Zenaya's remorse

Chapter 23: Recovery.

Now Liam, Adryan, Craig, Noah, and Reagen are sitting together in the living room. Noah is busy cleaning up the wounds on Reagen's face, while Liam and Craig have a serious conversation about the man's plans to marry Zenaya.

"You know what psychological impact the victim gets if married to the perpetrator?" ask Liam seriously.

"I get. However, they have been together and have loved each other. So, there's no harm if my son is responsible for marrying your daughter. What's more, your family is a distinguished family. Please, think ahead. We don't know what happened to Zenaya in the future." Craig looked at Liam no less seriously.

Liam understands Craig's point about what happens next. "It's not necessarily the case, they only do it once."

"We never know. You're a doctor, you must understand this better than I do." Craig chimed. He stared at the back condition of his youngest son who looked grimacing in pain. Noah was not at all compassionate to treat his sister's wounds.

Liam massaged his dizzy head. What Craig just said is not entirely wrong. His eyes then looked at the Reagents Noah had just finished treating. The man's face looked slightly better than before.

Adryan himself could only budge. He was eager to reject the Reagents plan. Adryan would not want to see his beloved sister with the jerk on the lap. Times have changed modern, many couples are married even though their status is no longer virgin or girl, especially they live in a free country like this.

Adryan sighed. For some reason, thinking about it made him feel like he was like a jerk who underestimated this incident.

Amanda, Jennia and Krystal take Zenaya to her room. Amanda told me

it was on them that Zenaya was hit by a car while escaping from Reagen's apartment. Luckily, the location was not far from the hospital, and the impactors, consisting of several young men, were responsible for bringing the girl unconscious.

Liam doesn't want to prolong the problem. He only asked the teenagers to keep their mouths shut if they knew Zenaya.

Jennia gently stroked Zenaya's hair. "I'm sorry, Aunty, Zen," said the woman once again. His hand then gently grasped Zenaya's cold hand.

Zenaya did not give any reaction, other than her tears that were still flowing. Inner shaken. Seeing the cry of the older brother made the wound in Zenaya's heart more hollow. Not to mention, his concern for Liam and Amanda. He felt like he had destroyed his own family.

A little while later, a maid came to Zenaya's room. Liam asks them to come down and leave Zenaya with the maid.

With Jennia and Krystal, Amanda descended into the living room. His mind grimaced when it saw the state of Reagents. Although Reagen has desecrated his daughter, but to come to hate the man can not reduce Amanda's anger. Reagents have also learned enough from Adryan.

Amanda approached the Reagen and held her swollen cheeks in gentle movements. "It must have hurt a lot" said the woman.

Reagent unmoving. His heart trembled knowing Amanda's attitude was still willing to treat him gently. The reagent clenched his hands with all his might, keeping the tears from coming out of there.

"Compress warm water while at home later, and apply Oparin Gel on the bruise, but do not get exposed to the open wound," the woman's message to Noah who sits on the other side of the Reagent.

Noah nodded and thanked.

Liam interrupted the three. He told his wife about the plan of the Reagen and his family.

Amanda listened to Craig's explanation once again intently. The woman understood the meaning of the Walker family. What's more, the two know each other. That was why they dared to question Zenaya.

"Zenaya is still shaken. We better talk back later." That's all Amanda could say. All decisions will be left to Zenaya when the conditions are much better.

Reagent and his family understood. They promised and promised to come back later.

"I'm hoping to hear some good news from you." Craig extended his hand to Liam.

Liam accepts the hand of Craig and his family members. But not with reagents. Zenaya's father was even reluctant to stare at Reagen's face any longer. While Adryan immediately left them without saying anything.

At first, Zenaya still used to shout hysterically every time she closed her eyes. But now, he was able to sleep well. Zenaya also had to raise her body weight back. Nearly two months after the incident, he had lost almost nine pounds.

Grace, who knew the news about Zenaya, diligently visited the woman at home. She even stayed for a few days when her husband was out of town.

Early knew Grace always cried every time she saw the condition of Zenaya, but now she already looks more robust.

"Let me help you," the new Grace came, directly to Zenaya who was busy drying her hair using a hairdryer.

"You're not practicing?" ask Zenaya.

"It's still morning, I still have time to bother you" Grace replied witfully. Zenaya smiled.

"Emily and Alice have called you?" grace asked as she dried Zenaya's hair and combed her.

"It has. They're planning on coming next week."

His two other friends also knew about the incident that happened to Zenaya, from Grace. They are of course surprised, so as much as possible Alice and Emily will take the time to go back there to see the condition of Zenaya, as well as hear the full story.

The reagent was not heard from at all. The man was lost like an earth swallow.

Reagents don't actually disappear. He just exiled Craig somewhere to reflect on his mistakes. He is also not allowed to enter work until this problem is resolved.

Among Walker's family, Jennia was the one who most diligently contacted Amanda. He has also visited Zenaya several times to see his condition.

Zenaya could not resist Jennia's presence. To be honest, he was instead comfortable with the middle-aged woman's kindness. "Hour 3pm. Why?" Grace asked back.

"I want a walk out. I'm bored at home. Tomorrow, the plan is for me to return to work, too" replied Zenaya.

Grace frowned. "You haven't recovered properly, Zen!" hatchlings.

"I'm doing fine. Ka Adryan must be tired of holding two jobs at once."

During Zenaya's illness, Adryan did concurrently as a financial manager for a while. Liam did not forget to guide him. The man has not found a replacement for Zenaya.

Liam had actually banned Zenaya from working, but Zenaya insisted on refusing. He doesn't want to stay locked up at home.

"As far as you go." Grace shrugged her shoulders. Arguing with Zenaya will not solve the problem.

Zenaya smiled and hugged Grace tightly. "You're my best friend" he said sincerely.

"You too." Grace returned Zenaya's embrace equally tightly.
