A Poem To Dila

A Poem To Dila
Dusk and Dila

After finishing eating, Dila and I went to meet the others, once we were on the bench of the park, it turned out to be Windi, the Star, the Star, Ian and Desi were already there and were waiting for me and Dila to return.

Dila and I walked over to those who were gathering. “Sorry yes, you guys are waiting for us huh?”

“You guys said that from earlier, really long?” Desi said with an annoyed face because from earlier she was taken forcibly into the haunted house with Ian.

Dila just smiled. “Sorry-sorry.”

“Yaudah mending us up Roller coaster aja!” Say the Star while proposing his idea to others.

Windi was trembling, feeling scared. “Gua has never been on a roller coaster before, so the richness of the cave does not come. Cave scared!”

The star looked at Windi caringly, then clasped his hand tightly. “Quiet, Win. The cave will always be beside you. Don't be afraid.”

With a thumping heart, Windi understood that the Stars would take care of him. They walked towards the counter to ride the roller coaster, their hands clasped tightly together.

Dila and I sat next to each other. When the roller coaster started moving, it seemed that everyone was still calm. However, upon reaching maximum height and suddenly freefall at high speed, screams echoed along the Roller coaster, including Dila who was terrified from the start.

The scared Dila immediately clasped my hand tightly, as if not wanting to let go. I looked at his expression and whispered, “Quiet, as long as I am here, everything will be fine.”

Dila smiled weakly and held my hand even tighter. The thrill of the jarring roller coaster and the overreaching speed filled our feelings.

After the ride on the roller coaster was completed, at exactly half-six in the afternoon, we stepped down with a sense of relief. The sensation of the emotionally draining drama is now subsiding, leaving unforgettable memories in our hearts.

Before we all went home, someone suddenly gave me a brochure about a discount to ride the ring. “What if we ride Bianglala, before going home?” my proposal.

“Bby tuh.” they answer almost simultaneously.

Shortly before we bought a ticket for the ring, the officer told us that the barn could only accommodate four people for one place. Since we were six, I decided to ride the bianglala in pairs. Everyone agrees, except for Desi who looks upset must pair with Ian.

“Win, ride with cave huh?” Desi invites Windi to ride the ring together because he is reluctant to share a place with Ian.

“Eh, sorry Yes Des, cave has promised to go up Bianglala with Bintang.” Windi replied doubtfully.

“Oh, so yes. Yaudah, the cave invite Dila aja.” said Desi while leaving Windi and Bintang, heading towards me and Dila.

“Dila, same ride me yes.” Desi held Dila's hand, trying to persuade her.

“Eh... Eh.. sorry yes, Dila has been paired with the cave, Valid, no debat.” I said while releasing Desi's hand grip on Dila.

“Yaudah, it's okay, the cave's coming with you two. No problem so 'mosquito' also.” Desi replied in an annoyed tone.

Dila was surprised by what Desi said. “Eh..”

Suddenly Ian immediately grasped Desi's hand and immediately climbed the Bianglala. Dila who saw Ian and Desi just smiled. Soon Dila and I boarded the Bianglala.

After Dila and I boarded the Bianglala, the bianglala slowly ascended upwards, I saw that Dila was terrified by the altitude. “What do you think of today?” my many.

“I Kataan Dila was cut off because suddenly Bianglala died and where me and Dila were at the top or at the top.

I saw Dila, her face full of fear when the reanglala suddenly died. I grabbed her hand, trying to calm her down amid the darkness that enveloped us. “Dila, relax. Look out, the sky is so bright with an orange color that illuminates it.” whispered me while holding his hand tightly.

I wanted to show him the beauty of twilight that looked like the universe was smiling, creating an orange color that was so stunning just for the two of us.

Dila glanced outside, her gaze was originally dark, but slowly the twilight colors began to pervade the eight that enveloped her. Highlight his eyes sparkled as the sky opened, exuding a dusk wonder so dazzling. “Cantik.” whispered in a hoarse voice, then gently he clasped my hand. “This is the most beautiful twilight I've ever seen.”

