Chapter 49. Glimmer of Hope

After ascertaining the truth about his sister-in-law and cousin sister of his wife, Ilham was determined to help Aldo find the whereabouts of Cika.

Ilham could not bear to see his sister who was so devastated after the death of his wife. Moreover, Mila was also very sad after knowing that the woman who became her sister-in-law was the woman she had been looking for all this time.

Aldo who was surprised to hear the name of his wife, immediately glanced at Mila and Ilham in turn.

"What's up with Cika, son? Do you know where your sister-in-law is?" continued Alvin who began to be curious about what his eldest son would say.

"No, Pa! But who is Cika really about?" an Inspiration that made everyone stare confusedly at him.

"You look at this picture!" say Ilham while putting some photos on the dining table.

For a moment the room felt so serenely gripping, not a single person made a sound after knowing the truth about Cika. It's a little hard to accept, but it's the truth.

"You don't despair, Aldo! Brother will help find Cika's whereabouts! If necessary, you will send some people to find Cika's whereabouts as soon as possible. Cika is not only important to you, but also important to your sister-in-law!" connect Ilham who is very confident to find Cika.

After dinner, they all returned to their rooms to rest.

A week later, exactly 3 months of pregnancy Cika

Cika was in a hospital to check her body.

"How about, Doctor Hana? Is my baby okay?" ask Cika who just finished doing the examination.

"Mother Cika's fetus is healthy, there's nothing to worry about! Cika's mother just needs to take good care of this fetus. Reduce heavy work, and not much thought!" said Doctor Hana gave an explanation to Cika.

"Thank you, Doc!" sahut Cika who is happy to see the development of the growing fetus in the womb.

At the same time, Ilham and his family were in the same hospital waiting for Mila to give birth.

They were all waiting in front of the delivery room waiting for Mila who was struggling to give birth to her first child.

From a distance, Sela was like seeing someone she knew so well out of the Obstetrician's room.

"Cika...??? That's right, it's Cika!" batin Sela ran after him to the hospital exit.

"Just...!" shouted Sela who did not reach Cika's ears at all.

After the consultation with Dr. Hana, Cika left the hospital and got into a car. Not long after the car disappeared from the hospital.

"Aishis... That woman really is, Cika! I know him so well, there's no way I've seen him wrong!" muttered Sela who was a little disappointed because she did not manage to stop her best friend.

Disappointed, Sela ran straight to the delivery room to meet her family.

"Tante, Aldo, Brother Ilham! Huh,, huh," Sela was almost out of breath, she had to run to the bottom to tell her family.

"Darling, what's wrong with you?" asked Ara who was surprised to see the look on her face that was like being chased by a ghost.

"A... L'm... Huft, though,"

"Why you?" aldo asked as he frowned.

"A... There's Ci... Cika, a.. I saw her just now!" Sela could not speak properly as she still felt a tightness in her chest.

"What's? Whereabouts? Where's cika?" aldo asked who felt like his heart had stopped beating so shocked.

"Honey, where'd you see Cika?" asked Ara while glaring sharply at Sela.

"He's gone, Tan! Sela had tried to chase after him, but Cika had already gone to ride a car" explained Sela who was still panting to catch her breath.

Without thinking, Aldo ran out of the hospital to confirm Sela's words. Aldo searched for Cika's whereabouts to and fro, but found no trace of Cika at all.

"Honey, where are you?" muttered Aldo who was sitting limp at the hospital gate.

Not long after, Aldo returned to meet his family with a lethargic and disappointed look.

"How, honey?" asked Ara while hugging her son who already looked limp.

Aldo did not answer his mother's question, he just shook his head while sitting languidly on the hospital floor.

"You must be strong, Aldo! If indeed what Sela saw was Cika, then we still have hope to find her!" ilham calmed his brother.

"Oh yes, Sela remember! Sela had accidentally seen Cika come out of the doctor's room" said Sela with great confidence.

"Is Cika sick?" ara asked worried about her daughter-in-law.

Hearing Sela's words, Aldo got back up from the floor with a slightly excited look.

"Which Doctor Room? I have to find out for myself!" said Aldo who felt he had a glimmer of hope to find out the whereabouts of his wife.

"It looks like the Obstetrician's room" said Sela a little hesitant.

"You're sure, why did Cika see an obstetrician?" aldo asked who was starting to get curious.

"It seems." said Sela who was actually not too sure of his words.

Aldo quickly pulled out Sela's hand and led her to the Doctor's room that Sela had just said.

"Which room?" aldo asked who was in front of the door.

"This.." said Sela, pointing to the door of a room.

Without waiting for a long time, Aldo immediately entered the room followed by Sela behind him.
