Arinda, First Love

New friend

After arriving at his hotel room Arin immediately put his suitcase carelessly and threw his body on the king size bed.

His body was completely tired, but before he would close his eyes, he remembered that he had to contact his father and mother first.

Immediately he took the phone he put in his Sling bag which he put not far away. After calling his mother, and told if he had arrived in Jakarta Arin was asleep.

His sleep was so deep that he had been unconscious for several hours. When he woke up he saw that his surroundings were starting to darken.

He looked at the window, and it was already night. Arin woke up lazily, after stretching the muscles of his body that felt stiff he began to turn on the lights of his room.

After that he rushed to unpack the contents of his suitcase to take clothes, because he would take a bath and rush to perform Maghrib prayer which time would soon run out.

After completing the ritual of lightning bath and prayer Maghrib Arin also felt his stomach began to hunger. If he remembers, the last time he ate was his breakfast at home before he left.

So he decided to go out looking for food. But whether it was coincidence or fate, he again meets Sherina in the elevator. To be clear, Sherina was happy not to play because she got a friend for dinner.

The two of them finally agreed to go out to eat instead of eating at the hotel restaurant. Incidentally Sherina has a destination that she really wants to visit while in Jakarta.

They decided to eat at a steakhouse that was going viral on social media. Although only a simple store, but customers who come do not play the queue.

They have to be a little patient, but they both enjoy it. Usually Arin is difficult to get along with the person he just met, but Sherina is an exception for him.

As a woman, Arin feels comfortable talking to Sherina. His cheerful and supple carrying makes him always able to liven up the awkward atmosphere that Arin creates.

Sherina is not like strangers even on the first day they get to know each other. Sherina remembers him on the figure of Raka, who also easily took his heart as a friend.

They are both nice people Arin thought. How could one look that perfect, it seemed like the two of them had never experienced any misfortune in his life.

Both are equally good at entertaining others, and are not easily offended by Arin's residence. A closed person like Arin, is so easily destroyed by both.

After queuing for almost 40 minutes they were finally able to go in and order food there. Sherina looked most excited when ordering food. He even ordered 3 different portions of the menu.

Arin could only shake his head in surprise. Is it possible that Sherina could finish all the food she ordered. In addition to drinks, Sherina also ordered 2 servings of fruit salad.

"Sher, aren't you mistaken for that much food?" ask Arin after the waiters who recorded their order left.

"You calm down, Rin. I have a high appetite, I used to eat a lot." explained Sherina casually made Arin bersedik horrified.

"So that fruit salad is not wrong message 2 as well. Drink only you have ordered 2, is not full later your stomach ?" ask Arin again.

"Oh, if the fruit salad I ordered 2 deliberately 1 for you. But if that drink was for all of me. Thirsty I Rin, if the message 1 is lacking." he replied again making Arin massage his forehead in wonder.

"But I didn't ask for a fruit salad, did I?" ask Arin.

"Yes, that's me purposely let you try. Great salad, you'll love it. I'm the one who treat deh calm, you want additional messages again is also okay." said Sherina again casually make Arin out of words.

"Oh no, that's enough" said Arin who was lazy to argue his new friend.

Shortly after, their orders finally arrived. Their dining table was almost full of Sherina's orders. Arin thought, if Sherina is like a person who has not eaten for 3 days.

Sherina was not shy anymore with Arin, once the order came she immediately devoured one dish at the table. Arin can only smile at Sherina's behavior which he thinks is very funny.

Even though they were new to the scene, Sherina was never shy. Instead, he showed himself who he really was. From that, Arin can judge how sincere a person like Sherina is.

It seems like his decision to return to Jakarta was the right thing. Even on the first day, he had made a new friend as happy as Sherina.

"Arin, why daydream? Let's eat it." Sherina scolds Arin, making Arin smile again and immediately continuing with her dinner.

After that, there was no meaningful conversation anymore between them. Both Arin and Sherina choose to focus on their own food.

After finishing his dinner, the two decided to walk on the sidewalk down a Jakarta street at night. Arin really enjoyed the moment, honestly he missed doing that.

Once every holiday, he always spent his time hunting food with his two friends. If they were too full like now, then they would walk for several hundred meters until they were comfortable with their stomachs.

Suddenly, she felt very missed by both. He opened his phone, hesitating he continued to scroll Andi and Herti's cell phone numbers. Is it okay, he contacted them now he thought.

But had not been able to decide anything, Sherina also asked him to talk again. Coincidentally the food store where they came to the location is not far from the hotel where they stayed.

Because of the glut, Sherina invites Arin to walk to the hotel. Arin did not mind Sherina's invitation because she really enjoyed moments like this.

Once in the hotel lobby, Sherina immediately asked for Arin's mobile number. After exchanging their mobile numbers, they returned to their rooms.