I smiled at him.”Take it easy, Dila. It won't be long. Soon bianglala will be back on.”

However, at that time the fireplace remained unlit. The atmosphere above was quiet and tense. We both fell silent, staring down that looked so far below us. A feeling of uneasiness began to approach Dila's mind. I saw the watch I was wearing on my left hand. Time passes slowly.

“Iya has already started.”

We got off the bianglala and got together and got ready to go home and leave the playground.

“Anjir, the cave was really shocked just now the culprit suddenly died.” said Bintang with a foul tone, reflecting the surprise that still looms over him.

Ian also chimed in on the word Star. “Sama cave also Tang.”

Desi chuckled to Ian. “Not that you weren't surprised huh? but instead scream hysterically.”

Ian also laughed to Desi. “Eh little si.”

Desi approached me who was walking next to Dila. While smiling, he asked me. “Not surprised earlier, you? No comment on the incident?”

I smiled faintly, feeling the soft touch of twilight that still overshadowed my mind. “May power out.”

Desi denied firmly, hitting my stomach a little harder. “Where might the power die while the other rides are still moving? Don't be smitten!”

I took a deep breath, trying to endure the pain of Desi's punch. Carefully, I took out the Bianglala brochure I had stored in my jacket pocket. I saw the three of them watching curiously.

“You guys didn't read it? In the brochure explained, at 17:45 Bianglala will stop for a moment to enjoy the twilight sky.” I said while showing the brochure section that explains the temporary stop.

“Udah, yuk, mending us home. Afraid of going out for the night.” said Dila who walked beside me, inviting us all to go home after our adventure in the playground.

When we got to the car, Dila was too tired to sleep on my shoulder. I let her sleep, while looking at her face and marveling at her beauty that was so apparent when she fell asleep.

I promise Dila I will try to keep on with you as long as I can breathe, as long as this heart is still beating, and as long as I still have the courage to keep looking into your eyes, I will be with you wherever you go, I murmured in my heart while looking at Dila's face, which seemed to be falling asleep.

The stars, Windi, Desi, and Ian also fell into a deep sleep, signifying just how much they all enjoyed the journey we went through today. The atmosphere of the carriage calmed down, only the sound of our breathing could be heard in the silence of the night.

With a mixed feeling of exhaustion and warmth, we continued on our way home, carrying with us the beautiful memories of today that were engraved in our hearts.

Arriving at our destination station, I carefully awakened Dila who was asleep on my shoulder with peace radiating from her face. Although it didn't feel like waking him up, but we were on our way, so I slowly woke him up.

“Dila, wake. We have arrived.” I whispered to him.

Dila rubbed her eyes and slowly got up from her seat. “Udah until yes? Sorry, I fell asleep on your shoulder.” he said as he uttered a soft apology. I saw Dila who still looked a little slow, immediately stood up and supported her body to help her get out of the car.

We both got off the train first and walked in the station while waiting for the other friends to get off. After all gathered, the moment came to part.

“However, we must part here.” I said as I walked away from the five of them and traced the station passageway to the exit.

I was still stepping in the station hallway, and suddenly I heard the sound of footsteps running towards me. As it turned out, Dila was chasing me and calling my name with a breath of breath.

“Deni..”.

I who heard Dila's voice immediately turned to look at her and walked over to Dila who was trying to catch her breath, it seemed that from her facial expression she was like she wanted to say something to me.

“Thank you for today. I'm so happy and I won't forget everything.”

I immediately rubbed his head and smiled then left Dila. “See you again at school ya.”

I continued my steps, letting the warmth of the feeling and the fond memories of that day take us both in unexpected directions.

Thank God for all the breath you have given me. And thank you. Because you have created a twilight without fear of being swallowed up by the night sky.
