Bloody Heart

Bloody Heart
Chapter 39. H-1 Wedding

Sela went into the room after she finished watching her favorite movie. She trembled slightly when she heard the sound of crying from the balcony of her room. For a moment his mind was filled with creepy things that made his hair goosebumps.

However, after realizing that Cika was not in bed, Sela rushed to the balcony.

"Mika! You why?" Sela immediately hugged Cika who was already unable to control her cries.

"Sela,,,!" Cika returned Sela's embrace while crying sobbing.

"Why is my fate this bad, Sela? Why should I be born into this world if my own mother doesn't want me at all? Hiks,, hyiks, hiks," Cika cried so much, the sad feeling in her heart she could not bear anymore.

"Calm down, Cika! Don't be like this!" said Sela while rubbing Cika's back.

"What's my fault, Sela? Why does my mom hate me so much? Hix, hiks." Cika asked as if Sela knew the answer to that question.

"You shut up! Calm your heart first!" pinta Sela who is getting confused about what to do.

Sela tried to help calm Cika down. He also felt sad to see the condition of his best friend and prospective brother-in-law.

Sela brought Cika back into the room.

"Sit down! I'll get you some water to drink." said Sela and walked out of the room.

Sela walked to the kitchen and got a glass of water for Cika.

"Drink, Cika!" said Sela while giving a glass of water to Cika's hand. Cika who already felt a little calm, immediately drank the water given by Sela.

"Thank you, Sela!" said Cika who still occasionally sobbed.

Sela then sat on the bed right next to Cika. He hugged his friend from the side.

"What exactly are you? Why is it like that?" ask Sela who started to find out the cause of her crying Cika.

"I just called mom." said Cika as she rubbed her eyes violently.

"Then, what happened?" asked Sela who was increasingly curious about what her best friend experienced.

"I don't understand, Sela! A mother should be happy to hear about her daughter's marriage, but not my mother. He doesn't care about me at all. He even accused me of selling myself for this marriage" Cika said as she returned to shedding tears.

"Jeez, Cika! Why is it like that?" asked Sela who also did not understand the attitude of her mother Cika.

"I don't know either, Sela! I don't know who I really am?" reply Cika while squeezing her fingers.

"You're patient, Cika! We'll find out about all this after your wedding and Aldo's over! Don't think about this for now! You should focus on your wedding which is only a few days away!" said Sela who did not want Cika too much thought because her best friend's wedding day was getting closer.

Cika did not flinch at all. There was only such great disappointment enveloping the recesses of his heart. He had even resigned to the trials of his life that came in endless lengths.

Amidst the silence of the night that began to grieve, Cika could only lie lamenting her fate while staring at the photo of her beloved father until finally asleep.

All the wedding preparations had been completed as Ara wished. Starting from clothes, invitations, catering, decorations, letters, security and others, all are safely controlled without anything less.

All the families had gathered at Aldo's house. Even since the last two nights, Ilham and Mila have been staying there to help their parents. Only Sela could not stay because she had to accompany Cika in the apartment.

"Sela! How's Cika doing, baby?" asked Ara who had not met her son-in-law for a few days.

"All right, Tan! He just feels a little sad because no one will be with him on his happy day tomorrow." said Sela with a sad look on her face.

"Let your brother come with you!" said Mila who felt sorry for her sister-in-law's candidate.

"Mama agrees, you two will be with him tomorrow!" added Ara who appointed Mila and Sela as a companion to her new daughter-in-law.

It was getting late, Sela had to go home to the apartment immediately. He was still thinking about the incident a few nights ago, so that made him unable to leave Cika for long alone.

"Tan, I'll go home!" Sela said goodbye to her aunt and all the families in the house.

"Tomorrow, you wait for my brother in the apartment! Brother who's going to pick you both up!" said Mila who felt very happy because she would accompany the new bride.

"Yes, Brother! Thanks!" reply Sela and pass away leaving everyone.

Cika is really very lucky to get a man as good and handsome as Aldo. Moreover, the Aldo family are also very kind and loving people. They never distinguish and judge a person by his possessions and wealth.

Tonight is the last night Cika is in Sela's apartment. She felt sad that she had to leave Sela alone. That woman who was very good in her life.

"You why Cika? Tomorrow is the most historic day of your life. You must be happy!

You can't be sad like this anymore! Let the past pass, it is time to look to the future. You're a very lucky woman, you'll be Aldo's wife soon." Sela convinces Cika not to drag on in her grief, because the sadness that Cika endured all this time will turn into happiness.

"Thank you, Sela! I am sad to have to part with you and leave this apartment. You are an angel who has made my life change in a very short time. If only that time we did not meet, maybe I don't know what will happen with my life now" said Cika who returned to shed tears and embraced her best friend with full of haru.

"No need to think about that anymore! We will always meet, if necessary I will also stay there a few days to accompany you. What matters is that you can't be sad anymore! We all love you so much." said Sela who made Cika immediately let out her sweet smile.

"Thank you! I pray that you will quickly meet the soul mate God has prepared for you. I also want you to follow soon so that later our children can be the same age." said Cika who made Sela a little misbehaved.

"How could I possibly catch up with you any time soon? I'm still alone to this day. I don't know where my soul mate is either. Haha." Sela could only laugh at the words and prayers of her future sister-in-law.

"Nothing is impossible, Sela! Take me and Aldo for example. I still feel like I am dreaming to this day. Our approach period is quite short, but the soul mate brought us to this point" said Cika.

"Hehehehe, I hope that someday God will send a good man to me, just as God sent Aldo to you." Sela hopes to someday meet a man like her cousin.

"Amiein,,,!" cika Sahut.

The two of them finally smiled and hugged each other again. The burden on their hearts could at least be slightly reduced from being able to share with each other.
