A Poem To Dila

A Poem To Dila
National Examinations

Today is the day that my school runs the National Examination, not just my school but almost all the High Schools in my city run the National Examination, we can be sure that all 12th grade students have prepared themselves for this National Examination.

I walked out of the room to the door to prepare to go to school holding my black bag. Once at school I met the Star who happened to be waiting for the others in the parking lot.

“Tumben you leave early in the morning blind gini?” I said while tos to the Star who was sitting on his bike.

“Iya is the dog now right UN, you want to be late?”

“Yes is not ege.” I said while denying the words of the Star.

“Choches on long bet, cave from 6:15 am wait them on not yet dateng also.” The star looks at his watch.

“Yes it's you who part ege, UN starts at 8 you even leave at 6.” I said in a loud voice to the stars.

“Ya anticipation aja, fear later the cave motor tires ilang, or trees fell on the road.”

“Yes you don't pray like it's kocak.” I said as I sat on the other student's motorbike that was there.

After half an hour passed the children finally gathered all together, and we hurried off to the Exam Room not far from the parking lot. While walking towards the examination hall I saw Dila and Windi walking towards the examination hall as well, and I stopped my steps to be able to walk towards the examination hall with Dila.

“Lu why is silent? Blocking the road aja.” Suddenly there was a sharp sound behind me, Windi was nagging at me.

“Mana gua tau, gua no see you are behind the cave.” I answered while turning my face towards Windi.

Without mercy, Windi directly kicked my leg violently. The pain hit my body. “Damn lu.” I said with annoyance, while holding my leg that was hit by Windi's kick.

Dila, who was beside me, smiled gently while standing beside me. “You are not kapok ya make a sprain Windi.” Speak with a soft tone.

I nodded with a smile and said, “Dila, gamau helpin Deni stand nih?” I looked at Dila with hope in her eyes.

Dila smiled warmly and kindly extended her hand to me to help me stand up.

I grabbed Dila's hand and tried to get up from the pain that still plagued my body. While the two of us looked at each other, a warm smile was engraved on our faces, creating a beautiful moment this morning.

Dila and I walked to the examination hall to take the exam that will be held this morning, the subjects that will be tested today are mathematics, mathematics, me and the children waiting for the officer to come also entered the exam room and sat in the place that has been provided in absentia, my seat and Dila are not much different only three benches.

After the exam supervisor came we prepared to start the final exam. “Oke children, before good morning, for the National Exam today it would be nice to start by reading the do'a first.”

“Pray according to each trust in start.” Said the supervisor presiding over the event today.

“You can just go directly into the website that has been provided, and just input the number of examinees and your name.”

“Good sir.”

“Pray starts.”

I looked at the matter for the sake of the matter before me and answered carefully, it was not too difficult for the first five questions, without counting them I could already deduce every answer from the question. But after the five questions began to become more and more complicated as I felt about Dila, I could only rely on my skill to see me for the best answer, yes of course the skill of seeing me is seeing the answers of others. But to cheat is also not an easy thing because I have to pay attention to the eyes of the examinee who is very thorough.

After about two hours I worked on UN problems with half the answers from my friends I was finally able to finish the last problem smoothly, he said, shortly the bell for the end of the exam rang me and the class children rushed to end the exam.

“Finally done too.” I said as I stretched my stiff body for two hours facing the monitor.

“Okay children, because the test has been completed you can leave this exam room.”

“Good sir.” We all stood up and walked out of the examination room.

“Oi ege, how was the test? Can your brain digest those questions?” I asked Hendrik who was walking in front of me.

“Otak cave not kepake at all, just now just pass the cave exam ngegacha answer.”

“Sick lu.” I said to Hendrik.

After we left the room, we went to our class for a short break before we all went home because the National Examination is one day one course. I was sitting in the front seat of my class was approached by Bintang and Hendrik to take me to the cafeteria.

“Oi Den, you want to go to the canteen?”

“New cave dog also arrived here, you if you want to go to the cafeteria instead of the cake now the cave again males.” I said, refusing the invitation of the stars.

“Yes already if you do not want to come, the same cave Hendri to the canteen.” The walking star left me with Hendrik heading to the cafeteria.

From a distance I saw Dila who was calling someone looking like she was very happy because she was on the phone with that person, I thought that the one Dila called was her parents or her friend who was in Tangerang but after I heard the story of Julita who was my classmate that the person who it was on the phone with Dila was his girlfriend, I who heard the words from Julita was immediately silent and thought if Dila's boyfriend was Ridwan.

After I looked into the classroom it was not Ridwan who was on the phone with Dila but someone else, and the other person was the younger brother of my Sundanese teacher back in 10th grade, I also did not know who his girlfriend was at that time but from the look of his face he looks very cheerful even I would not be able to make Dila that happy. Today my heart is really broken, I thought my rival was just Ridwan, but my rival is the one you like, but somehow I was still trying to get you right then and there.
