Zenaya's remorse

Chapter 81: Inner Bonds.

Adryan, Bryan, and Natalie accompany Reagen in his treatment room. This morning, the man will perform surgery with a Neuroendoscopy procedure, which is to make a small hole in the head to insert a device called an endoscope. The device consists of a long tube and is equipped with a camera that can connect with a monitor in the lens of the eye worn by the surgeon.

Through the endoscope, doctors can look at the inside of the brain to find the location of a malignant tumor. At the end of the endoscope there are also pliers and scissors that can be used by doctors to remove some tumor cells in the head of the Reagent.

The cell cannot be lifted completely, because it has spread to nearby tissues that are difficult to reach. Therefore, after completing the surgery, he will do radiotherapy using x rays or protons to kill the remaining tumor cells.

The three were staring at Reagen who seemed to be receiving a call from his wife. Every now and then, the Reagen even chuckled in response to Zenaya's long babble.

"Alright, Mrs Walker," Reagents replied when Zenaya returned to give her simple tips.

Reagents also did not forget to tell Zenaya not to worry about him, because in the future he will not be able to receive calls, and can only send messages, he said, both men will be busy.

Reagents hung up on her phone first. The man stared at his phone screen for a while, before finally handing the object to Bryan.

During the course of treatment, Reagen may not be holding his phone. Therefore, Bryan was the one who was in charge of replacing him later. The man asked Reagen to reply to all of Zenaya's messages, as if it was him.

Moments later, two nurses re-entered the room and took the Reagents away. Adryan, Bryan, and Natalie followed them from behind.

"Don't think of anything. You'll be fine" Adryan told Reagents about to enter the operating room. They stopped there for a moment.

Reagen nodded his head. "I'm taking Zenaya, brother." A soothing smile was imprinted on the handsome face of the man.

Adryan grasped the Reagen's hand and patted it gently.

The reagent then switches to Bryan. They hugged each other to strengthen.

"Be aware that you're not coming back to us in there!" threatening Bryan.

Smiling reagents. "Good, brother."

Natalie was already drenched in tears when Reagen then looked at her gently. The man even wiped away his best friend's tears while calming him down.

"You can't die! I'll turn around to hate you forever if you leave!" exclaim Natalie while sobbing.

Reagents laughed a little, they embraced like a friend.

Natalie was still holding Reagen's hand when the man was pushed into the operating room.

Their handrails slipped off as Reagents left.

Adryan embraced Natalie's body and patted her. He is not at all jealous of the interaction between the two, because the man knows very well that Natalie's feelings for Reagen are no longer the same as they used to be. Although it might still be left, Adryan could understand. Loving someone doesn't take long, but forgetting it takes all your strength.

Zenaya who was sitting in the garden gazebo alone, surprised by the arrival of Adryan. The man immediately approached his sister as soon as he heard from one of the maids, that Zenaya was in the park, when he had just arrived home.

The man carried a blanket that was directly attached to the sister's shoulder.

"The nights are very cold, you can get sick" said Adryan, sitting next to Zenaya.

"Thank you, Brother. Brother's home yet? How was it today?" ask Zenaya while commenting on a smile.

Adryan was silent for a moment. "As usual. Nothing special" he replied lying. He couldn't have said that he'd been accompanying the Reagents all day in St. Maria Hospitals.

"Zen," call Adryan. His eyes looked at the sister's face deeply.

Zenaya who was busy playing some baby breath flower stalks she picked, turned her head towards Adryan.

"May you ask me something?" ask Adryan later.

"Ask what, brother? It seems so important." Zenaya frowned, a little surprised by the look of the brother's serious face.

"No. Brother just wants to know, how deep do you feel about Rey?" Adryan smiled faintly.

Zenaya swung her legs while looking at the quiet night sky from the cluster of stars.

"If it were to be measured, I myself could not know for certain. Everything just went right after I lived with him. The hatred and tears that once ruled me were slowly being eroded. I don't know when exactly that happened." Zenaya answered at length the brother's question.

The woman then looked at Adryan. "What's the matter, brother? I don't usually ask sensitive things like this."

"none. Brother wants to know. Your relationship, right, didn't start with anything good. So I hope you can live a healthy and happy life." The man's hand was raised to stroke Zenaya's stomach.

"I hope, Big Brother can also take it well this time," Zenaya pinta.

Adryan widened his smile a little. "Originally she can be a submissive sister, no problem!" clawed.

Zenaya laughed a little. "However, there is one thing that slightly disturbs my mind, sister," said the pregnant woman.

The woman complied and followed the older brother from behind.

Bryan was sitting languidly alone on the floor of the corridor close to the ICU room.

The 30-year-old man's eyes looked wet. Not to mention, his chest felt extremely tight.

In both hands Bryan there is a cellphone, and a black wallet belonging to the friend who had been tucked away. Bryan pecked, as he looked at the wallpaper attached to the Reagen's phone.

His best friend turned out to use his wedding photo as a cellphone wallpaper, and not only that, when Bryan opened his wallet, the first thing caught sight of Bryan was, a picture of the baby's ultrasound clearly displayed there.

Ting! Ting!

The Reagent's phone suddenly sounded.

Bryan hurriedly opened it and read the short message he had just entered.
