Zenaya's remorse

Chapter 58: Frans Disappears.

Reagents were seen moving away from Zenaya when they got a call from Frans. His secretary had just told Reagen that he was attacked by two mysterious men last night.

He had come to the security post to report the incident that happened to him, but when he returned to the top, the two mysterious men had disappeared without a trace.

Initially, Frans had suspected some people he might have known first, but he was not sure. No one knows his old identity, other than some of Walker's friends and family.

Meanwhile, Frans's friends in France are now also unable to be contacted. Right after the man helped Frans find out about Alex, he just disappeared

Frans was trying to get someone to go there to confirm the man's whereabouts.

"Be careful, Frans. Let me know immediately if you've found your friend, and you know the identities of the two men, "Reagen said.

"Good, Sir. You should also be careful, and hopefully the Madam will recover soon." Frans said goodbye and hung up his phone.

"What's wrong? It seems serious." Zenaya looked at the anxious husband who looked a little riled up.

"Just trouble at work." Reagen answered as he approached his wife. The man clasped Zenaya's hand and stroked her gently.

"It's so boring to lie in bed all day" Zenaya lamented shortly afterwards. Even so, the look of his face looks mediocre, inversely proportional to his words.

"It's even been a day. You've got to stay this way for two weeks." Reagents laugh little.

Zenaya smiled knot. "Anything I'll do to keep him healthy." The woman stroked her stomach gently.

The man's eyes were bulging as his hands suddenly felt a small movement inside there.

"This ... what?" ask the Reagents to Zenaya.

"He is greeting you" replied Zenaya.

"Could you?" ask Reagents again.

Zenaya laughed a little. "Of course you can." The woman led her husband's hand to the other side of his stomach.

Dugh!

"God! He kicked?" Laughing reagents. His face looked amazed.

However, the husband's face suddenly turned worried.

"Why?" ask Zenaya when she realizes it.

"He kicked in from inside there. Are you in pain?" ask Reagents to worry.

Zenaya shook his head. "Not at all." A sweet smile on his beautiful wife's face. "I'm just happy, because that means, he's fine there." Reciprocity.

"You're right." The reagent now sticks an ear to Zenaya's stomach. He talked a little while giving a warning, so as not to be too excited so that the mother still feels comfortable.

While they were busy chatting, suddenly the sound of knocking on the door sounded later.

David peeked into the room from behind the door he half opened. The man held up a bag full of fruits in front of Zenaya and Reagent.

Reagents who had looked so happy, now put his face as flat as possible. The man even looked at David who pretended not to realize the creepy air of his friend's husband.

"Can I come in?" david Pinta.

"No!"

"Can."

Zenaya and Reagen answered almost simultaneously.

David grimacing. "So, am I advancing or retreating?"

Zenaya laughed a little. "Come in." The woman invited David to go inside, after giving the husband a warning look first.

"Thank you" said David as he walked in.

He greeted Reagen first before asking about Zenaya's condition.

"I'm fine," Zenaya replied kindly.

"Thank God. Events like this can reoccur, so, you should think about taking a sabbatical until giving birth later," proposed David later.

"Yes, I was thinking about it" said Zenaya.

David nodded his head.

They chatted for a moment (just exactly Zenaya and David, while Reagen chose to sit on the sofa watching them from there), before David said his farewell because the break was over.

"You why?" zenaya asked as soon as she saw Reagen still sitting quietly on the sofa. The man did not move from there at all even though David was gone.

"I still don't like that guy."

"Yes, I know." Zenaya smelled a smile.

However, Reagen can feel that David is a much better man than Alex.

Natalie walks slowly next to Adryan. Last night, Adryan told him about what happened to Zenaya. In the past, Natalie would probably laugh happily if she got such news, but not at the moment. The beautiful woman even inspired to take Adryan there. Therefore, they are now walking towards the treatment room of Zenaya.

However, the closer the room was, Natalie felt increasingly unprepared. I don't know why he wants to go home right now.

Adryan, who noticed Natalie's anxiety, held her hand tightly.

"Don't do this, it's not good to see your sister." Natalie tries to break away from the man's hand.

"He knew first." Adryan smile.

Natalie thought what Adryan had just said was a lie. But in fact, when they entered the treatment room of Zenaya, the two younger brothers immediately looked at her with a seductive look.

Reagents even congratulated Natalie for having a much better man than her.

Natalie who was originally awkward and burdened, now feels more relaxed. The woman was even able to chimed in some of the jokes that Adryan made.

It has been a week since Zenaya was admitted to the hospital. During that time, Reagen chose not to come to the office and gave all his duties to Frans and his older brother, Noah, to take care of his wife.

