia said as she reached out to him. Reluctant to remove the tenderness, but it would be even stranger if he did not take off Renata's hand.
With a heavy heart, he welcomed Lia.
"I'm Yogi" said yes with a smile.
"I'm Renata."
"I'm Rizki."
"Alright, we go to the cafeteria and the men will pay," Lia turned around, dragging Renata, while Yogi and Rizki followed.
"I didn't expect that Renata had such tender hands," Rizki murmured.
"Oi," Yogi put on a cold face when he heard that.
"I was just praising. On the other hand, brother. Yuutha is better than Renata. Also, fight to get her heart. I'll support you" Rizki quickened the pace, leaving him a few steps behind.
"He's right, I have to keep going."
