Rahma's Answer

''I ....." Rahma ventured back to Tama's gaze, she took a deep breath filling her narrowed lungs as she was about to speak.

Rahma recalled her conversation with her son.

"Thaya, Thaya dear Mother?" asked Rahma on the sidelines to join Athaya studying a few nights ago.

"Honey Bun, Thaya dear Mother" Athaya stopped her act that was coloring calligraphy of her work. He moved from his position and approached the mother, kissing the loving precious woman in his life.

"Thaya dear Mother, Mother is everything, love you" he said after kissing Rahma's forehead and cheeks, sounding very melodious and sincere in Rahma's ears. Suddenly Rahma's heart was enveloped in immeasurable happiness.

"If uwa Budi and Uwa Wife, dear?" rahma asked after Athaya returned to her position.

"Darling dong" Athaya replied, this time without shifting her focus,

"Sama Ateu Maya and Omm Adam, omm Yusuf?" rahma asked again still testing the son,

"Dear Mother, I love everything" Athaya spread out her hands as an expression of her loving everyone.

"Father's Same?" rahma asked softly, her son sometimes showed an uncomfortable expression when discussing about his biological father.

"Dad love me not?" Athaya asked back, after a moment of silence made Rahma speechless, confused.

"Honey dong, dear father with Athaya" replied Rahma finally, trying to restore the mood of the son who suddenly clouded.

"But Father rarely met Athaya" the cloudy atmosphere because discussing the father grew increasingly sagging in Athaya's face along with his statement that was quite striking.

"That's because dad's busy. As a pious son, Thaya must understand and remain affectionate and pray for the father" Rahma gave Athaya understanding, although what Athaya said is true, he still gave understanding to Athaya to respect and appreciate his biological father.

"Thaya's sholeh's son, right?" Athaya nodded though still with her overcast face.

"Well, one of the characteristics of children sholeh is always to love parents and pray for them. So, Thaya must love and pray'akana father yes to be a son sholeh?" clearly Rahma was taken head by Athaya. Rahma smiled with relief.

Now the last Mother wants to ask" Rahma stopped her speech, trying to attract Athaya's focus.

"Ask what Bun?" Athaya was curious, he stopped coloring activities and looked at the Mother waiting for an answer.

"If the same handsome omm Athaya dear no?" Rahma finally issued the main question that she really wanted to ask the son long ago. His heart was pounding, was was with the response that the son would show.

"Darling" he answered briefly,

"Thaya is affectionate with a handsome omm, she is kind and caring for Thaya" continued Athaya, her eyes even sparkle when calling the name of a handsome omm. His overcast face instantly turned bright and excited.

"really?" ask Rahma to make sure,

"Yes Mother, if you can be a handsome omm who became Thaya's papi. Salsa said, if you marry again later Thaya will have papi. So his mother's marriage is the same omm handsome so omm handsome so papi Thaya" explained Athaya recounted his chatter a few days ago with his friends.

Degs....Degs.....Degs.....Rahma's heart suddenly thumped, her heart beating faster hearing what Athaya said.

"Whose salsa?" Rahma frowned, nervous and astonished at what Athaya said, how can a child talk about marriage.

"Salsa Bunda, my friend who was giving a gift of chocolate dodol when returning home from vacation from Garut said, but we are also new from Garut." Athaya chuckles, reminding Rahma with a girl friend who once gave her a gift of chocolate dodol souvenirs typical of Garut, even though at that time they also just returned from Garut. Salsa does not know if the Athaya family is also Garut's original.

"Yes Mother"

"So if the handsome omm becomes the father of Athaya......Thaya wants?" Rahma asked the son the final question. The response given by the son will have a big influence on the decision he will make.

"You" Athaya replied steadily, she replied with a nod of her head with sparkling eyes and a smile on her lips making Rahma breathe a sigh of relief.

"I what is Naura? You must not make me die standing up out of curiosity. I asked once again, are you willing to be a perfecter of half my religion?" tama's voice broke Rahma's daydream, he realized that he was now facing the person who was the object of his conversation with Athaya at that time.

Rahma took a deep breath, she prepared her heart so that the words she would say were true and clear and could be understood by Tama. However, dealing directly with Tama always managed to make his heart beat faster.

"Bismillah, God willing, I will sir" replied Rahma, slowly but clearly heard in Tama's ears made a man with millions of charms while on the stage and making the speech instantly frozen. For him the world momentarily stopped spinning.

Some time silence was created, Rahma lowered her increasingly heated face, while Tama cool in daydreaming rewinding Rahma's answer she had just heard.

"Bismillah, God willing I'm ready Sir"

"Bismillah, God willing I'm ready Sir"

"Bismillah, God willing I'm ready Sir"

Allah Akbar...Allahu Akbar.

"Adzan sir, I'm sorry.." because Tama who never spoke Rahma finally took the initiative to take a thousand steps so that her feelings back neutral.

"Wait" Tama held Rahma's shoulder that would pass from before her. Rahma looked at the hand on her shoulder. Although hijacked by the wide veil and thick jacket he used but managed to touch Tama make Rahma's heart rippled.

"Sorry" Tama hurriedly lowered the hand whose palm tip was still attached to Rahma's shoulder.

"Thank you, I'll propose to you soon" Tama said with sparkling eyes, unable to hide her current happiness.

"It should have been five years ago that I heard that answer from her mouth" Tama muttered in her heart.

"Indeed it should be" Rahma replied firmly, making Tama instantly expand her smile.

"Don't you miss me?" Tama came back against Rahma who was about to leave,

"Adzan Sir!" Rahma rounded her eyes in disbelief with Tama's question at an inappropriate time,

"I know, but answer first" Tama teased her again,

"What the hell...." Rahma turned her face that was instantly flushed red from Tama's question with an unusual gaze, though,

"You missed me?" I repeat the question, though,

Rahma sighed, and the man before her would not stop until he answered her.

"Not meeting does not mean not missing. Not saying hello does not mean forgetting. Because of you I have spoken first in the do'a" Rahma soon passed leaving Tama who returned to pecking with her mouth slightly open after hearing Rahma's words.
