Time passed so quickly, the days that Rahma lived more are now more colorful. Six months have passed since Anggara asked Rahma for a chance to improve their relationship and household. The relationship between herself and her husband is getting better, although good communication is the key to the durability of a relationship and it seems Anggara realizes that.
No day without telling his wife, good morning with sweet words became a routine to start their day. Rahma sometimes still feels awkward, she just replies with emot every romantic chat her husband sends her every morning.
Not just start the day by sending each other romantic and motivational messages every morning. Anggara also has its own schedule for video calls with his wife before bed. No matter how busy he was, during these six months all the simple activities he always did and became the glue of their relationship so that the better.
Once a month Anggara returned to Garut, when it was a time that was very much awaited by Rahma. As a good wife, she always prepares everything to look special when her husband comes home. From starting to clean the house, preparing his favorite food and other things he always prepared ahead of Anggara's return every month.
Since he gave an opportunity to Anggara, Rahma saw the change in Anggara is very significant. Anggara has never even talked about his lover and vice versa, Rahma never asked about it. Let it be an affair Anggara thought. As to what Anggara's way of parting ways with her lover, Rahma will only seek to believe that Anggara will improve their household. Since Anggara asked for the opportunity to improve their household Friska never once appeared.
Until now Rahma still observes Anggara's sincerity, she holds her husband's words that he will change and will slowly break his relationship with Friska. Even though everything is not easy, Anggara convinces Rahma to believe and gives her time to solve everything.
The day that Rahma was waiting for arrived, could not be denied if she always looked forward to this day. Every early in the month Anggara will come home to visit him and stay two to three days there. Even though they still sleep in different rooms but the warmth of their relationship is increasingly felt.
Family support and also in-laws who always contact him make Rahma more steady to set the heart, accept Anggara completely. Rahma rarely met with her in-laws because they were still busy with the duties of her father-in-law who was also one of the officials in the police. They still had to move around according to the task given to his father-in-law. But communication is well established.
Right at seven o'clock in the evening there was a roar of cars in Rahma's yard, immediately Rahma moved from the top sebadah. His routine after the Maghrib prayer was the tadarus until the time of Isha.
Still wrapped in mucus, Rahma walked to open the front door of her house. She was sure it was the sound of her husband's car, and sure enough when Rahma opened the door Anggara was out of the car and seemed to smile at him with a briefcase on his shoulder and a few hands in his hand.
"Assalamu'alaikum" said Anggara greeting his wife, he reached out his hand which he deliberately brought from Bandung.
"Wa'alaikumsalam, Mas" replied Rahma with a cheerful face and sparkling eyes, showing how happy she was to welcome her husband's arrival.
"You're so pretty tonight" they're still on the porch, but Anggara's already launched his romantic words. Not forgetting he also floated a warm kiss on Rahma's forehead after his wife kissed his hand.
For a moment Rahma nailed to hear the praise from her husband, she was no longer able to hide her face which immediately blushed when Anggara who suddenly kissed her forehead and looked at her lovingly.
After praying, and having dinner together. Rahma and Anggara are now sitting together in front of the television. A plate of fried bananas and warm green tea complement their togetherness tonight.
" This is Mas, caution is still a bit hot" Rahma handed her husband a cup of green tea, Anggara swiftly accepted it. His view shifted from the television that was broadcasting the news to the face of the wife who was right in front of him.
Rahma who was about to sit on another sofa next to Anggara stopped her movement because one hand was blocked by Anggara,
"Sit down here" Anggara patted the empty space of the sofa right next to him,
Rahma still did not move, but her hand was pulled back by her husband until his body fell right beside Anggara. Now they sit side by side without any distance separating.
One hand Anggara grabbed Rahma's shoulder after she kept the tea on the table which she had just slowly shaved away.
"Close, I miss you" Anggara dribbled Rahma's head to lean against her chest, her left hand clutching Rahma while her right hand grabbed the television remote and shrunk the volume of the television.