However, since last night Reagents have been unable to contact Frans. The man didn't even come to the office when Reagen tried to ask him over the phone.

"Where is he?" muttered Reagen while staring at his phone screen anxiously.

Judging from Frans background, Reagents actually did not need to worry about the man. But still he could not shake his anxiety. Moreover, the attack carried out by unknown people on Frans, occurred up to twice.

First Frans was in his apartment, and second when he just returned from the office.

" Frans still can't be contacted?" ask Zenaya.

"Yes." Yeah." Answer the Reagent with a huffed look.

"Maybe he's on a sudden business." Zenaya tried to calm the Reagents heart.

"Hopefully." Reagents approached Zenaya and gently kissed the woman's lips. "You're really gonna be okay if I stay?"

Zenaya reviewed the smile. "Go."

"Call me if you need anything, okay?" Reagen looked at Zenaya deeply.

Zenaya nodded her head.

Before reaching the office, Reagen accidentally stopped by Frans' apartment first to check on her condition. However, Frans' apartment looks completely uninhabited. From the information of some security people, Frans was still in his unit until this morning.

There was nothing suspicious about the man. Even Frans still had time to greet them when he left for the office this morning.

After leaving the apartment, the new Reagent went to his office to meet Noah.

"Security of his apartment said that they still had time to exchange greetings with Frans who would go to the office" said Reagen.

"Something's wrong." Noah looked at the serious Reagent. "Honestly to me, has anyone been bothering you lately?" tanyanya.

Getting such a question, Reagen's mind went straight to Alex.

The man had indeed never again encountered Zenaya, as if it had disappeared. However, that was precisely the main suspicion of the Reagents.

"I suspect someone, but I don't have any evidence" replied Reagen.

"We wait until tomorrow. If Frans still can't be contacted. We'll call the police."

Reagen nodded his head. The man tried to calm himself.

Although the two had not known each other for long, Reagen had felt very close to his secretary.

Zenaya was fast asleep when a man suddenly walked into her treatment room without a sound. The man stepped in and slowly approached Zenaya's bed.

He stared at the pregnant woman's body lying down with a thick blanket stretching all over her body.

The soft caress he gave Zenaya's hair made the woman slightly piqued, but did not wake up.

He smiles. "Zen, I miss you" he whispered right in Zenaya's ear.

The man remained in the same position for a while, before then bringing his face closer to Zenaya's face.

Suddenly, the door of Zenaya's room opened wide.

"Zen, I brought you ... Doctor Alex?" David stood in the doorway lifting up a box of Zenaya's favorite cookies.

At first glance David can catch the cynical eyes that are present in Alex.

"Mrs. David. Zenaya is sleeping." Alex raised his index finger towards the mouth. Gesticulating David not to act stupidly in that place.

"Ahh, so it looks." David approached them. "Which way does the doctor need?" ask the man while putting the cake on the nightstand.

"Just look. I just got here, and it turns out he's sleeping" Alex replied with a casual look. The man did not show any strange attitude at all.

"Oh, I don't know if you have any affinity with Zenaya." David looked at his smile.

"Yes, it's just a coincidence. Then, excuse me first." Alex throws a friendly smile and leaves the room.

"She's gone" told David after confirming that the man had stayed away from Zenaya's room.

Hearing David's words, Zenaya opened her eyes and cried sobbing.

Actually, the woman had not fallen asleep at all. So, she could still feel how the whispers and caresses Alex gave her.

David himself caught Alex when he was about to pass through Zenaya's room. The new doctor looked like a thief who turned to and fro, before entering the treatment room of Zenaya.

Intrigued by Alex's actions, which raised suspicion, made David decided to go in there.

"Sstt, it's Zen, you're safe now." David patted Zenaya on the shoulder to calm her down. The man also helped Zenaya to raise his bed a little.

After Zenaya calmed down a little, David would not want to ask why the woman was crying.

Zenaya who did not want to make bad rumors only said that Alex had expressed his feelings in a way that was quite extreme.

"What kind of an order?" asked David curiously.

"I can't explain it. It made me remember it again." Zenaya.

David took a breath. "All right, I'm not gonna force it. Most importantly, you're safe now. I'll ask Grace to accompany you here, or you can call your family."

Zenaya nodded her head. "Thank you, Dav" he said.

"Either. Then I'll go first."

"Dav," called Zenaya. "please, don't say anything to my husband. I don't want her to flutter," asked the woman.

"alright. He dares to throw away my coat. Of course I can't imagine what he's going to do to that guy" the man said humorously.

Zenaya won't laugh.
