Zenaya's remorse

Chapter 5: Changes in Attitude.

Reagents had just gotten out of his car when they saw Zenaya enter the school building. He refused to go to Zenaya at all, and chose to walk far behind the girl.

Seeing the look on Zenaya's face that looked very excited even made Reagen feel fed up. His heart was completely untouched by Zenaya's kind attitude.

The man actually does not want to be involved in a romance story like other teenagers. Parental demands require Reagents to prefer a focus on their education. However, thanks to a silly idea that Xander uttered some time ago, making Reagents have to fall into their game.

Somehow the story, Reagen suddenly declared losing the bet and must be willing to do the orders of his three friends. She was asked to date one of the unknown students for a semester, and should always be by her side no matter what.

The Reagents refused. Who wants to date someone unknown? However, the three of them were not out of sense. In order to smooth their plans, Leon had the heart to confiscate one of Reagen's luxury cars as collateral, so that he wanted to do the game.

Instead of being happy with it, Reagents actually feel uncomfortable. A girl in love is the most annoying thing to her. They will continue to approach like parasites and will not give up even though they have been rejected many times.

The same is true of Zenaya. Therefore, Reagents were determined to get away from him slowly. To hell with the ridiculous rules of his three friends, the most important thing is that he carried out yesterday, when he drove the girl home.

The reagent stopped not far from Zenaya, when the girl came across the girls who were sniffing at the time.

Zenaya breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed, he already looked even more resolute than before.

The man no longer took the time to just accompany Zenaya to rest. He also never invited Zenaya to practice basketball again. The only communication they do is through short messages.

Not resistant to the attitude of Reagents, Zenaya had tried to ask this question. However, Reagen would only reply, that he was busy preparing for the basketball game that would be held tomorrow.

Despite having received a direct answer from the Reagents, Zenaya remained dissatisfied. He felt the Reagents reason was just making things up. After all, if she was so busy that she could not accompany him, why did Natalie even get closer to the man? Zenaya has twice caught them together in the classroom corridor or on the basketball court.

In order to dispel his curiosity, Zenaya decided to meet Reagents as per tomorrow's match.

The atmosphere is inversely proportional to Zenaya. The girl looked very moody and uninspired.

"What's up, Zen? You're usually excited to watch Rey compete." Grace nudged Zenaya's shoulder a little hard.

"It's okay. I'm just a little nervous" Zenaya said. He was reluctant to make his three best friends worry.

"Just calm down, our team will definitely win again. Kan, there's Rey," Alice timps with a seductive look.

Zenaya smiled stiffly.

Throughout the game, the girl tries to enjoy Reagen's basketball game. However, bad thoughts are not able to get out of his mind. Moreover, Reagen was completely reluctant to return Zenaya's eyes, even though he was certain, the man saw himself in the audience stands.

The match ended in their school victory, four times in a row.

Zenaya returned a wave of their hands, before going down the corridor to the players' locker room.

"Congratulations, Rey." Zenaya's steps suddenly stopped when she heard the voice of a girl calling the name Reagen.

"Thank you."

At the end of the corridor, in front of the dressing room, Reagen is seen standing with Natalie. The man seemed to have finished changing clothes, and was about to leave with the girl.

Zenaya's heart was numb, as Natalie attentively tidied the Reagen's strands of hair, and also helped her roll the man's shirt sleeves up to the elbows.

Judging from any side, both of them did seem very harmonious. A handsome reagent, alongside the beautiful and graceful Natalie.

As much as possible Zenaya held back her tears. His intention to encounter the Reagents evaporated instantly. He no longer needed answers to his questions all along. The sight just now was enough to give the girl an answer.

"Zen," call Natalie.

Zenaya who had turned around left immediately stopped her steps.

"Yes, Zen, it turns out!" sahut Natalie who caught up with Zenaya.

"Ah, Natalie," said Zenaya, pretending to be surprised. She didn't want Natalie to catch her sad face.

"You're going to see Rey, huh?" ask Natalie without further ado.

"I'm looking for a toilet." Zenaya replied lying.

"Oh, so." Natalie turned her head towards the Reagen who was standing not far from them. "Next time, Rey? You'd better take Zenaya home first" the girl asked.

"Don't. You have an appointment, right? So just keep going. I'll go home by myself." Zenaya, who felt bad, rejected Natalie's proposal.

Natalie was silent for a moment. "Then we have dinner together. Reagents took me to eat at one of our restaurants. You coming, Zen?" The girl looked at Zenaya with a pleading gaze, as well as looking at Reagen.

"Just give it up." Reagen replied as he walked away from the two girls.

Natalie smiled happily. Without waiting for Zenaya's approval, he pulled out his hand and caught up with the Reagents.

Zenaya could only fall silent as Natalie chose to sit next to the Reagen. The man did not ask himself, in fact, the lover, to sit together in the front seat. As a result, he sat in the back seat with a stack of equipment and a Reagent bag.

Zenaya really regretted coming to dinner with them. The reason, the girl felt like a bully who was present in the middle of dating a couple. If Natalie hadn't told him to talk, Reagen wouldn't have involved her in their light talk.

Zenaya's heart was torn apart. Not wanting to be tormented for longer, he decided to leave first.

At first, Natalie tells Reagen to drive Zenaya home, but the girl rejects her violently.

"My house is close from here, so I'll just take a cab." Zenaya smiled kindly.

"Well, I'll see you tomorrow, Zen" Natalie said.

Zenaya nodded and left the two.

Secretly Natalie pulled the corner of her lips slightly. "Feel that!" he murmured in the heart.

In the taxi Zenaya was crying. Reagents attitude really left a gaping wound on his heart. The man was completely reluctant to make eye contact with him, and would immediately avoid if Zenaya threw a friendly smile.

"What am I wrong?" zenaya muttered sobbing.
