Dean's Arrival

Living in coastal areas becomes a new thing that Arin really likes. What if she could stay here forever. Sometimes there is a feeling of unwillingness if he thinks that one day he will have to leave this place.

The beauty and charm of the beach lips in the morning and evening, always spoil his eyes for almost 1 year. Arin ponders a lot about many things while looking at the waves that roll quickly like vying to sweep the land in front of him.

Arin's house is exactly a few hundred meters from the beach. Although the house is quite simple, he likes it. Even from the window of his room he could stare directly at the blue ocean.

Both of his parents bought the house through his father's best friend who happened to be an Indigenous there. They used to be working partners in Jakarta, but he chose to go home and settle there.

In fact he was the head of the village where he lives now. Still like a dream, because he could be in a place as beautiful as this. The residents there are also very friendly people make their families feel at home there.

It's just that the economic level there is still low to make Arin sometimes pity with the fate of children who live far from the word decent. If residents want to accept an offer from the local government to make their environment a tourist spot.

Of course it will be a fairly promising economic driver for them. But on the one hand, Arin also agrees with the opinion of local residents if their beach is made a tourist attraction certainly will not be maintained beautifully as it is now.

They were afraid, the beach they had been guarding wholeheartedly suddenly became damaged with the arrival of new people who were usually at will. Trash will probably fill along the beach, and most of them fear visitors who damage the coral reef ecosystem there which is very beautiful to spoil the eyes.

If only Arin could do snorkeling, he could not wait to see the beauty of the underwater biota that is there. Uncle Ardi, who is a friend of his father, told me that the underwater scenery there is very beautiful.

As a local when he was a teenager, he and his friends often dived in the sea and played on the beach. And he dares to guarantee, if no one can refuse to be amazed by the natural beauty in his village if he knows.

Moreover, the beauty under the sea water that is green to blue is able to hypnotize the eyes of everyone who sees it to fall in love.

Like this afternoon, the weather was so hot outside but the wind blew hard to make Arin's body feel at home linger in the hot sun with children playing on the beach.

This afternoon they decided to play Volleyball, and of course they are already good at it because Arin taught them since a few months ago.

By wearing a crop top model shirt with jeans knee-length Arin running around giving direction to children who play. He is acting like a coach who is setting the strategy.

There's nothing meaningful in the last year that he's done there but play and have fun. 2 Times in 1 month he will go to the hospital in the city to do counseling with a psychiatrist.

And it's been almost 3 months that Arin is no longer taking sedatives or anything. And his counseling was only 1 time in a month in the last 2 months.

"So this is what makes you feel at home here." suddenly an unfamiliar voice sounded behind Arin made him turn his head.

They hugged each other for a while. Arin still could not believe, if the one in front of her was now her only brother who was very ignorant.

Arin can hardly believe seeing the change that happened to his sister for 1 year did not meet who now looks more mature. Dean has a high posture, strapping, slightly filled. He is a sports enthusiast and also an adventure in nature.

This was the first time Dean had come to visit. Because when Arin decides to leave, Dean's college is really busy because it will soon undergo a thesis trial.

His age and Dean were not far away, which is why they often quarreled and quarreled. But beyond all that, they are brothers who love each other even in different ways.

Arin immediately grabbed Dean by the hand and pulled him tightly to take him to their house. Dean was a little surprised to see their new home, looking simple yet comfortable to live in. Because he is a nature lover he quite likes the atmosphere there.

Unfortunately due to the burden of work, he could not stay there. In the early days of his work he could not come to visit because he could not take a sabbatical.

And when the day that he got the chance to come, he immediately decided without thinking any more. Arin did not know about his arrival because it asked his mother and father to keep it a secret.

And Dean had managed to make him very surprised by his arrival. Arin immediately made a glass of lemon syrup for him while calling their mother to tell him about the arrival of his sister.

I told her she would come in before 1 hour. Arin immediately delivered the drink to Dean. They sit on a sofa that is on the back porch of the house right facing the sea.

Dean and Arin seemed excited by their conversation until when father and mother came they were not aware of it.

Dean was very happy to see the changes that had happened to his brother. He could see Arin who now looked as cheerful as before, without pretense.

And don't forget his chatty lips that can barely stop talking. Dean patiently provided an opportunity for Arin to talk more. For a very long time, they had not spoken this warm and close.

Mom and dad immediately went to the back porch when he faintly heard the laughter of the two brothers. Mom immediately approached Dean and hugged him to let go of the longing so much with dad.

After removing the already piled up homesickness, they moved to the dining room because time had shown almost 2 pm. They also started their late lunch that day with laughter while telling stories.

Mother was deeply moved to look at her two sons and daughter in turn. It does not feel they are now growing up, and sooner or later only she and her husband will be left at home when the two are married.

The thought of it all made his mood suddenly sad. Quickly, he filled all undue thoughts. He did not want to ruin his family's moment of togetherness today with grief.
