Let's forgive each other

After hearing Satria's explanation, they did not speak to each other a word. They simply spilled out all the feelings that were currently rumbling inside the chest so that they could feel relieved.

Now Arin and Satria are both confused about how they should behave and solve their problems. After all, this matter had both hurt them for many years.

A misunderstanding that he could not explain for 8 years could finally be resolved. Satria was relieved about all that. But he also can't just think that Arin will forgive him and give their relationship a chance.

"Now you know everything. And I'm so grateful to be able to explain that. But I also know that all my explanations are too late and I realize that you also have the right not to forgive me for all my mistakes."

"But at least, I beg you not to hate me" Satria said.

Arin still seemed silent and had not said anything. It was so hard for him to believe and never imagined.

"I forgive you Sat, but.."

"But what's rin?"

"But sorry, to continue our current relationship is not yet possible. Things have changed over the past 8 years, we are both hurt by this misunderstanding but that doesn't mean we may still love each other." Arin said after thinking for a while.

"Have you completely forgotten me and loved another man?" ask Satria.

Arin just shook his head making Satria again wonder.

"Then why can't we continue our relationship? Why don't you try it?" ask Satria back.

"Sat, we've been separated for 8 years. And during that time, both you and I, we have changed. I still love you, but not you now. I love you who used to be in my past."

"We only know each other once, but we are now strangers to each other" Arin explained, making Satria's heart again broken.

"I understand what you mean." said Satria trying to harden her heart.

"Let's forgive each other.“ said Arin gave his hand to shake hands.

Satria also smiled welcoming Arin's hand and immediately pulled it until Arin's thin body hit his body. Satria smiled while hiding the pain she felt.

"You are still someone I have loved so much, you will always have a place in my heart. Seek your new happiness, forget the past. I hope you will find someone who will love you more than me, who will trust you even when the world hates and judges you." Arin said sincerely.

"*No, dear. You are the only woman I love, and always will be. Someday, I'm sure God will bring you back to me."

"I love you, Arinda. You are my first and last love. You're the only one that's ever been in my heart." Inner Satria*.

For him it was enough, when Arin could forgive him. After almost 10 years he loves the same girl, and surely Arin will always have a place in his heart.

Although no longer able to be together, but Satria only wants to love the girl in her life. Because life is a choice, that is the choice.

"Please let me hug you in a moment. I've been waiting for this day for 8 years." Satria said with a small laugh.

Arin did not answer or reject him again. They only try to enjoy peace when they can make peace with their respective hearts.

Raka sees everything from a distance, although there is a feeling of jealousy in her heart but seeing Arin can make peace with her past makes her more calm.

After the meeting Satria and Arin agree to start their relationship as friends. Satria does not want to impose his will, whatever Arin wants now is his priority.

He thought let time decide where destiny would lead them later. He will keep Arin in his heart as his only love. And so did Arin, even though he had hated him so much but eventually he found out that at least Satria had never betrayed their love before.

It's not easy to start a relationship again after all these years, but he wants to give Satria a chance to remain someone who was once so valuable in her life.

Even if only in the past, Satria was his best love he ever had at that time. Arin will start to remember it that way. Satria has her own place in her heart, because it is a lie if she can forget Satria completely.

After all the drama of misunderstanding that lasted for a long time it was finally resolved well. Arin came home with a heart so relieved, he approached Raka who was waiting for him in the car.

"Is it over, miss?"

"Of course." replied Arin smiling so sweetly.

Raka was also happy to see the smile that came back up on your beautiful face Arinda.

"We're going straight home?" ask Raka.

"Hem, Raka.. Can we go to the mall for a second?" asked Arin with her cute face.

"According to the lady's request." replied Raka while turning on her car engine.

They also threw smiles at each other while throwing some jokes.

Can love be that great? Changing the sadness that comes like a storm that hits the island to make it fall apart.

But love is also able to bring rainbows and bright suns after the storm passes.

Such is life, we will not know the mystery of what will happen in our lives. Whether it brings happiness or misery.

Sometimes when we dream of a rain of happiness, that comes may be a storm of misery. Humans must always be ready to be slapped by reality, regardless of it as a good thing or vice versa.

Because no matter how man plans, it is still God who will decide what is good and bad for him to bring first in our lives.

Don't worry about destiny, because the wheel of life is always turning. If today you are made so tired by crying full of disappointment, maybe tomorrow God will present a surprise full of happiness that we never thought would get.

Satria learned many things from what has happened in his life so far, that as humans we are required to submit to the plan that God gave.

Not giving up, not getting angry. But we just need to follow every path God creates. Because in the end there will always be happiness waiting for us in front.

Stay confident and trust everything in hope wrapped beautifully through the do'a. For there is no vain do'a when a servant keeps asking with firmness of his heart.

Satria used to be so sure Arin would always hate her for the rest of her life. But today he was back in the slap by the reality that cooled his heart.
