A Poem To Dila

The day changed so fast that the National Examination was over and my time in High School was only one month left. My class is holding a meeting for graduation.

“Before graduation where do we go?” Zahid asked the class children who happened to be all in the class.

“Ke beach only si?” Robi proposes her idea to all of us who are in class.

“Pas class 10 we have already gone to the beach, later before graduation we also want to go to the beach again? Not sure what?” Felia answered about Robi's words.

“Ya cave just propose, if you all do not want also papa.” Said Robi answering with a carefree face.

“The plan is we will nginep or not? If suppose we nginep better we rent Villa aja.” Hendrik asked the class.

“If the cave is better nginep aja yes, because tang-gung aja, run out of time not until a day let alone it's our last day to be together.” Felia answered about Hendrik.

Zahid asked for certainty. “Ya already, we will stay at Villa?”

“But where are the Villas?” Ask the stars to the other children.

“Don't go far anyway according to the cave, mending at the top aja anyway closer too right?” Say Rifki while providing the best solution.

“Well, how was it? Agree no?” Said Zahid asking about the idea of Rifki to others.

“Ya was there aja.” Say something else while agreeing with Rifki's idea.

All the class children agreed to the idea of the Rifki, exactly a week from now we will go to the top to spend time with us there.

One week went by just today I was with my classmates going to the top to spend the last day of my High School days, before leaving for the top we gathered first at school, and yes this school that has been for the last three years, the school that has brought me together with Dila and that has carved a beautiful story that I can never forget.

“His daughter is on where?” The star asked Zahid.

“They've gone there first.”

“Now what are we waiting for?” I asked those who were gathered in the school parking lot.

“Ya we wait for you ege!” Said Hendrik to me who had just arrived.

I laughed a little while riding Hendrik's bike. “Oh you all waiting for the cave, meaning cave of important people yes.”

“Si dog even laughs.” Say the stars to me.

“Lu want to ride a cave motor?” Hendrik asked me who was riding his bike.

“Emang you didn't see that cave walk here?”

“Mana cave tau, cave not see lu.” Hendrik said I was chiming in.

“Ya already if you have collected kayak gini mending we leave alone, fear it will fit there to hunt afternoon.” Zahid said leading us to go to Villa who are at the top.

During my trip on the bike with Hendrik I only focused on my phone while scrolling Instagram, he said, I saw the posts of people I followed but I accidentally saw a photo of Dila with her new boyfriend appear on my instagram page. Because I was curious I checked the Instagram profile of her boyfriend Dila and it turns out I saw some photos of Dila with her boyfriend who was hiking to a mountain, I also saw the friend who was next to him turned out to be Felia and Hilma who happened to be hiking with them.

I saw the post was very upset my feelings were like being whipped by reality which forced me to let go of Dila, but the universe should know, how I can let go, while having her alone I can't afford.

After arriving at the Villa, we went inside and rested in the rooms that had been provided. A few minutes later, I decided to take a walk around the Villa while enjoying the surrounding scenery. Finally, I found a garden chair that was located some distance away from the Villa and decided to sit there.

From a distance, my gaze was fixed on Dila who was on the second floor of the Villa, was busy talking on the phone with her boyfriend. Her dazzling face, her beautiful smile, and her laughter that always lingered in my memories, I wanted to have it all about Dila.

“Oi you do yourself here? while smiling to yourself again?” Yomi said as she approached me with Zaman carrying a guitar.

“Other gua get a fresh breeze aja.”

Sitting with me Zaman plays the guitar and sings a song to take you off Drive.

“Can't blame the time... It is impossible to blame the situation... You came when I needed you... Of my life with him... The more I love you... The more I have to, the more you get out of my life... Fate seemed to bring this song together with my current state. The lyrics are so fitting that I feel right now, when I am at the intersection between having to let go of Dila or keep fighting to get it, even if it means having to wait longer. I could not understand why I was so enamored with her, but I realized that my feelings for her were not just ordinary likes, but that I really needed her.

I used to think that my school happiness lay with you, Dila. However, after graduating from school, I realized that you were not only the reason for my happiness, but that you were someone I really needed in my life.

From far away I saw Hendrik, Azis, Bintang, Yaksa, Alpin, Robi and Zahid approach me while carrying the ball to play on the field right next to my seat.

“Oi, let's play ball first, happened to the cave just bought a ball at the front stall of the gate.” Say the Star while carrying the ball to the field.

“Ya let's go gas.” Yomi and Zaman stood up from their seats to go to the field and play ball.

“Lu also join ege, do not be silent mulu.” The stars invited me to play ball with them.

I also stood up and walked towards the field. “Iya yes cave play.”

Me and the others also played ball on the field we split into two teams of 5 people from each team, my team consists of Zahid, Hendrik, Bintang and Yaksa, he said, the opposing team consists of Yomi, Zaman, Robi, Aziz and Alpin.

We played the ball for approximately 30 minutes after we finished playing ball we also walked to the Villa we rented, I saw the girls swimming in the swimming pool at the Villa without a second thought, Hendrik and my friends jumped into the pool to go swimming with them.

“Woi lu why jump-jump?” Said Elis with a loud tone to Hendrik who suddenly jumped.

“Gua sultry Lis had played the ball earlier, so the cave followed swimming with you guys “

Hendrik laughed and continued swimming. “Iya yes sorry.”

