The doctor came in and immediately moved Megi to the next examination room. After a long wait, Megi was brought back to his hospital room.
The doctor called Sean to come to his room. Sean sat down in front of the Doctor who examined Megi earlier.
A photograph of the X-ray of Megi's head was taken by the Doctor.
"What's going on, Doc?" ask Sean directly.
"No more problems in the head, Megi. It should be just a matter of time."
"I mean Doctor?"
"It is customary after a coma that a person forgets some part of his life. Usually this is only a moment, slowly he will get his memory back."
"Wouldn't he have amnesia, Doc?"
"should, no. He just needs some time to get his memories back, don't force it. He's young, a hard bump on his head could be a deep trauma to his memory."
"So what should I do, Doc?"
"Enough to accompany him, do not make him feel burdened by his temporary forgetfulness. Make her mood always happy, it can be very helpful for her healing."
"All right, Doc."
"Keep that headache doesn't matter, Doc?" asked Sean worriedly.
"Megi is very young, the impact on her head could be a brain trauma for her. If you can, don't let him force his memory."
"Wouldn't there be any trouble ahead, Doc?"
"May all be well, yes. You have to be patient."
Sean sighed, he massaged the corner of his forehead that felt faint because of this new problem.
"Thank you, Doc. Then excuse me." said Sean, get out of the chair.
"Please."
Sean walked out of the doctor's office. He breathed and strengthened his feet. Whatever the burden, life will go on.
Sean opens the door to Megi's room, seeing Megi still lying on the bed. Now his eyes were wide open, staring at the room painted in cream.
Sean walked over, pulled a chair and stroked Megi's hair.
"Your head still hurts?" asked Sean softly.
Megi just nodded. His eyes looked at Sean's face.
His memory is indeed fading, but the heart will not just disappear. His chest still felt so warm when he saw the face of this man before him.
Even though Sean feels so foreign to him. But somehow, there was a calm feeling as Megi looked at Sean's face.
"Rest yes, I'm there. If you need anything, just call." Sean got up from his seat.
Megi pulled Sean's hand, as Sean turned his gaze, looking at Megi's pale face.
"What's wrong?" asked Sean softly.
"Whose sister's name?" asked Megi with a gentle smile.
Sean seemed to be knocked from reality, when he heard Megi's question. But when he saw his smile he seemed to return to his strength. Sean again sat down next to Megi and gently rubbed Megi's forehead.
"What name do you think I fit it with?"
Megi climbed one eye eyebrow, why did this man even ask back. Megi shook his head limp. Sean simply smiled resignedly and returned to his seat.
Opened his laptop and tried to get back in reality. Sean looked at Megi who was still lying weak, how should he face this heartbreaking reality?
Stop, that's all he can do. Sean patiently waited for Megi to return to his memories. Sean was just entertaining without even asking anything.
Every day Sean just waited for Megi to recover completely, tired that he no longer felt. He himself takes care of Megi and his work. The new Farrel he liburkan, impossible if he had to load.
Sean's confusion takes care of the two things he's currently focusing on. Often meeting places for client meetings are moved to hospital cafeterias, or look for cafes around the hospital.
But this heavy burden was slightly lighter, as Megi's smile began to decorate in his tired days. Sometimes Megi also can chattering ngawur, although after speaking carelessly he blushed embarrassed.
While Megi who saw Sean with his activity was dense, still trying to accompany him. Put a little time, even Sean always try to return at certain times.
Sean didn't want to miss every moment he could. Create beautiful memories every day.
Sean always came back even if only to feed food. Or Sean who always patiently wipe the skin Megi in the morning and afternoon. Sean who with the rest of his energy carried Megi who just wanted to go to the bathroom.
Sean's overproteck attitude rekindled sparks in Megi's heart. Although Megi's thought has been completely erased, Megi's heart still feels a different vibration when looking at Sean's face.
Sean walked quickly through the hospital corridor. His steps came to a halt as his hand held the doorknob.
Sean abandoned his intention to go inside. He sighed heavily and sat down on the chair that was on the side of the corridor.
Sean brushed his hair back, pulled out a cigarette and smoked it slowly. May there be a power that rests within him.
Too tired to face everything, Sean reflected the smoke coming out of his lips upwards. Tilt his head to the back of the chair.
"When do you want to punish me like this, Megi?" sean said softly.
Sean's eyes glared at the white ceiling of the hospital corridor.
"The punishment you gave almost drove me crazy, I wouldn't have lasted if your eyes had been closed for much longer."
Sean sat up again, combing his hair back. Smiling bitterly, laughing at his fate that was so bitter for him to swallow.
"Even when your eyes are open, you still punish me very severely." Sean dropped the cigarette he smoked twice.
Stamped hard on him and got up from his seat. Sean sighed again, opening the door to Megi's room slowly.
"Sister." call Megi softly after seeing Sean go into the room.
"Yes, what's wrong?" sean asked to come closer.
"I'm bored, I need some fresh air sis." said Megi spoiled.
"But you're still weak, Meg."
"I've been lying here for a week, brother. I'm tired."
"Sunday?" sean asked with a frown.
"Yes, it's been a week, hasn't it?" ask megi plain.
Sean just shook his head, Megi easily said he was only lying down for a week. After the harsh reality that was so long and exhausting Sean's body. He almost killed Sean. Lose Sean's entire bone, devouring his strength.
Everything that happened was so long, this journey process was so exhausting. Even everything becomes uncontrollable.
"Sunday?" Sean again uttered it softly with a bitter smile and shook his head.
If it was only a week, maybe he wouldn't be this weak. Maybe he won't be tired by now. If only a week Megi lay, maybe he wouldn't be this scared. It won't be too wrapped right now.
"So, how come it's diem?"
"Well, Meg?" sean asked back a bitter smile.
"So why, anyway?" megi asked confused by Sean's attitude.
Is there something wrong with his words, why Sean keeps repeating his words. Aweek? what's wrong with a week?
"Wouldn't you take me for a walk? why even say a week?"
"Okay, I asked the doctor first." replied Sean relented.
Sean walked out with his mouth still saying the word a week. I don't know why that word made him take a deep breath. He still couldn't accept saying it was only a week.
"Sunday?" Sean smiled bitterly again.
"Too much happened in that week, Meg. Until I forget to count how much time I've wasted without you on my side" Sean said as he walked to the doctor's office.
