"Sounds you guys getting closer?" a familiar voice reached Rahma's ears as she walked down the hallway which is the intersection between the female and male toilets.
The familiar voice made Rahma stop her steps. He turned to the source of the voice to be sure.
"Mas Anggara." said Rahma looks ordinary, rightly guessed that someone who spoke earlier was Anggara and his words must be on him.
"How are you?" Rahma was friendly as usual. Since a few years ago every face with Anggara his heart has not felt pain or anything.
Rahma was still kind and friendly to Anggara and his family. Although not infrequently sometimes his ex-husband's new wife is still acting tough on him. But Rahma ignored, it was her business.
He was just trying to make peace with himself, not wanting the disappointment and pain to continue to linger in his heart. Whatever happened between her and Anggara was the best destiny God had arranged for her.
"OK, you?" anggara's gaze turned soft, he also changed his speech intonation. Unlike the previous sounding sniffle when greeting Rahma.
"Alhamdulillah, me and Athaya are good. Then excuse me first, Mas, greetings to Friska" said Rahma kindly, she turned to leave the place.
"Rahma, wait" Anggara who is aware of what she is there is also trying to hold Rahma.
This morning her intention was to meet Athaya at her school. He left early from his home. But the sight of Tama and Rahma who together drove her son to school made his mood immediately deteriorate.
Anggara decided to follow where Tama would take his ex-wife next. The estimate is wrong, initially Anggara thought Tama would drive Rahma to the store. He was curious, continued to follow Tama's car until it was in this place now.
"What's up, Mom?" asked Rahma who again stopped her steps, she took a deep breath because it seemed like what Anggara would ask her according to her estimation.
"You're with him here?" ask Anggara to the point.
"You mean?" ask Rahma plain,
"The men of your former superiors taught at Garut.
"Don't you mean Mr Tama?" tanya Rahma made sure, and answered a nod of the head by Anggara.
"Yes Mas" replied Rahma briefly, there is no interest in him explaining anything other than answering Anggara's question briefly.
"You seem to be getting closer to him?" Anggara increasingly dare to ask things that should not be his business.
"God willing, God willing we will soon be married" Rahma finally explained the reason for their closeness, she felt it was the right time for her to tell Anggara because there was nothing to hide.
"What?" when Anggara showed a face of surprise, Rahma also linked her eyebrows. Astonished, feeling Anggara's reaction was too excessive.
"I mean, are you sure?" Anggara who was aware of the look on Rahma's face that suddenly changed to see her surprise, straightened out.
"God willing. I go first." replied Rahma, she turned her back to leave the place, aware that there were people waiting for her.
"Rahma, can't you think about it anymore? I ..." Anggara's words seemed choked, he was powerless to continue.
"Mas, I don't think you have any business interfering with my decision. But I appreciate, thank you for the advice, Insya Alloh I've thought about it very well" replied Rahma firmly, long time ago she was careless also responding to the attitude of her ex-husband.
"God willing Athaya has also accepted it, one of the steadiness of my heart to marry again is with the support of Athaya" explained Rahma again firmly, he did not want to cause negative speculation Anggara. Although actually it does not affect anything but Rahma just wants to emphasize what needs to be confirmed.
"Sorry Mas, I have to go" Rahma must immediately end her accidental meeting with Anggara,
"Can't you consider it any more? Even though we have been together, not you.." by not knowing the shame Anggara still provokes Rahma's decision, not even if you, I don't know what's on his mind right now that he's definitely back to being a selfish man.
"Mas, we are destined to be just that, limited to ever being together. Short stories that are not often complete, temporary stories that now have no effect. So, please don't discuss anything about our past since it's all done. Our current affairs are only about Athaya, I still respect you as Athaya's real father, nothing more" Rahma said firmly,
"It's precisely because I'm Athaya's father that I think that our son will be neglected after you're married, and I don't want that to happen" Anggara said, as if he were the truest,
"What did you say? Athaya will be neglected? you mean I'll ignore Athaya after I get married?" the look in Rahma's eyes was no longer shady, there was anger buried in her gaze this time.
"No, I mean..." Anggara who saw Rahma change into his own wave, he realized that he had offended his ex-wife.
"Rahma, I don't think you should marry and Athaya won't have to live hard. I will meet all your needs, so please do not make me disappointed" he said again with a sad face as if he was very disappointed with Rahma's decision to marry again.
Although he realized that his words offended Rahma but Anggara insisted with his efforts, I don't know what he wanted but this time Anggara clearly showed his selfishness again.
"No need to act disappointed, six years have passed, Mas, when I wait for you where? Why now that I'm happy you came and acted like I was the one who hurt you? Istighfar Mas, please no longer interfere in my personal affairs. Remember your wife and kids are waiting at home. Assalamu'alaikum" Rahma immediately left the place without turning back and speeding up his steps because he did not want Anggara to re-enact him.
Without Rahma knowing, someone was standing behind the walls of the hallway and hearing everything they were talking about.
"Sorry Mom, sir is waiting a long time." said Rahma awkwardly when they returned to where they had eaten together, she found the chair Tama occupied empty.
"Mama, papa, Ms. Rahma, please get used to it" Mrs Judge chose to correct Rahma's call which returned to her as a formal name.
"Eh.sorry ma, pa" Rahma closed her mouth while chuckling as she did not focus on her words. It seems he was not used to the call to his future father-in-law.
"Where is Tama, Ma?" Rahma switched the conversation, she glanced at the clock that was circular in her left hand already showing thirteen o'clock, meaning that one more hour Athaya had gone home.
"He went to the toilet" replied the Judge, he still enjoyed the rest of the dessert,
"Toilet.." deg, Rahma's feelings were immediately erratic, since earlier she was in the hallway that would be passed by men and women who were going to the toilet, the, but he didn't see Tama go in there.
"What is possible.." thought Rahma guessed maybe Tama saw the togetherness with Anggara. His heart suddenly fretted, afraid that Tama would misunderstand what he saw.
"Have you returned?" the person in her mind also appeared, she glanced at Rahma still with her sweet smile. But it feels stifling for Rahma.
"Why do I feel like I've been caught cheating?" Rahma thought, she looked wrong after Tama's arrival but tried to cover it up by being as calm as possible.
"Yes, Mas is also from the toilet?" ask Rahma to Tama,
"Heumm" he replied without turning his head, deg...Rahma felt Tama's attitude change on her.
"
