Chapter 32 ~Parent~

“Father's height is higher than the mountain and mother's love is deeper than the ocean.”

- Unknown

Silent, the only sound that entered the ears was only the singing of night insects. Maybe they gather in one place and hold a music show. Every now and then a motor vehicle passed by, hitting a loud noise, but not making Renata distract.

The girl pecked. His back is against the wall. His mind was white, there was nothing left there. The girl's attention was on the ceiling, but she didn't look at anything. The girl daydreamed.

He never thought that Yogi had such a big hand. However, he thought that it was only natural because Yogi was a man.The man's hand wrapped around his ankle, gently bandaged and compressed with ice. It still felt warm, but also cold, on his ankle. He could still feel a soft taste in his ankle. He also still could not believe that the man would take care of him when his legs sprained.

It was never thought that the man's face would appear in his mind. In his mind, the man smiled, the heart was pumping blood faster, filling the face. His mind floated, but his body fell into the bed. He closes his eyes, trying to drive the Yogi out of his mind.

When the man disappears, from the mind. He felt that his life was a game. He was like a character in a story, running a cliche scene out of compulsion. It was like a story in a television series. A series he never wrote because it wasn't interesting.

“Haa ...” once again, he sighed.

If she thought about it again, Lia had time to take her for ice cream, with Yogi. Yogi should have been at the ice cream shop, with Lia. Maybe the guy was flooding his mouth with ice cream. Maybe he was spoiling Lia by feeding the girl, or stroking the little girl's hair. After all, the two of them looked like siblings.

Just like Lia, she also likes ice cream. When he got an offer to come along, he was about to answer and come along. However, Yogi interjected and said that his condition was not possible. Although he hated to admit it, but Yogi was right. He needed enough rest and self-healing.

“Rena.” He raised his face when a woman's voice reached the ears. His attention shifted to the entrance, the room, finding his father and mother there.

His father was still wearing a black suit, neat, while his mother was wearing casual clothes. Maybe they just arrived.

“Father Mother ...,” she calls them while trying to get up, “you came home early?”

“Well, we want to have dinner with you,” replied his mother, entering the room; his father followed.

“I really worked hard today. So, I guess I deserve some meat,” his dad added.

“Will I cook your favorite food,” replied his mother as she grabbed his father's cheek. When his parents' faces approached and exchanged saliva, he turned away. She was already quite mature and began to feel disturbed when her parents made out in front of her. However, he did not dare to throw them out.

“By the way why don't you drop off your friends?” ask Dad.

“Ah, that ..., my leg sprained. I couldn't walk properly for a while,” Renata replied as she pointed at one of the swollen legs.

When his parents' attention was fixed on his smudged ankle, his mother immediately jumped into the bed and threw the question, “Ah, are you okay?”

“Ya, Yogi has given first aid,” the answer is short.

“Yogi?” His mother tilted her face, a sign of confusion. However, he thought that it was only natural because his parents had never met Yogi.

“You mean that boy who looks plain and is big enough?” His father was also sitting on the edge of the bed.

“Yes, she took care of me.”

“Thank God that someone knows how to handle it. We have to thank him next time,” his father said.

“True. Maybe we can invite him to dinner,” added his mother.

“Wait! How do you know that Yogi is big?” It was quite strange when his father found out Yogi's physique, given that his parents had never met Yogi.

“Ah, true ...,” Renata shakes her head. He felt stupid when he forgot such a small thing. He should have realized when his father threw the question.

Slowly, his attention was on his mother who was watching his ankles. The woman smiled, looking so beautiful in her eyes. She was grateful that her mother's beauty was revealed to her. However, his mother's careless nature is also passed down to him, but he still gains the ingenuity of his father.

He felt lucky to have a good physique and an open mind and was able to digest things. But there is something he hates about himself.

“By the way about it,” Renata raise her voice, “can I be friends with them?” Renata raised her face, forcing her lips to smile.

“Eh?” Her mother tilted her face, “Why are you asking that? Of course you can. We do not forbid you to be friends with anyone,” replied his mother.

“Really?” Renata widens smile. He had thought that his parents would forbid him from making friends with the kalanga below, but that was only a concern. He doesn't have to think about it.

“By the way you want to eat tonight?” ask his mother, “I'll make everything you want.”

“I want to kare,” the answer is soft.

“Alright, Mom will cook it.”

“I'll help!” Father acknowledged.

“Oh, can! In that case, we should go down and start preparing the ingredients.” His mother got up, put her two hands on her waist. His father got up and took off his black suit, and hung it on his shoulder.

“Can carry me? I can't walk this time.” Renata raised her two hands, making a pose like a baby she wanted to carry.

“Oooh, of course. This little baby is required to get preferential treatment.” His father approached, giving him his back.

Slowly, he crawled, reaching for the wide back. Occasionally the pain shocked his ankle, but he endured the feeling. When he was behind his back, he wrapped his arms around his neck.

“Ready?”

“Ya.”

It did not take long, his father immediately raised his slender body. I don't know when was the last time she was carried, but she felt that it was long enough because she got a sense of calm familiarity.

“Oh, that reminds me when we were young,” Her mother spoke up. Maybe talk about old memories with his dad.

“Well, I used to carry you like this too, right?” reply Father.

“Maybe we need a vacation together,” said his mother.

“Yes, you can do it when there is free time,” the cetus for not wanting to be in the friendly space of his parents, “can we go down just? I'm getting hungry and bored here.”

“Ahahaha ..., well, our next stop is the kitchen,” his father said before he started.

“Depart!” renata said as he pointed his finger forward.
