Chapter 14: Fiancee?

A beautiful woman dressed gracefully was seen running down the hospital lobby. He got into the elevator with some visitors and nurses who happened to be open.

"Please, fifth floor" he asked one of the visitors standing near the entrance. His eyes stared anxiously at the elevator monitor screen, hoping to reach the floor he was headed to.

As the elevator stopped on the fifth floor, the woman quickly barged out of it.

"Where's Aaron Walker's Reagent room?" ask the woman when she gets to the nurse station.

A flabbergasted nurse looked at him, then pointed at the luxurious passageway that was to the left of the woman.

"Hey, it's Natalie, right?" ask the nurse to her friend.

The girl who was spoken to nodded her head while looking at Natalie's departure.

Without thanking Natalie immediately ran towards the hallway that the nurse meant.

There are several treatment rooms there, and one of them is the treatment room occupied by Reagents. Natalie's eyes widened when she found Reagen standing next to her bed with support on Bryan's arm.

"Rey!" yelled the woman.

Reagents looked towards the door. "Natalie," she said kindly.

Natalie immediately ran and hugged the man to the point of making him almost stagger.

"Ups!" Reagents with sprightly restrain Natalie's slender waist.

"You're home from filming?" ask friendly Reagents.

Natalie looked at the Reagents from head to toe. He had no intention of answering the question the man had asked.

"How are your feet and hands? Are you really okay? Why are you being treated in the VVIP room? To my knowledge, this hospital has a President Suite room. The service is definitely much better!" The woman strafed the Reagents with all sorts of questions.

"Wow, relax girl. Rey had just finished therapy and had to rest" Bryan said.

Small smiling reagents. "In any class, the service will be the same" he said softly. "and you can see that I'm almost a hundred percent fine."

Natalie nodded her head and re-embraced Reagen, before finally helping the man to lie down on the bed.

Natalie who now works as an actress is busy with various activities. The woman had even just landed after ten days of filming outside the city. Therefore, he was only able to meet the Reagents.

Bryan himself was just as busy as Natalie. The lawyer is focusing on a major case that occurred in one of the government sectors.

The three then chatted casually about the condition of the Reagents. Thankfully the man was scheduled to be allowed to go home the next day, and only had to undergo outpatient and physiotherapy four times a week.

According to Dr. John, the recovery period of the Reagent body is quite fast. Though the doctor had estimated, that it takes three to six months to be fully healed. However, only two weeks Reagents have been able to walk a few steps. If this continues, it is not until two months that the man may have been able to reactivate.

Knowing this good thing, Reagen also urged the father to be able to immediately work after he returned from the hospital. Although it had to remain in a wheelchair for a while, it did not hinder the Reagents' intentions at all.

Bryan could only shake his head. His friend is known as a workaholic. Bryan even said that Reagents may just stop working if they fall into a coma or die.

"Truly ..just coma and death can make you stop thinking about work" said the man sadistically.

Reagents laughed, while Natalie rebuked him loudly while throwing a tissue box at Bryan.

Bryan shrugged his shoulders, seemingly indifferent to Natalie's attitude.

While chatting, Grace came to the Reagents room. Almost every day before lunch, the woman was always around to see her patients, even though it was outside visit time. That was why he became one of the idol doctors in this hospital.

"How are you, Mr Reagen?" ask Grace formally. Although the two were friends during High School, still Grace had to be professional. What else when there are others.

"Rey only, Grace," Reagents pinta.

Grace glanced at Bryan and Natalie.

As if understanding the meaning of Grace's gaze, Reagen smiled. "You know them" said the man, turning his eyes to Bryan and Natalie. "Bryan, Natalie, Grace was one of the doctors who treated me. You must have known him" said Reagen.

Bryan scrunched his forehead, looking closely at Grace's appearance from top to bottom, while Natalie looked at the woman coldly.

"Bryan?" Grace was no less surprised. His eyes then rolled on Natalie. "Natalie?"

Natalie smiled coldly. "You know me." The woman folded her hands on her chest.

Grace vowed to beat the woman with a stethoscope around her neck.

Who did not recognize the famous actress, and she regretted herself who had greeted the arrogant woman first.

Bryan tries to distract Grace and asks the woman not to take a dizzy look at Natalie's attitude.

The atmosphere that had been tense for a moment melted because Bryan invited them to have a casual conversation. Just Bryan, Grace and Reagen were talking to each other, while Natalie was more than happy to watch Reagen while occasionally staring at Grace cynically.

In her heart, Natalie never thought she would meet Zenaya's best friend, Grace. He knew very well that this hospital belonged to the Zenaya family, but being able to meet old friends, especially Zenaya's best friend made him feel very uncomfortable.

"At noon, ma'am," said Adel when Zenaya arrived at the VVIP aisle nurse station.

Zenaya smiled as she answered the greeting. "Where's Dr Grace? I searched his room, but he wasn't there" he asked later.

"Oh, as always, ma'am, Grace's doctor is seeing her patients. He is now in a VVIP class" the nurse replied.

Zenaya thanked him and walked into the hallway of the special VVIP class. The fifth floor was indeed reserved specifically for the top maintenance class. In the hallway he entered was now a VVIP class, while the reverse direction was a President Suite class.

Usually Grace would always come to Zenaya in her room at lunchtime, but now she took the initiative to meet her best friend first.

Zenaya stopped her steps as soon as she saw the small signboard that was in front of one of the doors of the room.

Along with that, there was the sound of Grace and some people there were talking.

"You're looking more and more beautiful, Natalie. It's an honor for me to meet a famous model here" Grace said.

Zenaya. He could not forget the name that his best friend had just mentioned. Zenaya peeked slightly from behind the small glass embedded in the door. Besides Grace, there was also a beautiful woman and a handsome man who was there.

No need to analyze more deeply, he can already guess who the woman who is with Grace. Understandably, Natalie is often wara-wiri on television, so it's only natural that Zenaya immediately recognized her.

"Of course." Natalie smiled haughtily. Grace replied with the same face.

Not wanting to face the woman longer, Grace decided to say goodbye to them.

"So, my fiancee's really fine, isn't she, Dr Grace?" ask Natalie while emphasizing the word 'my engagement' to her.

The question that Natalie asked immediately made Grace surprised. Zenaya who heard the question from behind the door was also no less surprised by Grace.

Suddenly, Zenaya's hand felt cold after hearing the Reagent's name coming out of Natalie's mouth. Apparently, Natalie's wait all this time was not in vain. They are now engaged.

A trace of uneasy feeling was present filling the niches of Zenaya's heart. A wide variety of questions were present in his mind at this moment, especially regarding the attitude of the Reagents when meeting him a few days ago.

Zenaya clenched her hands. Reagents have not changed.

Too sick of being there, he decided to leave the room.

Grace walked out of the room a moment later. The woman didn't know what to react to when she heard Natalie's words about her relationship with Reagents. But clearly, anger seemed to be emanating on the beautiful face of the woman.

"I love her, Grace!"

The words that were once expressed by Reagents are now like nonsense. Why does the man confess his feelings if he is currently engaged to another woman?

For a long time, Reagen had never loved Zenaya. Her feelings during this time were not love as she saw it, but just a lump of guilt over what had happened ten years ago. Luckily, Zenaya never responded to the man. Otherwise, his best friend would be hurt again.

Grace won't let that happen. He gritted his teeth while vowing to beat up the Reagents if they met outside the hospital.
