Chapter 36 ~Hardwork~
“Work, Work, Realwork”
- Joko Widodo
Yogi never thought that his ability to digest academic information would increase. He was obviously happy with that fact. It became a booster, giving him the desire to learn more. He wanted to soon reach a level of intelligence equivalent to Rizki or Renata.
He meant it that way, but he was an advocate for the long time it would take. After all, Rizki always got a rank in the class, although never in class. However, that was enough to prove that Rizki's intelligence was on a different level to her.
For Renata, he did not understand the extent of the girl's intelligence. However, Renata can digest academic information easily, such as Rizki. That made him confident that Renata was at least at a level close to Rizki's.
On the other hand, there was himself who was at the intermediate level. Let alone rank three, he had never even felt that he was in the top ten. However, he was still lucky to still be above Lia.
The little girl was always careless and less clever. However, luck managed to bring Lia to the final class.
Yogis yawn, stretching back that feels stiff because they barely move a bit. After school, he took the time to study with his friends in class. They were expelled from the school security guard because they were at school until evening.
Actually, Yogi still wants to continue learning. However, Lia was unable to digest anything anymore. If the girl was a robot, maybe Lia was already overheating. The steam will billow from behind, black hair, causing Lia to short circuit.
Well, doing something too much is also not good. Therefore, they all parted ways and decided to study the group again tomorrow. Surely Lia agreed to it with a heavy heart.
“Haaa .., I should be able to get close to their level,” muttered as I stared at the ceiling.
His attention locked the asbestos that became the roof of the room. White lights illuminate every corner. However, when he turned out the window, he found endless darkness. The sky was drowning in black. Other than lights, there are no other light sources. He didn't even find a bat that filled the sky.
He wants to graduate with good grades. He wants to be in the same school as Renata, Rizki, and Lia. Therefore, he must give his best in every test, so as not to end up with regret.
The time in SMP is not long. The time is running out. In a few months, he will face a national exam, which will determine graduation. If he graduates with satisfactory grades, High School N 6 will open a hand for him. If not, then he should take the entrance exam. That means more time is wasted on learning. As much as possible, he wanted to avoid it.
“Alright, I'd better get back to doing some stuff. I need to review some things and I noted that I don't understand,” muttered while breaking my neck.
His field of vision moved, locking up the textbooks and notebooks that were in front. One of his hands flipped the textbook and searched for a random matter. When he found some problems that seemed to fit, the ballpoint pen was shuffled and the brain rotated.
Various formulas float in the mind. Numbers collide with other numbers in the mind, while the hands write down the workmanship system in the notebook. Within ten minutes, a single matter was worked out.
“Kak.” His attention moved to the entrance.
As usual, Dari was at the door. He warned the girl to knock on the door before entering the room. However, it seemed like the girl had never heard a single word of her. Somehow that girl wants to hear it.
Actually, he doesn't mind that. However, he remained worried if Tari entered in an unsupportive state. For example, when she changes clothes.
“Don't I tell you to knock on the door before you get in?” Yogi throws questions.
“Ah, true.” The girl closed the door from the outside, making her tilt her head.
Wh-tok! The sound of the door being knocked from outside.
“Log in!” answer it coldly.
When the door is opened from the outside, you can see Dance with a curved line on the lips. As usual, the girl was wearing shorts and a plain T-shirt.
Especially the two girls were very attached to him. Maybe he can't face everything that happens later.
“Why sigh?” instead of entering her room, Dari tilted her face at the door.
“Other times remember to knock on the door first!” answer after breathing.
“Oh, sure,” replied Tari while stepping in.
The girl approached the bed and slammed the body there. Not long after, Tari lay down, staring at the ceiling with round eyes.
“So, why are you here? I am learning,” Yogi said. However, Tari did not answer him. The girl stretched the muscles of the body like a cat. “Don't come here just to sleep!” continued.
“Ah, stingy once,” reply Dance.
“Go! I'm studying.” His hands waved, driving away the Dance who was still wrapped in a mattress.
“Hee ..., Jarag see Big Brother learn like this.” Yogi shifted his gaze, looking at Tari who was now face down.
“Because the national exam is only a few months away,” he replied while flipping the textbook.
“What is it so important?”
“Of course, right? Whether you graduate or not, then at which school you'll be accepted, the national exam scores will be the determinant of it all. Therefore, I don't want to get bad grades. At least I want to score above standard,” he explained.
There's no answer. Dance was silent, looking at her. Actually Yogi wondered why Tari asked that. Dari has passed the graduation period once, Dari should have understood the importance of national exam scores.
“Do you think it doesn't matter?” ask Yogi.
“Hmmm ..., not like that. There is no such thing as a national exam abroad. The students are passed just like that and they have to study to take the entrance exam. Is not our education system relying too much on exams? Try out, UTS, UAS, national exams, and not yet entrance exams. It was too much for me,” replied Tari while hugging a pillow.
Yogi did not think that his sister knew all that. However, he agreed with Dance's words.
“Maybe it's true, but we don't live there. I also believe that changing the curriculum will require a lot of time. Maybe it can only be applied when I pass SMA,” he explained while staring at the ceiling.
“....”
“From?” when he moved his attention, he found a sleeping Dance. “Haa ..” He sighed, got up from the chair, and enveloped his sister.
After doing so, he returned to the chair.
“Come, do some questions before going to bed,” murmured while starting work.
Yo, the author greets you here.
Today I put my pen, rest myself tired from activities, take the time to greet you who have accompanied me since Chapter 1.
I must admit that the development of BRIDE readers is very slow. But I still have no reason to stop writing. Therefore, I hope you will still accompany my trip until the BRIDE touches the last season.
I also want to remind you to like and leave your traces in the comment field. Well, I often see there are visitors who leave nothing here. So I always thought that they were not interested in this writing. However, if you leave some traces, then I can improve this writing for the better.
Therefore, do not forget to like and comment.
