Chapter 26 ~Istana~

“Home is a shelter, as well as a prison.”

- Mayn Urr Izqi

As the bell rang, Lia shook the entire class. The girl shouted while the situation was still quite conducive. The teacher has not even closed the lesson. Maybe a little lucky because Lia wasn't called into the counselling room. However, the incident will certainly be engraved in everyone's memory, of course, as the strangest memory.

After the incident, he, Rizki, Renata, and Lia also split the task. Teams are divided into two groups using a draw. Yogi is lucky to be with Renata. They would head straight to Renata's house, preparing various equipment to be used. Rizki called it a preparation team.

The other teams are Rizki and Lia. They were both in charge of buying materials that would be used for mading. It was actually quite unfair as it gave them the task of buying the ingredients. In addition to the hot weather, they have to go to the market. However, he and Renata gave more money as supplies to buy a drink.

Rizki let out a long sigh when she accepted the task. Maybe it really feels unfair. However, Rizki was the one who proposed the lottery. So, Rizki could not oppose her own decision.

Thanks to the absence of the two men, Yogi has a chance to get close to Renata. She felt that the goddess Fortuna was smiling at her. Therefore, he did not want to waste the opportunity.

To go to Renata's house, they need to use public transport. Renata lives in the middle of the city and does not yet have a SIM.

When he learns that Renata is in the middle of town, Yogi imagines that Renata's house will look bigger, many times larger than the house his parents contracted for. His little heart shrunk, but he did not want to give up his love just like that because of the difference in status. He would stand on equal footing with Renata in the future.

Yogi turned to Renata who was staring out the window. As usual, the girl showed her best side. A black sheet was blown into the air, waving at him as if to tell him to docked. However, he held back. He preferred to settle down, staring at the face of the princess who had stolen the limelight.

Like the Daisy flower of that girl. However, he knew that he had not been able to pick the flower. The flower can still bloom more beautifully. Therefore, he intended to look after Renata, waiting for the right time until he could pluck it.

“Do you have the habit of daydreaming?” Renata throws a question, drawing his consciousness that is almost immersed in affection. Maybe he should pray that his face doesn't fade.

“Ah, no! I just thought of something earlier,” she replied as she scratched her cheek and turned away from Renata.

“You also had a daydream earlier, are you in trouble?” Renata tilted her face, peeking at her who was staring the other way.

“Not really,”answere.

“You don't want to tell me?”

“That's not what I mean. I just ..., I was confused how to explain it,” Yogi sighed. As usual, he was guilty of lying to others. Also, somehow Renata feels so forced to tell a story.

“You don't want to tell me?”

“No! It's not like that. Emm .., actually Rizki has helped me overcome this,” he replied. He didn't lie about it.

“Ah, so Rizki helps you. I don't think I should worry about you. After everything, Rizki is reliable,” Renata smiles at him.

He could finally breathe a sigh of relief. If Renata keeps forcing her to open her mouth, maybe she will end up declaring her love. I don't know what kind of answer he got when it happened. Maybe he will be rejected and Renata shunned him.

“Ahaha ...,” she laughs while smiling wryly, “therefore don't worry!”

“Thank you.”

That ended the conversation. Yogi turned around, thinking about how Renata's house looked. Perhaps it would look majestic with three floors, having a garden with green grass. Maybe his parents also had a private car.

“We get to.” Yogi raised his face when Renata said that. The girl got out of her seat and out of the car.

After paying the freight rate, he began to take care of the surrounding situation. He really is in the middle of town. The highway is crowded with motor vehicles, passing non-stop with the sound of motors that turn each other.

In the sky, the sun provides a light that stings the surface of the skin. A little bit lucky because he's wearing a jacket, so his skin won't burn. But he was hot. He was about to immediately take refuge from the scorching sun.

“Come!” Renata turned around and approached one of the houses. Yogi's attention followed the girl's back.

The girl approached one of the gates. Yogi's eyes were wide open when he saw the height of the fence. Maybe it was three meters tall or more with a pointed tip. However, even more astonishing things were behind the bars.

A 2-story white palace with two pillars stood before the door. Ceramic floor that reflects sunlight and a garden that is based on green grass. If Lia was by his side, maybe the girl had already entered and was running around there. However, for Rizki, the man might not give any reaction, just locking his mouth while staring at the palace.

For him, his mind is white. He can't say anything. The house was twice as big as the one his parents contracted for. One day, they will move. You can go to a bigger house or a smaller one. However, he was not sure that he could occupy a larger house.

“Come, login!” the girl opened the lock that locked the fence. Not long after, Renata pushed the jagged door.

“You live alone?” Yogi throws questions.

Renata unlocks the key himself. If he stayed with someone else, someone should have opened the gate. But that didn't happen.

“No,” replied Renata, “I live with Dad and My Mom. However, they worked late into the night. Therefore I am often at home alone,” replied Renata.

“As it seems, it must be difficult.” The yogi got up, passed by the sculpting Renata, looking at him as if he could not believe what he was saying. “Renata?”

“Ah, sorry. I just, remember something. We'd better get in.” Renata walks ahead. The girl stared at the paving, leading the way over the paving.

“Why with the girl?” Yogi tilted his face, following Renata who no longer raised his face. He felt that he was saying something wrong, but he did not know where his mistake lay.

“Renata!” he called the girl's name. The girl's steps stopped. “It looks like I said something that offended you. I'm sorry,” he said.

“No.” Renata turned to him, “It's not like that. It's just, you kind of get to see what I feel and it's ..., and ..., that's the first time anyone's ever said that to me.” Renata turned away, hiding the head that was sunk in red.

“O-oh, so so.” Yogi turned away, feeling the blood filling his brain.

“We'd better get in,” Renata pointed at the entrance and back in the lead.

“Ah, true!” Yogi tailed, but came back again to close the door. After that, he had just followed Renata, entering the palace.
