196. JADE LIN'S DAD.

Knock it! Knock it!

UI YONG JIANG heard a knock on his door, and quickly stored the papers in his storage ring.

After saving it, he walked towards the door and opened it.

“Yeah, you're early.” He said with a smile.

“The head of the TAN family is here,” said the young lady gently before turning around.

“What a bitch,” murmured UI YONG JIANG slowly.

“What?” The young lady turned around and asked.

“Lead the way,” UI YONG JIANG said before walking out of the room.

The young lady gave a cold snort before turning around.

‘Void, how did it go?’ UI YONG JIANG asked as he walked behind the young lady.

‘Better than you think,’ replied Void.

‘Oh really, tell me about it.’ said UI YONG JIANG.

Void went on to tell him about the discussions GAK BUN BENG had with her daughter, as well as other things she did afterwards.

‘It seems that his fear of Master is true, at least it guarantees my safety. Where is he now?’ UI YONG JIANG asked.

‘In the office, accompanied by JADE's father LIN.’ VOID replied.

‘How efficient is it, he can call her this fast.’ UI YONG JIANG thought to himself.

A few minutes later, they arrived at the office after passing through several hallways in the villa.

Crunch!

The young woman opened the door to the office but did not enter.

UI YONG JIANG entered the office and closed the door after entering, almost slamming it into the young lady's face.

After entering, he looked around the office, GAK BUN BENG sat in his chair as usual, and a middle-aged man was seen sitting opposite him.

Both BUN BENG and the middle-aged man looked towards him when they heard the door open.

“You must be UI YONG JIANG?” JADE LIN's father asked as UI YONG JIANG walked in.

He had a serious expression, with a heavy voice that sounded like his expression, solemn. His blue eyes were the only similarity that UI YONG JIANG found with JADE LIN.

“Ya,” UI YONG JIANG nodded before walking over.

He could see JADE LIN's father was observing him as he stepped into the office.

“Parent BUN BENG said you want to meet me because of JADE LIN?” Dad asked.

“Ya Sir. I'm sure your daughter might be in danger, so I came to check on her to see if she's okay,” UI YONG JIANG explained.

“GIOK LIN is not in town. She went for a trip a few weeks ago.” JADE LIN's father said softly.

“Pak, can you tell me where he went? I know I shouldn't ask, but I have to make sure he's okay.” UI YONG JIANG said.

JADE LIN's father raised his eyebrows when UI YONG JIANG asked this, his expression telling UI YONG JIANG that he looked very angry with his question.

“TAN TEK DJUAN, answer him. He came all the way to the ICE CITY even though he knew the Emperor was looking for him,

“No. From what I found, it was he who obtained the treasure. Why is the Emperor looking for my daughter?” TEK DJUAN.

“I don't know, but if my guess is correct, the Emperor would have guessed I shared it with my friends.

I only have three friends, and your daughter is one of them.” UI YONG JIANG answered his question before BUN BENG had a chance to answer.

“Hmph! What treasure is this that even made the Emperor move?” TEK DJUAN grunting.

“That's something I can't say,” UI YONG JIANG shook his head.

“Then why should I trust you with my daughter's location? The thing is, I believe the Emperor will leave my daughter alone if I hand you over to her,” TEK DJUAN said as he looked coldly at UI YONG JIANG.

UI YONG JIANG's expression changed when he heard this. He never expected JADE LIN's father to be this difficult to contact.

“I'm not an enemy here, Emperor. Do you think the Emperor will let JADE LIN go even if he catches me?

He sees us as a threat, a threat to his supreme government,” UI YONG JIANG replied with a stubborn expression.

BUN BENG shook his head when he saw this, he already knew about TEK DJUAN's stubbornness, especially if it had something to do with JADE LIN.

From a TEK DJUAN point of view, telling JADE LIN's location would harm him because they were also looking for him.

That meant if the Emperor wanted to capture UI YONG JIANG, then he could obtain the location of JADE LIN from him.

“I won't tell you where he is, you should give up and leave ES CITY while you still can,” TEK DJUAN said calmly.

“I won't leave this city until I find JADE LIN, I don't care if you're the father or not,” UI YONG JIANG said.

There was not the slightest trace of fear in his eyes, only stubbornness, and determination. He has made his stand clear. Either you tell me where HE is, or I find out for myself.

BUN BENG looked at both sides before shaking his head, “TEK DJUAN, stop messing around with the boy's emotions. You can already see all he wants to do is make sure his friend is safe.”

“Please, can we have privacy? I want to ask him a few questions.” TEK DJUAN looked AT BUN BENG.

“Alright, but hurry. Anyway, this is my office,” BUN BENG stood up and left the office.

After BUN BENH left, TEK DJUAN focused its attention on UI YONG JIANG.

“What is the name of the treasure?” He asked again.

UI YONG JIANG looked at him but refrained from answering.

“If you want to know where JADE LIN is, then I advise you to tell me. I've asked this question too, but she refused.” TEK DJUAN.

Two minutes later.

TEK JUAN and UI YONG JIANG are seen walking out of BUN BENG's office. After going through the pros and cons, UI YONG JIANG decided to tell him the treasure.

He did not tell her the number they obtained, and to his surprise, TEK DJUAN did not ask.

TEK DJUAN had a look of disbelief on his face as he walked out, and BUN BENG guessed it must have something to do with the treasure.

“He will follow me to my family complex,” TEK DJUAN said as they walked past BUN BENG.

BUN BENG nodded without an answer.

“Thank you for your help,” UI YONG JIANG bowed to him as he walked over to him.

“Nothing,” BUN BENG wags it.

He watched as UI YONG JIANG left the villa with BUN BENG.