"I miss you, do you miss me?" ask Anggara in a soft voice,
"Heumm, that...." Rahma seemed shy to answer, she continued her answer by nodding her head which was still leaning on the chest of her husband's field.
"I was very happy, did not expect it turned out to be as beautiful as dating after marriage" Anggara said back, his hand turned to rub Rahma's head affectionately.
"Maybe that's why God forbids dating before marriage. For he who is able to be patient, can master his heart and desires in the time of the lawless, then Allah gives him not only the reward in the Hereafter but also the tranquility, comfort and happiness in the world"
"Friendship is arranged in Islam. Friendship with another gender is not allowed. As a straight path in establishing friendship with other types, Islam teaches marriage that should be done by first learning the personality qualities of prospective partners" deg....Rahma flinched with the last sentence she said herself.
Until in the end, looking for the pleasure of God for all his decisions became reinforcement to strengthen marriage at that time. Although in the end Rahma had to accept the harsh reality at the beginning of her marriage.
"Why is being friendly with other types forbidden?" anggara sela, sela,
"Because it is feared that it can cause slander and liver disease. However, interaction between types can still be done in the corridor of Islamic sharia provisions" Rahma replied, he stopped his speech when he realized from earlier he had too much to say.
"You are right, dear" said Anggara lirih, he also confirmed Rahma's explanation of the concept of a relationship between adult men and adult women who are overwhelmed by mutual love. His heart felt pinched at the words of his wife.
"Continue darling, I am happy to listen to a lot of knowledge and knowledge from you" continued Anggara,
"Are you really listening to him?" Rahma looked up at her husband's face with the position still leaning on Anggara's chest.
Without permission Anggara kissed Rahma right on her lips made Rahma round her eyes and her face instantly reddened.
"Why baby?" Anggara chuckled at his wife's response, though,
"Mas ih..." Rahma again hid her face in the chest of Anggara's field, making Anggara laugh.
"This is your first time?" anggara asked who was answered by a nod of the head by Rahma did not dare to show her face, she was really embarrassed, not used to her husband's treatment.
While Anggara smiled widely when he found out Rahma's answer, there was pride in his heart when he found out that he was the first man for his wife. Although in his little heart the guilt suddenly ambushed because he could not take care of himself and his heart all this time.
"Continue loving" Anggara again asked his wife to continue her explanation of friendship in Islam.
"Islam has a social system that contains a set of rules that govern the association between men and women, among them, closing the aurat, keeping the view, not khalwat or two-dua in a quiet or closed room, among others, speaking as necessary because of fear of God and there is an interaction agenda that is allowed syara', for example learning to teach in schools or in open discussion forums"
" There is no cure for two people loving each other other other than marriage. Because with the sacred bond, the two can pour out each other freely. Even if there is no love between the couple at the beginning of the marriage, at least when they understand the science then the intention and sharia will lead him to the path of grace" concluded Rahma, said,
"Thank you for the enlightenment, and I'm sorry if in the past I couldn't take care of myself" Anggara said with a sad face, if time could be repeated, he will choose to first be reunited with Rahma.
"The past is something that has happened, we cannot give it back. Just as it is not possible for us to make the water flow upstream or the baby back into the mother's stomach. Our next task is to improve the present for a better future"
"You're right, honey, mmuuaachh...." Anggara kissed the top of Rahma's head deep, he did not know if the heartbeat of Rahma was increasing.
"Darling, did your mom call you?" Anggara shifted the subject, he remembered if his return this time wanted to also convey the mandate of the mother, he said,
Rahma raised her head, she confirmed her sitting position so that she could talk while looking face to face with her husband but Anggara's hand held her back.
"Let it like this first darling, it feels very comfortable" prevent Anggara and Rahma also according.
"Yesterday my mother called me, she said she was now in Palembang. Nanyain want to be brought by-what, next week want to go home to Bandung and want to come here he said" replied Rahma, yesterday her mother-in-law did call her to tell it.
"Mama, don't you talk about anything else?" ask Anggara look around,
"What other things?" Rahma asked back,
"Mama wants to hold a grandchild"
