Chapter 21. Sad to be Left Cika

Suddenly Aldo wanted to know the love story of his father and mother when he was young. He excitedly asked all of that to his papa.

"We never even dated, papa only met his mother a few times. But because papa likes mama, papa immediately proposed to him." said Alvin who made Aldo think a little longer.

"Did you accept papa right away?" ask Aldo to know.

"No!" answer Alvin briefly.

"Why did you get married to papa?" ask Aldo again who is getting curious.

"It all takes a struggle, son, your mama used to have her life all short, she became the backbone of her family. It's not that easy that you can accept papa. Your mother did not want a handsome or rich man to accompany her, but she was looking for a man who could be responsible for her life as well as her family. And papa can prove it's all the same mama you." replied Alvin explained at length to his youngest son.

Aldo just nodded his head. He understood what his father meant.

Instantly Aldo recalled Cika's rejection while they were in the apartment. Aldo was a little hesitant about his decision to marry Cika. She was afraid that Cika would reject her back.

But on the other hand, Aldo also did not want to lose Cika. Aldo already loves Cika so much, he already feels so comfortable with Cika. He is determined to fight for his love, whatever happens he must be able to be like his papa who managed to fight for his love.

While in the kitchen, Cika, Sela, and Ara had already finished cooking for their dinner. Everything is on the table.

"Sela, call me Aldo!" said Ara to Sela.

"Yes Tan." replied Sela.

Sela stepped into the living room to call om and her cousin. After that Sela returned to the dining table followed by Alvin and Aldo behind her.

After all gathered, they immediately ate the dishes that were available on the dining table.

"Aldo! Do you know what happened at my mom's shop this afternoon?" ara opened the conversation.

"What's wrong, Ma? Mama's the same Cika's okay, right?" aldo asked a little worried.

"We're fine, baby, that's not what Mom meant. But mama almost lost her customer, fortunately there was Cika." replied Ara while looking at Cika.

Aldo was confused by what his mother said. So did Alvin and Sela who glanced at each other.

"Why is it Cika Ma?" added Alvin who was also confused by the words of his wife.

"It turns out that Cika has pent-up talent, Pa. She can make a very beautiful design in a short time." Ara said with a big smile in front of everyone.

"Then' Tan?" added Sela who was surprised to hear Ara's words.

"Yes dear, even the customer aunt immediately liked the design made by Cika" said Ara again flattering Cika.

All gazing towards Cika, Cika only replied with a smile.

He felt a little embarrassed because Ara praised him too much.

"Yes, I agree." Aldo replied with a smile towards Cika.

"Mama agrees too, would you love to?" ask Ara to Cika.

"No, don't think much! From tomorrow you work with your mama." insisted Aldo while blinking his eyes at Cika who made Cika become misbehaved.

Cika only nodded, she could not refuse Ara's request. Ara has been very kind to her.

Everyone smiled to see Cika who nodded her sign that she agreed.

"Tante, Om! Tonight Sela is the same Cika wants to go home to the apartment, tomorrow let Sela who drove Cika to the aunt boutique." said Sela who made a smile on Aldo's face disappear instantly.

Sela went awry looking at the sadness that was emanating on her tantic face. While Aldo just fell silent while finishing his food.

Dining Aldo asked permission to leave the table first. Aldo stepped leaving everyone at the dining table, and walked towards his room. She was saddened to hear Sela leaving her home with Cika.

"Darling, you're here! You guys don't feel sorry for aunt? Aldo will also be saddened by your departure." said Ara with teary eyes.

Sela was increasingly confused to see her aunt who almost shed tears. But he tried to persuade his aunt.

"Tan, don't be sad! Tomorrow we come again. Starting tomorrow Cika works at a aunt boutique. So we'll meet often." said Sela reassured her aunt.

"Yes, it's up to you then" said Ara.

After the meal, Ara stepped out of the table with Alvin. While Sela rushed to clean the table, and Cika washed the dishes in the kitchen.

After all the work in the kitchen was done, they went back up the stairs to the room to pick up their belongings.

"Cell, my clothes are still in Aldo's room" said Cika.

"Yes, you take it first! All the same with Aldo. Pity that he must be sad because we are going to go home to the apartment." said Sela.

Cika nodded her head, she stepped away from Sela and walked towards Aldo's room.

Geck..Geck..Tok(knock on door)

"Who?" ask Aldo from the room.

"Me, Cika!" answer Cika from behind the door.

Aldo walked towards the door and opened it for Cika.

"What's wrong?" aldo asked a little.

"I'm going to get some clothes" replied Cika a little nervously in front of Aldo.

"Yes, take it!" aldo replied as he stepped away from Cika and sat at the end of his bedroom bed.

Cika came in and rushed to get her clothes in Aldo's bathroom. After getting her clothes, Cika came out of the bathroom and stepped closer to Aldo.

"Aldo, I go home first." said Cika slightly shaking because she was still nervous.

"Yes, just go home!" aldo answered briefly without seeing Cika.

Cika who was confused by Aldo's attitude, then walked towards the door. However, as he was about to step out of the room, Aldo came to hug him from behind.

As soon as Cika's footsteps stopped, she just fell silent. Cika understood what Aldo was feeling right now. Cika turned her body, and hugged Aldo back.

"Why you?" cika asked looking at the handsome man's face.

"Don't go!" aldo said while holding back his tears.

"I'm not going Aldo. I just want to go back to Sela's apartment, not to Surabaya. Tomorrow we can meet again." said Cika reassured Aldo.

"But I want you to stay here with me!" aldo said as he tightened his embrace.

"But I can't linger here Aldo. I have to come home with Sela." said Cika who was increasingly confused by Aldo's behavior.

"Don't you love me?" ask Aldo.

"It's not a matter of love or not dear Aldo, please understand my position! I'm here a kara, Sela's the one who took me all this time. I can't possibly let her go home alone" Cika explained to Aldo.
