Chapter 10 ~In Outside Plan~

If The Plan Doesn’t Work, Change The Plan! Not The Goal

- Unknown

Silent. The only ear-piercing sound was footsteps, echoing to the end of the passageway and back at them. Wherever the eyes looked, Yogi found no one. He felt it was natural that students were allowed to leave the school. When that happens, the first choice is to go home. That even goes for her, if she doesn't fall for Renata.

On the side, right, Yogi is Rizki. Rizki walked beside the wall. The man's two hands were crouching in his pants pocket and as usual, the man locked his mouth. With eyes half-opened, Rizki looks half-conscious.

Yogi stared at the floor. His mind was chaotic, unable to process sentences or words. As his body moved, towards the classroom, his mind only stayed in one place, still thinking of ways to melt the throat-choking atmosphere. How not? Since they left the library, no one has spoken.

Right next to Yogi is his idol, Renata. But the girl had the same fate. The girl's lips were petrified, not letting out the slightest sound. Renata's face was bowed, deep, looking like counting every tile passed.

Then who accompanied Renata was Lia. Since leaving the library, the girl had become calmer, barely even making the slightest sound. Yogi begins to think that Lia also has a quiet side. She also admits that Lia looks more beautiful when smiling like Renata.

"Hey." Yogi turned, looking at Rizki who patted him on the shoulder.

"Yes?" The two held their voices, about to discuss something.

"When we're in class, try to ask him a few things!" Rizki gave her advice.

"But what should I ask?" let alone asking something, Yogi can't even think clearly. What had been heard since then was just his own heartbeat.

"Anything that sounds common and normal. That's enough for now."

“But, will it be enough?”

“That's enough, considering that this is your first time,” replied Rizki.

"All right, I'll try." When Yogi says that, Rizki immediately pulls away and pats her back.

"What are you talking about?" Renata's voice pierced the ear, making Yogi and Rizki immediately turn away, staring at the same girl.

"Ah, no..—"

"This fool is just thinking of taking a walk on a Sunday. He invited me to join," Rizki interrupted, turning her attention in a different direction.

As Rizki turns the conversation in another direction, Yogi once again thinks that Rizki is great. He still feels lucky to have Rizki by his side.

"Heee, you're leaving on Sunday? Can we come with? I don't have any activities on Sunday, later," Lia broke through, entering the chat with questions like a train.

"Emm ..., actually we haven't decided where to go?" yogi replied, "so I thought to postpone it.” He thought about ending the conversation that deviated from the plan.

"Eh? What about the mall?" Renata immediately replied, quickly.

Renata's reaction, fast, even too fast. It makes Lia, Yogi, and Rizki silent for a moment, even everyone's steps stopped because of Renata. Renata became the center of attention in less than a second.

Renata's attention moved, staring at the petrified Yogi and Rizki.

"Ah, forget!" Renata turned away, hiding the faces of the men. Lia, who was at Renata's side, peered at Renata's face with her eyes wide open.

"No!" The yogi opens his mouth without realizing it, making everyone's attention move on him, including Renata with a blushing face. "Emm ...” Yogi turned, scratching his cheek. “I mean ..., the four of us can go there," Yogi continued. He did not expect that reason, Rizki, would turn into a meeting appointment. Even though it was a group meeting, he could at least spend some time staring at Renata. Therefore, he did not want to lose that opportunity.

"I'll come along. Maybe I'll take my brother. Yuutha," Rizki's in.

"Em ...” Rizki turns her attention away from Rizki, looking at Renata who is unable to show her face. “What about you, Renata?" Yogi throws a question at the girl while scratching her cheek.

"Hm ...." Renata nodded, went back to hiding his face and continued, "I ..., come along."

Spread a curved line on Yogi's lips. A bursting sensation within the chest, prompted Yogi to jump into space. Colorful flowers seemed to bloom in his sight. However, Yogi actually sighed, holding back so as not to jump around like a child.

"Rizki, Brother. Yuutha you call this, is she an alumnus?" Lia tilted her face, while raising her legs, walking ahead.

"Yes, he is what I mean" Rizki accompanied the girl. The two men are getting away. However, Renata and Yogi are still in the same place.

Renata still hides his face. It makes Yogi worried about the condition of his heart.

"You okay?" Yogi asked Renata who was still staring at the floor.

Renata nodded in return. Not long after, Renata sighed and straightened up. The girl puffed up her chest, turned to her, and showed a smile on her thin, thin lips.

When Yogi sees that, he thinks that Renata is a strong girl. No, Renata is definitely a strong girl who can face all obstacles.

"We'd better catch up with them before ..—"

"Rena! Yogis! Why are you still there?" Lia shouted, cutting off Renata's words. The girl waved at the two of them, while Rizki seemed to be scratching her head. Maybe Rizki feels that Lia can't be controlled.

"Before that happened?" yogi asked as he pointed at Lia and put on a wry smile.

"That's how it is" replied Renata.

For a few seconds, Yogi and Renata exchanged glances. Soon, however, laughter broke out between the two.

Yogi does not think that Lia can be the bridge that connects him with Renata. Although unintentional, but it had a big impact on him. Yogi did not even think that he could see Renata's laughter.

On Sunday, she started thinking about buying something for Lia. Surely Rizki, too. Without the reason Rizki gave, she would not laugh loosely with Renata. If Yogi recalls it, Rizki also gave him a lot of help, even before getting to know Renata. Maybe he can buy one book for Rizki.

“Hey, hurry up here! I want to go home soon,” Lia raise her voice once again.

“We'd better obey the girl,”

“Ya, before she screamed and broke the window glass,” Renata replied.

The two of them began to lift their legs, approaching Lia and Rizki who were already on the doorstep of the classroom.

“Wait! Did that ever happen?”

“No, but I'm pretty sure that he can do that.”

“It was pretty nasty, you know?”

“Ahahaha.” When Yogi sees the laughter, Yogi thinks of protecting Renata's smile, no matter what happens.
