Zenaya's remorse

Chapter 40: The Puzzle of the Past.

The weather this afternoon was not so sunny when Zenaya and Natalie arrived at the fifth-floor garden. The brownish-golden woman invited Zenaya to have a short conversation there. Natalie also entrusted her father to the nurses responsible for holding her.

"Sorry, I couldn't attend your wedding at that time." Natalie opens her voice.

Zenaya turned to look at Natalie who was sitting next to him. "It's okay, Nat. I know you're very busy." A smile of the story appeared on the beautiful face of the wife of the man she loved.

Natalie returned a smile to Zenaya. "By the way, how's your home life? Is everything going well?" tanyanya.

Zenaya looked at the sky around the garden. There are many patients who are breathing fresh air there with their families. The woman seemed to be breathing out. "Every household will be difficult at first, but not anymore." Answer Zenaya honestly.

"You alone, how's your career life, Nat? I've seen the news about your first international movie coming up soon, and I intend to watch it later." Zenaya looks relaxed chatting with Natalie. It was in stark contrast to Natalie who felt stiff and awkward. Both have a bad past, however.

"thank you. I intend to stay in Paris and continue my career there." Answer Natalie.

"That's great! I'm sure your career will be even more brilliant there," Zenaya said sincerely.

Natalie bowed listlessly. His face seemed to be thinking about something. " ... My career has always been smooth, Zen, but not with my true story" he said later.

Hearing those words made Zenaya's heart suddenly feel uneasy.

"Nat–"

"You know, Zen, besides being busy, I also have another reason for not being able to attend your wedding?"

Natalie laughed lightly while nodding. "Your guess must be right" he said. The woman then looked at Zenaya seriously. "I don't want to see a man I've loved for a dozen years, suddenly with another woman. My heart hurts, Zen!" yells.

Zenaya kontan. He doesn't know what to say to respond to Natalie's anger.

"Since sitting in the upper second-middle class I've loved Rey, .. and up to this second, that feeling has not changed at all, Zen." Natalie reopened her voice.

The woman was indeed planning to disappear from the life of the Reagents, therefore she wanted to reveal everything to Zenaya.

"Let me empty my weight on you, Zen," Natalie said in her heart.

"We even had time to live together abroad for college. At that time I thought Rey would open her heart if we got used to being together. But it doesn't seem so. His heart is only attached to you, Zen." Natalie's voice sounded vibrating.

"I'm sorry, Nat. It should be you on Rey's side, not me who is clearly not as sincere as you. The mistake he had made had fostered a deep sense of hatred in this heart." Zenaya looked at Natalie.

"If he turns to love me, it's nothing more than a form of responsibility for what he's done in the past and the present" Zenaya said. "You're the first and only girl who's close to Rey, Nat," she said.

Natalie laughed lightly while shaking her head.

Zenaya immediately scrunched his forehead, finding Natalie's reaction. "What are you laughing at?" tanyanya astonishment.

"So, all this time you thought Rey's feelings were that simple?" Natalie asked back.

Without waiting for Zenaya's response, she reopened her voice. "I'll tell you one Zen secret, and I hope it can be your consideration."

"What secret?" ask Zenaya curiously.

Natalie exhaled. Let one little hint be leaked to Zenaya, that she may know that her thoughts have been gravely wrong.

"Before you loved him, Rey had loved you first, long before you realized the man's presence at school."

Zenaya. "What do you mean?" tanyanya. He did not understand the words Natalie had just said.

"Find the answer to Zen himself .. Obviously, Rey's feelings are not as shallow as you think. He truly loves you, so I choose to give up and back. I never intended to take it away from you, because I understand how painful it is to lose someone we love."

Zenaya really didn't understand what Natalie was saying.

The woman is remembering the past. From what Natalie said just now, it seems Reagen already knows about her.

Knowing the hardness of Zenaya's heart, Natalie patted the woman's shoulder. "There's no need to think about Zen now, it's not something you need to worry about" he said calmly. "Be happy with Rey, give her a chance and an answer to her love for all these years. Otherwise, I'll come to snatch it." A sincere smile rose on Natalie's lips.

Zenaya had just arrived at the apartment by herself. In his hand were three plastic bags containing various foods. Tomorrow the new husband will go home, so Zenaya intends to improve and fill the food supply.

Finished tidying up all the groceries and getting ready, the woman rushed towards the bathroom to clean herself up.

"Good night, sir," Juan bowed to Alex. The young man had just come to pick up Alex at the hospital.

"Night. At first you came without having to tell me many times" Alex said. Juan's forgetful habit makes Alex have to talk repeatedly if you want to give orders.

Juan grimacing. "So I set an alarm after I got a call from you, sir" Juan replied.

Alex got into the car. Today he did not return to the apartment because his father ordered him to come to the main house. So he asked Juan to pick him up.

"Ahh, Juan, can I ask you a favor," he said suddenly.

"Whatever Sir."

Alex gives Juan a picture. The photo contains a picture of Zenaya that he took secretly some time ago.

Alex has made sure that Zenaya is the girl he has been thinking about all along, and he wants to know the ins and outs of Zenaya completely.

"Who's in this picture, sir?" juan asked to know.

"No need to know. Just get the full information on him."

"Good!"

Zenaya's phone rang as the woman was about to prepare dinner.

"Hello,"

"Hello. Are you home yet?" ask Reagen from across the phone without further ado.

"Yes. I just wanted to eat" replied Zenaya. A longing is present when you hear the voice of the husband.

"Ahh, then I've been bothering you huh?"

"Not really."

"By the way, I'll be home tomorrow. What do you want me to bring?" ask the man later.

Zenaya closed her lips. He did not want anything other than the presence of the man.

"Nothing" replied Zenaya doubtfully.

"Why? There's nothing you want to eat?" insist Reagent.

"I just want you to go home." Zenaya can only say it in her heart. "Bring me some chocolate" the woman replied in the end. He deliberately said so that the husband did not constantly urge him.

Reagents laugh little. "alright. Continue eating, I'll call you later,"

"Hmm, uh,"

"I love you" said the gentle Reagen.
