Zenaya's remorse

Zenaya's remorse
Chapter 72: The Bright Point.

Juan knows who Alex is. He is an educated man who comes from a good family. Although the man's life is full of ambition and easily obsessed, but Alex can still control himself.

There was not the slightest stumbling block in the 39-year-old's life. Everything went smoothly and always according to his wishes..until the moment, a dark event disturbed Alex's soul.

Alex had a 12-year-old adopted sister under the man, but she died after being involved in an accident while going to the hospital to pick him up.

Alex who loved the foster sister so bad. His temperament changed from a gentle-hearted man to a temperamental man. His originally controllable ambitions and obsessions become out of control. Especially when knowing, that the accident that happened to his sister is a coincidence.

That's what caused Alex to do such a horrible thing.

For the sake of revenge, he found out who had hit his sister, and m*b*nvh the perpetrator. Not only that, Alex also had a chance to almost eliminate ny*w4 a woman who became friends t1dvrnya.

In order to keep the good name of the family, Hendy Cole, the grandfather, finally helped cover up the cases, somehow.

Hendy also had asked the grandson to take a leave of absence for several months, before finally being active again in the hospital.

Juan had thought that Alex would continue to settle there, but after the father told the man to handle a cooperation agreement with Winston General Hospital, –coincidentally, he was the one who handled the company from far–, Alex decided to return to his homeland.

Juan never blamed a woman named Zenaya whom he had never met. Because here Alex is clearly wrong. Her obsession with having that woman leaves Alex out of control. What's more, after learning that Zenaya has married.

The next day, Reagen inevitably tells Noah everything about Leah, from her fake identity to the events of that night. Not to forget, about the figure of Frans who was seen in Piana.

"Why did you turn into a reckless man, Rey!" Noah widened his eyes. The man suddenly pinched his forehead which was suddenly painful.

Reagents speechless. He refused to dispute the insults made by his brother.

"No! We're both stupid. I didn't check Eleanor's real identity, either. If only I had listened to you, you wouldn't have experienced something like this. I'm sorry, Rey." Noah looked at the sister with a sad face. A feeling of guilt lingered in the man's mind.

"There is no need to regret what happened, I too have been able to stay silent." The reagent bowed for a moment, before then looked at Noah seriously.

"I told someone to look for Frans in Piana. Meanwhile, Bryan and I will investigate who Lea really is. For some reason, I had a feeling that everything that had happened was related to each other" recounted Reagent.

"Be careful," Noah's message to the younger brother.

"Night, Mr. Walker," said one of the security guards as soon as he saw the Reagents who had just entered the apartment building.

"Night," replied the friendly reagent. The man chatted for a while with before continuing his goal.

"Rey!" The call of someone made Reagen, who was standing in front of the elevator, turn his head.

His chest suddenly rumbled to see Alex walking towards him with a happy face.

"We haven't seen each other in a long time, Rey," said Alex, patting Reagen on the shoulder.

Reagents fell silent for a moment. He scoured Alex's body from head to toe, then stopped on Alex's right palm wrapped in bandages.

"What's up with your hand, Lex?" ask Reagents without further ado.

"Ahh, this?" Alex raised his hand, "my hand was scratched by a knife while cooking. Because of this I was forced to cancel part of the operation and leave some of it to another doctor." Her laugh.

Thin smiling reagents. "That's what it looks like" said the man, staring at the elevator in front of them, "you know, Lex, if something I've been planning failed miserably, usually I like to vent my frustration by smashing things until my hands get hurt."

Alex frowned. "What do you mean?" ask the man.

The elevator door opened. Reagents get into it. "I hope you never do that when you're upset, because if you do, then you'll keep doing it until your hands are h4nc*r." A mysterious smile was imprinted on Reagen's face.

For some reason, hearing Reagents say such a thing, Alex felt a little frightened.

Just as he was about to reply to Reagen's words, the elevator door had already closed.

Alex's heart was beating hard. A hint of unpleasant feeling perched in the man's mind.

The reagent arrived inside the apartment not until five minutes later. Although he had explained the true events honestly to Zenaya, the relationship between the two was still a little tenuous.

Zenaya no longer talks much as usual, and she would rather sleep than wait for her husband to come home.

However, it seems that this time it is not so. Reagen's smile expands when he finds Zenaya standing on the balcony of their apartment.

Slowly, Reagen walked up to his wife and hugged her from behind.

Zenaya mutinied, but Reagen begged him to leave their position like this.

"Allow me to straighten things out" said Reagen as he peeked at Zenaya's neck and shoulders.

Zenaya was silent for a moment. "True or not, you shouldn't have let any foreign woman kiss you."

Zenaya jerking rough hand Reagents. The shadow of the incident then could not disappear from his memory at all.

Reagen took his breath. He let Zenaya go to their bed.

The atmosphere in the office seemed quiet. Hayden, the chief investigator in charge of the Walker family's collision course, and some of his team members were sleeping on their desks.

Understandably, already some hi this they have to work extra to solve the case. Hayden hasn't even been home for days.

Suddenly the sound of the phone ringing broke the silence in the room.

"Thank you for the phone!" hayden yelled annoyed, annoyed by the noise from the phone.

Some of Hayden's subordinates woke up and elbowed each other, before finally, the youngest team member relented and began to pick him up.

"Police Office********* here." The man answered the phone in a sleepy tone. He even refrained from yawning.

A second later, his face suddenly changed. He immediately hung up after thanking her, and woke up his team members, including Hayden.

"The suspect's cell phone has been found!"

"Move! Move!" hayden exclaimed to his entire team.

Thank you for reading up here.

Again I try to remind you not to continue reading, if indeed this story is not in accordance with the wishes of the brothers. Instead of causing anger that finally gives a comment is not good, better leave this story (which I delete forgive yes, but for the sake of maintaining the quality of my heart and mind, he said, so I can keep writing this story until it's over).

Honestly, such hateful comments caused my concentration to be disturbed and my focus to be lost. In fact, there are two important scenes left behind and eventually destroy the entire story that should not be like this. I try to keep bringing it properly even without these two important scenes.

The point is I want to reiterate once again, that Reagen is a businessman, not like Frans who has a background of a former intelligence member. So that's the action scene I gave to Frans. There's no way that my tests for Reagents can fight like Frans, or that he can figure out the mastermind of his own problems. It's not that easy, bestie. 😆😆

As much as possible I want to make a story that is not excessive. The CEO is not a superhero, he is just a good businessman. If the problem is present from within the scope of his business, then he can act, like Arion in my second novel, "Full Love of the former CEO", but because this conflict comes from the outside, automatic reagents need help.

Hopefully it can be understood, if there are still protests here, please try to example how I have to make the right story, by making my own story, so I can see and learn it. Understandably, I am still a layman. 😭😭😭

Thanks again very much. Greetings from me, a low level writer. 😇5 a.k.a