“Awas Drik cave jump nih.” Said the Star while jumping towards Hendrik and bumping into him.

“Si anying instead jump to the cave.”

“Kata gua was also aware just now, you are still there.” Say the Star while standing in the swimming pool.

“Lu even jump around, already know many people” Windi who saw the Star jump in the pool swim directly hit him.

I was sitting alone in the chair by the pool, my heart pounding when I saw Dila coming out from inside the Villa. Her gentle steps and her alluring smile fascinated me. He walked up to me with slow steps, showing an unbearable cheer.

“Oi Den, why are you sitting there? Come here to swim with us.” Hendrik asked me to swim. “Lu fear of water huh? Or you can't swim? here brother gendong.” Said Hendrik while mocking me who was sitting because I did not swim with them.

I smile. “Damn lu.”

Dila saw me sitting alone in a chair by the pool, and her gentle steps approached me. Her cheerful face fascinated me, and her outstretched hands invited me to swim.

“Come, swim?” Said Dila in a soft voice, extending her hand to me. I couldn't help but smile when I saw her.

“Or are you not afraid of water or can not swim like Hendrik said earlier?” He said while teasing me with a sweet smile. His call made my heart flutter.

I stood up from my seat. “Do not miesel ya.”

“Nyesel... Pa?” Said Dila but I immediately walked towards Dila and held her body and jumped with her towards the pool.

“Ih shocked tau.” Said Dila while hitting my body.

I laughed at Dila. “Kan said I also do not miesel, ngeyel anyway spelled it.”

“You want to race to the end? If I win later I give you snacks how?” I asked Dila while inviting Dila to race.

“Bener yes?” Speak to Dila.

“1... 2... 3...” Said me and Dila started the cue for swimming racing with Dila.

Dila and I were racing to get to the end of the pool, but when I was swimming with Dila, Yomi suddenly jumped out of the pool and hit me swimming.

“Awas Den cave jump.”

Yomi laughing. “Yakan cave just talked cave jump.”

“Mana gua tau, cave will swim again.” I said while swimming to the edge of the pool and out of the pool.

I who was standing beside the pool because I was hit by Yomi saw Dila who was still swimming to win the race with me.

“I win.” Said Dila while holding the wall from the end of the swimming pool and turned to look at me. I who saw Dila looking at me only smiled and waved and walked over to her.

“Ihh, he said he wanted a race? Why did you even go out of the pool?” Say Dila with a tone of anger and frown while out of the pool swimming and sitting on the edge.

I smiled and rubbed Dila's head with my right hand. “It seems like no matter how many times I race with you, you will still win kok.”

Dila climbed into the swimming pool. “If you're trying you don't know who won it.” Dila played her feet touching the pool water.

I smiled a little at him. ”I can compete with anyone who likes you but I will not be able to compete with the person you like.”

“Means?” Said Dila asking about my words just now.

“Let's swim again” My words invite Dila to swim and pull her hand into the water.

“Eh, uh, wait a minute.”

“Come, are you the one who invited me to swim? So don't protest if I pull you to swim too.” I said as I clasped Dila's hand and took her swimming.

Dila smile. “Iya yes deh”

“Tang you again what?” I asked the Star who was carrying Windi.

“Lu don't see what, what more cave?” Said the Star to me who was carrying Windi.

“That's a child of pity Win it.” My words are saying Windi who is being carried by the Star.

“Berisik lu Den.” Windi said in a loud tone.

“Udah don't disturb others, mop swimming again.” Said Dila while pinching my stomach to not disturb Star and Windi.

“Aduh pain Dila.” I said while holding Dila's hand which was pinching me.

Dila and I swam together and it didn't feel like time was passing so fast, I went to the bathroom to clean my body and change my clothes. After I changed my clothes I went back out of the Villa and saw that there were still many people who were swimming and one of them was Dila.

I approached Dila who was still swimming. “Udah cepet up later sick, there shower keep changing clothes.” I told Dila to get out of the pool and clean her body after changing her clothes.

“Iya yes I changed this shirt.” Dila chuckled at me and extended her hand to ask me for help so she could get out of the pool.

“Well dong nurut.” I said while pulling Dila's body out of the pool and Dila went to the bathroom.

After Dila went to the bathroom I walked to the seat that I, Yomi and the time of sitting, had been sitting on, from a distance I saw a woman approaching me who was sitting alone and that woman was Julita.

“Lu by yourself Den?” He asked me who was sitting alone in that chair.

“No, the cave is both the same lu.”

“Taik lu.” Julita said as she sat on the empty seat at the same table as me.

“You why are you here?” I asked Julita who had just sat in that chair.

“Lu know that Ravhy has a kegua feeling?” Julita asked me with a worried look, who was talking about Ravhy who was my best friend in 10th grade.

“Iya cave tau.” I answered with doubt. “But you already have a girlfriend?”

Julita shook her head slowly, her eyes filled with doubt. “Iya cave already have a girlfriend, but the cave just want to be sure only the feeling of the Ravhy to the cave is like how?”

After I finished chatting with Julita I also walked to the Villa with Julita to gather with my friends and eat together.

After preparing the meal, we ate together.

I gave one of the mineral waters Hendrik had just given to Dila. “It's drinking.”

Dila smile. “Still.”

As long as it's about you I'll give it my all, including my world.
