Dinner became the moment all the people near Lisna and Regy gathered in one place, their parents, brothers and friends joined the newlyweds and became part of their happiness.
Since the reception is finished each looks cool with his world and his own business in a different place even though it is still in one location. Everyone has their own way to unwind after a fairly draining day of energy but leaving happiness in the hearts of everyone for the happiness of two people with a new status that they care about.
A smile expands on the lips of everyone who has gathered at the large dining table that is deliberately requested in order to accommodate all family members, he said, but slowly the smile on each face faded as the two brides they had been waiting for since appeared with the groom's face looking bruised. Regy still showed a face with a smile on her lips as all eyes were on her, in contrast to Lisna who looked slightly moody.
The afternoon chat between Rahma and Lisna ended with the chanting of the adhan reverberating at the end of the twilight. They separated and returned to their rooms and promised to regroup for dinner together after the Isha prayer.
Before parting last afternoon, Rahma was sure that Lisna was fine, but tonight somehow worries hit her to see the moody Lisna and Regy who came with a slightly bruised face.
"Assalamu'alaikum, sorry to wait so long huh?" Regy breaks the silence that has suddenly ambushed the room since his arrival,
"Wa'alaikumsalam" in unison all answered even though it was too late, because all were deep in their thoughts after seeing Regy's face.
"I'm sorry.hehehe." said Regy ended with a ruckus,
"Your son is...."
"Assalamu'alaikum, good night everyone. Sorry I'm late" mama Regy who will ask about the situation of her son paused because the arrival of someone who was none other than Tama with a face not far neda with Regy made everyone again surprised and the atmosphere returned suddenly silent.
"Assalamu'alaikum" Tama repeated his greeting when he realized that no one had responded to his first greeting.
"Wa'alaikumsalam" answered everything compact they regained consciousness when they heard Tama's greeting for the second time, Rahma didn't even think that the man Lisna was talking about was now standing in front of her and they would eat together at the same table.
"Omm handsome why her face? Omm Regy too?" ask Athaya while pointing towards the faces of Tama and Regy. Athaya's question immediately caught everyone's attention, they were all curious about what happened to the two men,
"Darling...." Rahma embraces Athaya, shuts her mouth so that she no longer asks because she feels disrespectful, she is afraid Tama is offended by her son's question of being too curious.
"Omm it fell because the floor was slippery and omm helped by Omm Regy, but Omm Regy was less strong so we both fell" answered Tama's lie, he did not care about the doubtful gazes of the adults staring at him, his focus was only on Athaya sitting right beside his left. Regy clucked annoyed at Tama's answer to Athaya's question, he was annoyed at being said to be not strong.
"It's Omm..." Tama nudged the arm of Regy who was also sitting next to her to justify her speech,
"Hah.i.iya Boy, that omm both fell, ..uuh ..." Regy complained from laughing too wide while the corners of her lips were slightly injured.
"Kasian.." said Athaya with a cute style and adorable facial expression made the slightly tense atmosphere turn into boisterous laughter due to the action of the child.
"Other times be careful, Omm-omm" he said again by brandishing the spoon and fork he had held.
"Mother Thaya is hungry." he concluded sulking at the Mother, making Tama smile with anxiety and ruffling the cute boy's hair. Rahma had a glimpse of what Tama did to her son, her heart warmed up to feel happy because there was another man who loved her son in addition to her brother and sister.
Tama glanced at Rahma, their gazes meeting. Rahma immediately shifted her eyes and refocused on her food by occasionally feeding Athaya.
The time has shown at nine pm, the togetherness of two families in the living room on the first floor after dinner last night apparently will end. Athaya, who was playing with Lisna's nieces, began to show signs of drowsiness. Rahma is already routinizing if Athaya's sleep schedule is maximum at nine.
During their time together Rahma did not see Tama or the two brides at all, after dinner Tama said goodbye because there was important business. And soon the newlyweds say goodbye.
Both Regy and Lisna's parents had already returned to their respective rooms. Lisna's sister and his wife also said goodbye because their child also looked exhausted. Yusuf asked permission to meet with his friends in Garut, they agreed to meet at a cafe that is still in the Cipanas region. He left after first carrying Athaya to Rahma's room upstairs. Rahma decided to go back to her room because the atmosphere began to quiet
While in another room, precisely a small villa that is still part of the villa occupied by a large family, three people were sitting around a round table of medium size. Tama with her cold gaze looked at the newlyweds who were deliberately asked to face her.
"Gue has brought my wife in front of you, now you want to know more about Rahma. Ask myself my wife, everything I know I've told you" Regy spoke with a slight hint of regret, occasionally feeling the corner of her lips still sore.
"Sick...?" tama asked, she ignored Regy's previous words and instead asked him questions that were unnecessary to answer,
"Damn Lu, because of you I must be hard to make my wife. Sick tau ..." replied Regy by pointing her fist in the air, Lisna just shook her head to see the behavior of two men who had always appeared formal and authoritative if in the foundation. He did not expect the childish side of the two to really make him anxious.
Lisna was so shocked when entering her room to perform the magrib prayer she found her husband roaring in pain in front of the dressing table with a cotton swab in his hand and alcohol on the dressing table.
Regy told me she was in a jotos fight with Tama. Starting from Tama who threw a fist on her face because of upset did not inform about Rahma's divorce with her husband. Regy did not lose, he returned to reply Tama while explaining that in the past several times he would have told about Rahma, he said, even when the woman had just divorced and chose to move and live in Jakarta. But Tama looks reluctant and instead introduces Tasya as her fiance.
Tama sat down for a moment after getting a retaliatory fist from Regy, she did not fight back. The pain of Regy's fist was nothing compared to the pain in his heart because he was late to know the news about Rahma.
Tama asks Regy to tell her all about Rahma he knows and Regy complains with occasional grimaces for enduring the pain in her cheeks and the corners of her lips, telling her everything she knows about Rahma of Lisna.
Everything Regy says does not satisfy him, Tama asks Regy to bring his wife to him.
And this is where they are now, Tama is ready to listen to all about Rahma from sources she thinks are reliable.
Lisna took a deep breath before starting to tell a story, she thought for a long time after hearing her husband's story about Tama who still loves Rahma very much. Lisna decided to tell everything to the man who became her superior.
"Female is my old friend, we met at a small reunion and I brought Rahma back then...."
Lisna recounts the beginning of the meeting of Rahma and Anggara, not forgetting that she also explained the reason Rahma was willing to be invited by him even though before Rahma always limited herself to the creatures called the adam.
Everything Lisna knew about Rahma's domestic life she told me, the hard moments of Rahma who had to live her household in pretence, enduring pain for the betrayal of the man who had been chosen to be his priest, about Friska, his treatment of his in-laws, the death of both parents and Rahma's pregnancy to childbirth, and the, until the incident between Anggara and Friska that he saw Lisna told Tama everything, no one was left unturned.
Not a single word was spoken from Tama's lips for more than an hour hearing Lisna's story about Rahma, she lowered her head trying to hold back the water in her eyes. Anger, pain and regret coalesced into one in Tama's heart. Truly all this time he had wasted time, five years was not a short time. Somehow he had to think about how the woman he had loved for five years lived in solitude and deep pain.
Not only Tama who can not hold back her tears, Lisna was not able to not cry when telling the fate that hit her friend. He really can't imagine being in Rahma's position. Feelings of guilt again enveloped his heart, if he had a big contribution in the life that Rahma lived at that time.
Regy grabbed his wife's body and clutched it, he was seen several times rubbing the tip of his eye.
