THE RISE OF THE DRAGON.

97. BE ATTACKED.

“It's not a dragon.” says Void.

He knew what Ui Yong Jiang was thinking, but he was sure it was not a dragon. Even though he had never seen or come into contact with a real dragon before, it was,

as a unique magical beast, he knew a few things about high-class magical beasts.

Right now, Ui Yong Jiang leaned his back against the wall, Void was also in the same position, as well,

and they both stared at the creature vigilantly. They could feel an intimidating aura from him, though,

and knowing that the creature had lived for hundreds of years, and perhaps even thousands, they were very wary of it.

‘This isn't it? Then what is it?’ asked Ui Yong Jiang.

The creature was currently staring viciously at the two, and from how his eyes shone, Ui Yong Jiang felt he would attack them in the near future.

‘I have to repeat my statement to help you understand better, it is not a dragon, not yet.’ said Void.

‘Wait, I don't understand, it's not a dragon, but you mean it's a dragon?’ Ui Yong Jiang asked, a little confused by what Void said.

‘Yes, actually, it has to go through an evolutionary process if I'm not mistaken.

It was not originally a dragon, but several other reptiles. My best bet is that it is a lizard.’ Void speculated.

He did not know what kind of lizard it was before, but he was at least sixty percent sure it was a lizard.

‘Evolution?’ Ui Yong Jiang was further confused by what Void was talking about.

He had never heard of any magical beasts going through the process of evolution, not to mention lizards evolving into dragons.

‘Yes, evolution, and from the looks of it, it actually failed in the process.

You see, high-class magical beasts are undergoing evolution. I will also evolve someday.’ Void said proudly.

‘High class magic beast? You're making me even more confused.’ Ui Yong Jiang felt his head turn.

‘How do you know about all this? You know what, forget this for now,

all we have to worry about is how we deal with this guy’ Ui Yong Jiang brings Void back to the problem at hand.

‘How can I know it?’ Void without understanding replied.

‘But you were the one who spoke about high-class magical beasts a moment ago.’ said Ui Yong Jiang.

“It doesn't mean I know how to deal with them.” Void retaliated.

Their conversation seemed long, but it only happened in a matter of seconds as it transmitted thoughts much faster than when speaking.

“Hai.” Ui Yong Jiang raised his right hand to wave at the creature.

Roars!

The creature lunged forward opening its mouth which had rows of razor-sharp curved teeth.

Ui Yong Jiang and Void rolled under the huge body of the creature.

“I think he likes you.” Void said cynically.

‘You think?’ Ui Yong Jiang sneered as he stood up and ran towards the tunnel.

The level of energy he could feel from the creature was extremely powerful. But what gave him a hint of hope was that the level of power that the creature emitted was actually still on the Origin Plane.

That was good news for both of them though as they could not fight it at full strength, even fighting it now was almost impossible.

Noticing Ui Yong Jiang and Void rolling under him when not looking at them, the creature raised its tail and swung it down violently.

Bang out!

Ui Yong Jiang who saw him while he was lifting his tail quickly shifted to the side to break away from his tail.

His tail hit the ground hard, causing a huge disturbance in the lab.

He peeked at the creature and was amazed by its size, he had seen the height of the creature before, but not its length.

Ui Yong Jiang estimated the length of the creature to be at least six meters, and its tail was also around that, if not longer.

Just as Ui Yong Jiang was about to reach the entrance of the tunnel, the creature

turning his large body nimbly and opening his mouth, and almost like a real dragon, he spouted fire towards Ui Yong Jiang.

‘Awas!’ Void was the first to sense the attack and directly warned Ui Yong Jiang.

Ui Yong Jiang looked back and saw a fire that was two meters wide coming towards him,

he quickly fell to the ground to avoid it burning him, rising.

The creature continued to exhale flames and when it saw Ui Yong Jiang dodging him, it led to him.

‘I thought you said it wasn't a dragon?’ Ui Yong Jiang asked as he ran to the left, trying to escape the flames that were actually chasing him.

‘Not, it's like a pseudo-dragon.’ Void said as she joined him.

‘Well, this pseudo dragon wants my life, our life! Can't you talk to him?’

Ui Yong Jiang panicked as he felt the heat coming out from the flames behind him.

Being a Fire Elementalist, he should not be afraid of fire. But he hasn't reached that stage yet,

also, even though he was a Fire Elementalist, his opponent's flames would still burn him, especially if they were stronger than him.

“You've tried it before.” Void replied.

‘Sial!’ Ui Yong Jiang looked back and could not help but curse.

The pseudo-dragon had been exhaling flames for nearly ten seconds, nothing stopped now.

Ui Yong Jiang created a wall behind him and jumped over one of the platforms in the lab, hiding behind it.

The explosion!

The fire struck the wall and instantly destroyed it, continuing forward and passing through the platform, but it could not destroy it.

Ui Yong Jiang who was hiding behind the platform saw flames running upwards, and both sides of the platform, but the flames did not touch him.

Five seconds passed before the pseudo dragon stopped exhaling flames.

Ui Yong Jiang's heart beat rapidly as he held onto the Void, he pushed himself to try to calm down.

Gasping for breath, he slowly got up and looked up at the platform, and surprisingly, the pseudo-dragon was gone.

“Where is it?” Ui Yong Jiang involuntarily exclaimed.
