"Rahma" cried Anggara, he got out of his place and ran after Rahma who left to leave him to the back door of the building to look for Athaya's whereabouts at the Villa where they stayed last night. They were now behind the building away from the crowd.
"I'm sorry" Anggara said when his steps had equaled the steps of his ex-wife. There was no reply from Rahma he kept walking with eyes constantly going around looking for Athaya's whereabouts in the back area of the building and Villa's courtyard.
"Roman..." Anggara called back his name making the called one finally stop and glance at her ex-husband and immediately turn his gaze in the other direction.
"I'm sorry, all this time I wasn't able to be a good father to Athaya" Anggara said in a trembling voice, he finally gets a chance to express his apology directly on the sidelines of their accidental meeting.
So far Anggara is very difficult to meet Rahma and Athaya, not because Rahma who always avoids or blocks the meeting of the father with his son. But the problem is more with Anggara himself whose space to communicate and establish friendship with his son and ex-wife is limited by his wife Friska.
After legally officiating their marriage after Anggara's divorce with Rahma, Friska increasingly showed her true character. He is becoming more and more possessive and ambitious. His possessiveness is more rampant if it concerns Rahma and her child. Anggara realizes that if Friska turns out to be very selfish, she severely limits the interaction between herself and her biological son and Rahma. Whenever Anggara comes to see Athaya and Friska is known, it always ends with endless debate between the husband and wife.
Friska's unwarranted jealousy towards Anggara if communicating or meeting with Rahma and her excessive fear if Anggara meets Athaya makes frequent quarrels occur if Anggara is desperate to meet her son from Rahma. Even one day Friska threatened to kill herself if Anggara did not comply with her wishes.
Many times Anggara gave him understanding that he only wanted to carry out his duties as the father of Athaya well. He wanted Athaya to feel the same treatment as his children from Friska. But, Friska always could not accept the explanation Anggara gave. Jealousy blinded his eyes and heart. Her fear that Rahma would again take Anggara from her side greatly dominated Friska's mind.
"You know Friska.." Anggara's words paused when Rahma looked back at him with a slightly sharp look,
"That's it, don't continue. I'm honestly not mad at anyone, at anything they've ever done to me. They are showing their true selves. And I need that" Rahma said, ending with a faint smile on her lips,
He was about to leave Anggara who pecked for a while after hearing the words of Rahma who slapped his heart very hard. There was regret and sadness clearly visible from his face.
"If I could turn the clock around, I would like our meeting and our togetherness to be forever. Forgive me Rahma.." Anggara's inner, staring at the back of the woman who had walked a few steps away from him, left him,
"Mother.." Athaya's shout that ran towards Rahma suddenly made Anggara realize from his daydream, he stared straight at the dapan. Seeing the son who had grown well all this time without him.
Athaya ran out with both hands to embrace Rahma. When Rahma squatted to align her height with Athaya's body, she did not realize someone was walking behind Athaya with a big smile to see the togetherness of the mother and child.
"Where are you from, baby, Mother looking for Thaya you know from earlier?" Rahma unraveled her embrace, she rubbed the child's forehead which looked sweaty.
"Thaya was playing the same from Mother's garden, there the garden is good, lots of flowers...Mommy would love to go there" Athaya spoke enthusiastically to convey her findings today, last night they arrived from Jakarta quite late to have no time to go around the villa area.
"She's with me" Tama, who has been a spectator since the mother and child interaction, finally opened her voice.
"Well....Mr. Tama..." Rahma stood up and looked at the man who was now standing in front of her with both hands inserted into her pants pocket,
"Athaya with you?" reiterate Rahma who immediately misbehaved,
"Yes." answered Tama briefly, he ruffled Athaya's dense black hair.
"Sorry so troublesome Mr, I was taking pictures with the alumni. Unaware Thaya left..." Rahma apologized for troubling Tama, she still behaved the same as when Tama was her superior first.
"No problem, I invited her" Tama replied with a grinning smile, making Rahma instantly round her eyes,
"So...."
"You're busy taking pictures, I just want to accompany her to play" Tama said quickly before Rahma continued her words.
Their conversation continued, Athaya told how Tama took care of him while playing in the park. The hue of happiness emanated clearly on Tama's face. Although he nodded his head in a nod when he heard the story of Athaya who occasionally asked for his approval but Tama's gaze remained focused on the beautiful face of the woman who had always been an angel in his heart.
There was a sudden warmth running through his heart, realizing that they were currently sitting in three. What a beautiful relationship Tama felt. Azzam his heart to justify Rahma immediately grew stronger, this time he would not waste any more of the opportunity that came for him.
While Anggara who saw the togetherness of the three people could only take a deep breath with eyes that began to glaze over. He chose to go from there without a word.
There is always wisdom behind the disaster, it could be that God gives us a bad destiny to open the best destiny that is worthy of us.
The cancellation of Tama's marriage with Tasya, Rahma's divorce with Anggara, was concluded by Tama as the beginning of good destiny that will come to him.
Ultimately what we learn from life is how to accept circumstances without blaming reality.
