Conversation of Two Friends

The night is quieter, but not with the mind.

Time has shown the passing of twelve o'clock at night but Rahma has not been able to close her eyes. Something still bothers his mind. He was still not inexhaustible with the reality he had just experienced. I would come at night just to catch up with him.

After his meeting with an important client in Bandung was completed at exactly three in the afternoon, Tama immediately rolled towards Garut. He even asked his secretary to prepare a few change of clothes because tomorrow he will take a week off and leave all office matters to his assistant. Tama will only monitor periodically from a distance.

Meeting with important clients successfully produces cooperation that will be mutually beneficial, Tama brings the company engaged in trading and his restaurant is growing rapidly. After the new Supermarket development project is successful, cooperation will continue with other major projects in various cities.

Tama's words were again ringing in Rahma's ears.

"This time you're with the right person. As long as you know, until now you were the best part of my life that I can't forget"

"Naura Rahmania, it's been so hard for me to forget you, that I've been hurt by the hope of wanting you too much"

"Sometimes we think too much about something that God has actually arranged, when it is only enough to believe and live that God's plan must be the best. And I feel like this is the best time for me to go back to fighting for what I was before I had. Logic tells me to stop, but my heart insists on fighting. And this time I'm gonna fight for my love"

Rahma took a deep breath, no words came out of her mouth after hearing Tama speak at length back then. His tongue was suddenly confused, not expecting to get a confession of love that sincere from someone who honestly once admired Rahma. Rahma chose to pass, after saying the words that made Tama exhale rough. She did not want Tama to know of her suddenly nervous state after listening to her statement.

"Pak Tama looks like soy sauce, rest sir. Excuse me for the first room"

"Subhanallah.please follow Your guidance, O Rabb" said Rahma slowly, her little heart cannot be lied to. Always shaking when remembering Tama, his heart warmed when he received special treatment from the man and his heart beat faster when close together. But Rahma still uses logic to face all the possibilities of the love she feels for the man, she feels the dividing wall between her and Tama is too high.

If Tama can accept herself as she is, Rahma has doubts about her family. Moreover, his mother Tama is a customer of his cake shop, he once said if the cake he ordered was special for his future daughter-in-law. That means the prospective couple Tama has been prepared by the mother. Moreover, at a glance, he had heard from his mother Tama when choosing a cake and asked Rahma to accompany him, if the girl had just completed her studies abroad, it means that their status is still equally single, while she is a single parent.

Rahma got out of her bed and decided to take ablution and spilled her heart on the prayer mat, hoping afterwards to close her eyes, taking a break from the noise of her own thoughts.

☘️☘️☘️

A bright morning welcomes a new day of Rahma's presence in Papandayan Nature Park. The warm morning sun is indeed a pleasure in the mountains after the previous light is far away to say hello when the clock still shows at five in the morning.

As planned, after breakfast this morning they will again start the adventure to Pondok Saladah. Shanum had asked the villa guard they rented to prepare some cooking utensils that are commonly used when camping to be brought there, the plan is they will make a tent while burning there. Various menus have been prepared, ranging from corn, fish, sausages and some meat and potatoes are all complete. Not to forget the grill that Shanum requested from the villa guard was also ready.

"It seems that this time her struggle cannot be considered cans" Lisna whispered near Rahma's ear, last night she got word from the husband if Tama came after them.

"What?" rahma asks indifferently, she is enjoying her breakfast after feeding Athaya earlier.

"Any thing, do not like to take others with him, he is safe, comfortable, peaceful and sentosa his life does not like to disturb" explained Rahma still with her casual mode, which is very simple,

"Wishh..if the queen has told, what can I do" said Rahma back down and took an omelet that became one of their breakfast menu at this time.

"What if you haven't forgotten your ex-husband?" after being quiet and dissolved in the breakfast activity Lisna again whispered, she wiped her mouth with tissue and grabbed a glass filled with water, gulped it down, a sign that the breakfast was finished. Currently they were both, the others were done with their breakfast and were enjoying the morning view of Mount Papandayan in the courtyard of the villa.

"Forget as what? if you already know it after meeting again insya Allah still remember" replied Rahma lightly, who was not happy,

"I mean, there's still love for him until you can't open your heart to another? it's been five years you know Naw yourself" Lisna reminded again, however she wants her best friend to open her heart and be happy with her partner.

"Love is not our will, but the Owner of the Heart. My target right now is to live my life right and make sure Athaya is happy. Regarding the Anggara I have no feelings, we already have each other's lives, the universe must have a purpose why it used to unite us and finally separate us, he said, yes although it is not fun at least to mature" as usual Rahma always has a reason to keep a clean heart against anyone including Anggara who has given him a lot of injuries. He did not want to blame anyone for the fate that had greeted him. For him all that happens is the process of forging himself to become a better person.

"Aahh, you always make speechless. From the first you were my role model friend, it was appropriate that you were strong to survive with Anggara without hate" said Lisna,

"Someone once said to me, tired but enduring, that's the loyalty of women. Angry but forgiving, that's a woman's patience. Tortured but silent that is the sincerity of women, and I get everything in you Naw, Naw-naw, naw-naw you are indeed the best" Lisna hugged Rahma from the side in a fit of anxiety,

"At the end of the day what we learn from life is about accepting the situation without blaming reality. Everyone has their own process to a happy ending. Just like flowers, not all flowers bloom in the same shape and time. Everyone has their own form and charm. You also feel for yourself what the process of happiness greets you, and I'm happy that finally your heart is anchored to the right person" Rahma said with sparkling eyes, he also looked at his best friend Lisna who suddenly had watery eyes because of haru.

"Aaa...I want to cry, thank you bestie you are always there in every moment of my life" Lisna hugged Rahma tightly again, she said,

"And now it's your turn to fetch your happiness, I'm sure Mr. Tama will be a good priest for you and a good father for Athaya" Lisna said.

"You forgot first you also introduced Mas Anggara to me, apparently you have not been kapok ya" joked Rahma, she tickled the waist of Lisna who was still a henchman hugging her from the side.

"Sorry.." remembering that the look on Lisna's face immediately turned sad, making Rahma want to laugh but she held him back, she immediately turned sad,

"Sometimes something looks amazing at first, but it turns out to be disappointed after being together. And I've experienced that. Ye know? struggling to hold on and struggling to let go of the two is a difficult thing to do" Rahma sighed pausing her words,

"Experience taught me to be selective in my choices, because he would not only be a friend but also a partner of worship. Household is the longest worship, it takes people who want to continue to learn and improve themselves. I don't want to fail a second time, because marriage is actually worship it must end in Heaven, not in the court of religion" Rahma concluded, she looked at her friend who again glazed, teary, they also hugged each other.

Without them realizing it, a pair of ears and a pair of eyes had been behind the door connecting the front room with the room where they were both. He was listening to the conversation of two friends this morning that made his heart rumble for a moment.
