ARINDA POV
I have been living in Jakarta for almost 2 weeks. But not a single job I got, even though I have spread my application for every company that suits what I want.
My days are up with just silence in the 3x3 room. Only occasionally I go out to do interviews or shopping for urgent needs.
In contrast to Sherina who does not even feel at home a day to stay. He spends more time doing activities outside, even if only for a walk.
Not infrequently he invited me to come along, but either because of tired or bored with my refusal he finally gave up. Herti who he just knew had accompanied him several times, even now they look very familiar.
The cradle of the bed to me is more attractive than the sun outside. After all I have prepared dozens of Korean Drama titles on my laptop to watch when I am confused what to do.
Almost every day Dean also visited here, and not infrequently he also brought me food. Ever since I was in Jakarta, Dean has looked more like a big brother to me. Not only was he chatty, but he was also very annoying in every way.
Today is Saturday, the atmosphere in this boarding house is more crowded than usual because some residents are on holiday. Some work until Friday, and some work until Saturday.
Even so, we are quite familiar with each other as residents of the same house. Luckily there were no annoying people here, all kind and friendly to each other.
Somehow I was so bored today, it came to my mind to go out. But as soon as I saw the sun outside, my spirit shriveled back. Sherina's been gone since 9am, today she went with Herti to Andi's place.
After that they plan to go to lunch together and then go to the cinema. They had invited me many times since morning but I vehemently refused their invitation and insisted on staying.
But look, not until 2 pm I'm already feeling very bored. Suddenly, I had the urge to go to my favorite meatballs that I used to go to every week when I was working.
The location is in an alley that only fit for 1 car road only, but the crowds are incredible. People are willing to park their cars far enough and walk to get there.
And not infrequently we have to be queued once just to be able to enjoy it. I rushed to get ready and change my clothes. Wearing a white short shirt and gray toad pants and white sneakers I set off.
I only wear a small sling bag that is enough to insert a wallet and mobile phone there. Not until 5 minutes on-line ojek my order arrived and we immediately went to the destination.
From my new boarding house, I had to travel about 45 minutes to get there. A little hot on the road did not dampen my desire for lunch there.
And exactly as I thought, once the atmosphere there already seemed empty.some people seemed to walk out of the store because they had finished their lunch.
"Bak meatballs 1 pake topping full tetelan the same bone rangu yes, drink orange juice" I said so sitting on one of the benches that were still empty.
Here there is a bench set table, and there is also a lesehan. Normally, if I came with Herti and Andi we would choose to be in the lesehan area. But since this time I only came alone then I chose to be on the bench set table.
The atmosphere of the store was again crowded with the arrival of several groups of arisan mothers who were seen filling every empty table on my left right. I also choose to ignore the surrounding conditions and focus on the bowl of meatballs that have been served on the table.
As usual, I will add 3 spoons of sambal, vinegar and soy sauce as a complement. It's been a long time since I've been able to enjoy one of my favorite foods. But while I was eating, a girl came and asked permission to join.
I couldn't resist either, because all the tables were full, and I was the only one sitting there. His age may be about the same as Dean's or a slight difference. She looked a friendly girl with a sweet smile.
"Sir, I'm sorry to sit here?" tanyakanya.
"May, please." I replied.
"Well, look at his mom already eating makes me drool even more" he said, calling a man in charge of recording orders for customers there.
I just smiled like I didn't respond so much because I felt a little awkward. Because I'm not used to talking to strangers, even so I try to stay polite.
"Super meatball pesen 2 servings yes, same sweet iced tea 1 orange juice 1" said the girl made me a little surprised because she only came alone.
"Oh well mbak, wait a minute" replied the man while noting his order.
"Oh yes ask for a full toping kayak mbak his kayak gini ya." he said again while pointing towards the bowl in front of me.
"Sir, I came both here is okay. The person again parked the car first in front because it does not fit parking here." said his answer my curiosity without the need I ask.
"Oh, that's okay, I'm done in a minute" I replied.
Not long after that came the voice of a man who was very familiar to me taking a position sitting next to the girl and right facing me.
"Have you already agreed?" it sounds so familiar to my ears.
Because I was already curious I also ventured to lift my face to see the man sitting right opposite me.
Deg, man,
Finally this is what happened again, my heart beating faster than usual. Our gazes were locked onto each other, either by chance or fate finally in this way we met again.
Samar heard the voice of the girl next to him calling out to Satria who looked very surprised just like me. It didn't take long until we were found again like this.
