Chapter 82: The Sadness of a Mother.

It's been three days Reagents have been lying in the ICU room in a coma. Adryan and Bryan faithfully accompany the man in the hospital. What's more, Bryan didn't leave the hospital for a second. He even applied for an impromptu leave for a while for the sake of guarding the Reagents. For Natalie herself, she decided to go to Paris this morning with Adryan's permission. The condition of the Reagents that filled his mind, made Adryan not want to argue with Natalie again and choose to grant her lover's wishes. The woman also could not delay his departure any longer.

Before leaving, Natalie accompanies Bryan to the hospital overnight, and leaves for the airport after Vanessa picks him up. While Adryan met Natalie at the airport before going to Winston General Hospital, it was not until the afternoon that the man went to St. Maria Hospitals.

The two were busy considering Doctor Steven's advice from yesterday to inform the Reagents' family. They mustn't be bad-minded, but at least Doctor Steven doesn't want his family to have any regrets if anything happens to Reagents.

By midnight, Adryan had just arrived home. Usually at this hour the whole family is asleep, but it turns out the father and mother are still in the living room as deliberately waiting for his arrival.

"We're waiting for you, Ryan," Liam replied. His face looked very serious. He told his eldest son to sit down with them.

"What's this?" adryan asked with a face of astonishment.

"Dear you used to visit St. Maria Hospitals. What's up there, Ryan?" Without further ado, Liam immediately asked a stark question.

Adryan tried not to be surprised when he heard the question asked by his father. "Just visit a friend, Pa," replied the man. In her heart she felt astonished, because every visit there, Adryan and Natalie always tried to hide themselves by wearing clothes and accessories covered.

"Which friend makes you visit him every day?" Liam demands an answer.

Adryan sighed. At first he was still weighing up Bryan's decision to tell their family, but after Liam learned of his secret routine, Adryan decided to be honest.

The mood was silent for a moment. Liam and Amanda wait for their son to speak.

"Rey's sick, Pa, Ma. He has stage three Astrocytoma, and a few days ago he just had a Neuroendoscopy."

Liam and Amanda opened their eyes. Amanda even dropped the teacup she was holding on the carpet.

"The tumor cells have spread and can only be removed partially. However, after surgery his condition turned out to be declining, and at this time he ...," Adryan changed his sitting position, "comma."

Amanda almost squealed, while Liam pegged for a moment. The assumption that the son who was experiencing something, when he heard the report from his colleague who was the manager of the hospital, turned out to be very wrong. It was not Adryan who experienced something, but his daughter-in-law.

Amanda held herself back with all her might to avoid sobbing. Adryan begged his parents not to tell Zenaya this, and they agreed. Because in any case, they have to keep Zenaya's condition from being shaken.

Meanwhile, at the Walker family residence, Jennia and Krystal are seen crying hysterically.

After Adryan left, Bryan decided to leave the hospital for a visit to the Reagents' home that night. He was afraid that the courage that lay in his heart at this time would be lost if he had to delay even longer.

Their conversation halted instantly, when Jennia suddenly became unconscious. Luckily, Noah who was next to the woman swiftly caught the body of the mother so as not to hit the table.

"Zenayya! What about Zenaya?" ask the man later. He looks worried about the condition of his second son-in-law.

"Zenaya has not heard of this at all, Uncle," Bryan replied.

Craig nodded his head. For now Zenaya does not need to know, what else is the condition of the Reagent is like this. Craig couldn't imagine what would happen to his son-in-law if he found out. At a minimum, they would have to wait until the Reagents opened their eyes.

After Bryan died, Craig went into the room to accompany Jennia who was still unconscious. The man stroked and kissed the wife's forehead feeling.

She understands Jennia's grief as a mother who has struggled with childbirth, and played a role in raising her two sons.

Moreover, they had just been able to regroup with the Reagents this past year. For 10 years the man left his family to study and take care of the company there.

Her memories suddenly drifted on the scene the other day, when Reagen suddenly hugged her after she applied for leave. It was fitting that the child's embrace felt different at that time, and he was completely unaware of it.

Craig took in his breath which began to feel tight. As much as possible he tried to stay strong to receive the bad news that befell the Reagents. He is the head of the family here, that means, he must strengthen his wife, children, and daughters-in-law.

Bryan got up from his seat as soon as he saw the arrival of the Reagents and the Zenaya family almost simultaneously.

Amanda immediately hugged Jennia tightly and strengthened the iron.

They stared at the Reagent who was still lying in the ICU room from behind the transparent glass.

Doctor Steven came to see them a while later. He said that the state of the Reagents had begun to show a little development. Reagents even responded to Bryan's call by moving his fingertips once.

Jennia begged Doctor Steven to be able to see the Reagents up close.

"Please Madam, but only one person in turn." Doctor Steven is welcome.

Craig let the wife take her first turn.

The woman entered the ICU. With the help of one of the nurses who was there, Jennia wore special green clothes, before being allowed to approach Reagents in her treatment room.

Jennia kept her mouth shut as much as possible, when she discovered that her youngest son was fitted with several devices, such as ventilators, infusions, catheters, and an ECG.

The woman rubbed the head of the Reagent very carefully, while whispering softly in the ear of the son. "Wake up, honey, it's Mama. Don't sleep too long. Many are waiting for you here" he said in a trembling voice.

The nurse who was there also said the same thing as Steven, so Jennia kept whispering encouraging words while calling out the name of Reagen.

Jennia repeatedly wiped away the tears that flowed down her cheeks.

"Wake up, honey, your wife and son are waiting. You must not leave us, anything else to leave your unborn child to the world. Zenaya needs you, Mama needs you." Jennia began to be unable to resist sobbing.

Not strong on foot, the middle-aged woman crouched down while holding on to the edge of the Reagen bed. He unceasingly called out the name of the son with a faltering voice.

Craig who looked from the outside could only fall silent. A single tear came out of his old eye.
