44. BLUE FIRE.

‘It's like a human cultivation system, it's just that, unlike you humans, we have a rank, not a plane’, explained the cat.

“There wasn't much difference in the cultivation system back then. It was just a name change. That is, according to your ratings, you are in the Final Stage of the Arcane” Plane, Ui Yong Jiang said.

‘Arcane plane, is it the third plane for humans?’, ask the cat.

Ui Yong Jiang nodded.

‘Ya, you could say so’, said the cat.

“So, do you have a name?”, asked Ui Yong Jiang.

Other than what the cat told him, the only thing he knew about it was that it was male. And he only found out when he first learned it.

‘Void’, cat says.

“Avoid space? Who would call himself Void?”, Ui Yong Jiang chuckled.

He knew this was the name the cat had given himself.

‘That's a nice name, it fits perfectly with the amazing features of I’, Void said proudly as she stuck out her small chest.

Ui Yong Jiang laughed seeing how the little guy stuck out his chest trying to show his ‘feature’.

‘What's your name?’, Void asked after some time.

“Ui Yong Jiang”, replied Ui Yong Jiang

‘Ui Yong Jiang?

Ui Yong Jiang looked at Void speechlessly, shaking his head, he once again paid his full attention to the lotus.

“Time to upgrade”, she laughs lightly.

He desperately hoped to obtain a new element, his strength would not only increase but also his plane.

And there was a chance that he could obtain the rare blue flame that the expert spoke of.

This was not the first time he had heard of blue flames, compared to ordinary red flames,

it was almost twice as strong. It was like the black lightning that the crocodile he was fighting, it was stronger than the ordinary silver lightning he had.

He extended his hand towards the lotus, and the lotus suddenly opened. The lotus had nine petals, in the middle of which was a blue flame the size of a fingernail.

Ui Yong Jiang was surprised by how small it was, but he could also feel how powerful his energy was. Compared to the lotus, it was almost four times stronger.

Although if he were to become the one who purified the lotus, his strength would increase even further,

there was no harm in letting the little one take it, besides, he had taken the best treasure that was the flame. Also, from the looks of it, the little one will be living with him from now on.

Getting the green light, Void happily jumped towards the lotus, opened her mouth, and swallowed it instantly, like she was afraid that Ui Yong Jiang would change his mind.

He lay close to Ui Yong Jiang, glanced at him at a glance, and spat out a single petal that he slowly began to absorb.

‘It looks like this guy has somewhere he keeps things, but where? I will ask him after I break through’, thought Ui Yong Jiang.

He also entered into a semi-conscious state and started purifying the flames, even Void had already started cultivating, so why delay any further?

So, one human and one cat started cultivating.

While Ui Yong Jiang and Void were cultivating, things started to heat up in the ancient pathway.

The paths intersect with each other, so people start to meet as time goes on.

They had all been on this road for nearly five hours now, but still had not reached the end.

Some of them had obtained great treasures, such as rare plants, essence stones, elemental weapons, and even techniques, but most of the techniques were fire elements.

On one of the footpaths, a young man is seen running briskly towards what looks like a castle.

‘Here stronger’, thought the young man while staring at the castle.

That young man was none other than Tan Wen Yong. Ever since he entered the ancient path, he had not stopped for a minute and followed ‘call’.

From the moment he saw the light, he suddenly felt a call from her. This was why he rushed there as fast as he could.

Even after the lights went out for some time, he could still feel the call.

After entering the ancient path, he did not care about anything else and only focused on where the call came from. Now that he had finally found it, it was from this castle.

‘Why did he call me?’, Tan Wen Yong asked himself.

This was a question he asked himself over and over again, but he still could not find an answer.

“Eh! People fighting in front of”, a soft voice said.

The owner of the voice was Jade Lin, in front of him was the Dark Elementalist, and he was dealing with two young men. One in the Third Stage, and another in the Second Stage.

He had injured those in the Second stage, and was currently in a fierce battle against those in the Third stage.

The fact that he could fight against two people of this caliber and not only win but would kill them, was no less proof of how powerful he was.

Jade Lin originally had no plans to enter but taking a closer look, she recognized the two young men, they were from the Moon Academy.

Although he was still at the Second Stage of the Origin Plane, his actual strength was no weaker than the ones at the Third Stage, and he was even stronger than some of them.

Sensing others walking into the battle scene, the Dark Elementalist turned around and looked towards him.

“I will advise you not to interfere with this, little miss”, he said coldly.

“I do not interfere in the affairs of others. But you see, they're my friends”, Jade Lin smiled lightly as she walked towards the two young men.

Now it was three against one, even though one of the youths was injured, it did not mean that he still could not fight.

The Dark Elementalist looked at them with a cold gaze.

And the road became silent.

Jade Lin waited patiently for his decision, if he wanted to fight, then, he had no problem with it. He had never fought someone this strong, so it would be a test for him.

The two sides faced off without anyone showing any sign of retreating.
