173. EVERYBODY WANTS TO LEAVE.

Ui Yong Jiang and Ay Lie had awkward expressions while Mei ling and Void laughed out loud.

Ui Yong Jiang knew Mei ling was doing this on purpose, but there was no way he could scold her in front of Ay Lie.

“Oh, it's you, the mayor's son!” Ay Lie almost exclaimed.

The three spoke for a while before saying goodbye to each other.

On the way back to their home.

“I know you did it on purpose.” Ui Yong Jiang said as they walked.

“Do what?” Mei ling pretended not to know what Ui Yong Jiang was talking about.

“You ... I really don't know what to do with you.” Ui Yong Jiang shook his head in defeat.

“It's not my fault you misunderstood.” Mei ling said with a smile.

Ui Yong Jiang wanted to argue, but come to think of it, was it true that Mei ling misunderstood him? The answer is no.

“No, she's back alone.” Ui Yong Jiang said as he sat down.

“So, what's your plan now?” Mei ling asked after Reynolds sat down.

“I'm thinking of joining the imperial army. Not like you, though,

I don't have a good family background, so this is the best choice for me and my family. I also thought of being

an Instructor. This is why I want to go back home and discuss it with my parents.” Yong we said.

At his current age and cultivation, he could make a decision for himself. Sometimes, however, it's good to ask for advice from those older than you.

Once his parents told him what they felt was the right choice for him to make, he would analyze it as well.

“How about you?” Mei ling asked as he looked at Ui Yong Jiang.

“I haven't really made a decision.” Ui Yong Jiang smiled lightly,

“I think we better talk about this with Jade Lin too. It would be bad if he was not included in this conversation.”

“Yes, I have an announcement. We have to get there now.” Mei ling said, her playful smile that used to be gone.

Ui Yong Jiang's gaze turned into intent before nodding, just as they reached the door to leave Yong we's house.

“What's burning?” Ui Yong Jiang asked after sniffing the air.

“Nothing.” Yong we waved before trying to open the door.

Mei ling's previous serious expression was gone because she was laughing.

“Sial! My food!” Yong we exclaimed before running back to the kitchen.

The group went to Giok lin's place after Yong We threw away his burnt food.

“Why are you two laughing?” Jade lin asked after opening the door.

From Yong we's expression, he knew the other two were laughing at the cost.

Mei Ling then recounted how she had forgotten that she was cooking.

“At least he's trying, unlike you.” Jade lin comforted Yong we who raised his mood, just a little.

Mei ling suggested that they go to the Silver Moon Restaurant, the time she spent outside waiting for Ui Yong Jiang, and Yong we's efforts to prepare food made her want to eat something.

Yong We quickly agreed, Ui Yong Jiang had no problem with them going to the restaurant, nor did Jade Lin.

They were talking about what they had done in the past two days, and other than Ui Yong Jiang, the others were actually resting, including Jade Lin.

Ui Yong Jiang was the only one who immediately started learning something new.

The group soon arrived at the city gate, Lunar City was always crowded with activity, from the several carriages that entered the city, to,

Ui Yong Jiang practiced too much, and this made him somewhat antisocial. The only reason they could be friends with him was because they were friends with him

right after he came to the Academy. Even with that, they still did not meet him often.

After he took the first test, his entire life revolved around training. Other than learning about new things, he technically had no other hobbies.

“Come out, find more friends, see a lot of things. You can even decide to tour the empire now with your cultivation words.” Mei ling suggested.

“Yes, but we won't always be with you. Face it, there will come a time when we have to take a different path.

Not that we won't meet again, but not as often as we do now Mei ling said as the group headed to the Silver Moon Restaurant.

“Yes, you were right about that. I will think of something else, but for now, I want to focus on being a forcemaster.” replied Ui Yong Jiang.

Because of the experience he had after his first test, he made his goal even stronger.

After practicing every day for three years, she started to get used to that feeling, for three years, her mother was a person

The three exclaimed simultaneously, attracting the attention of several people on the floor.

“He resigned?” Jade lin asked.

“Ya.” Mei ling nodded.

“Wow, it was unexpected. Why, what happened?” Yong we asked.

“Well, I don't really know the details, he didn't tell me much.” Mei ling responded.

He knew the reason, but his father warned him not to tell anyone.

“Hmm, there must be something.” Ui Yong Jiang speculated.

“Ya, something that might be big.” Jade Lin nodded, agreeing with Ui Yong Jiang.

“Not that.” said Mei ling, drawing their attention back to her.

After successfully attracting their attention, “We will go as well.”

“Oh!” yang Ui Yong Jiang shouted.

“When did you leave?” Jade lin asked.

“I don't have an idea yet, but soon.” answers her.

The table became silent, Klaus did not know what else to say while the others were still trying to accept what was coming.

“Friends, it's not like I'm dying.” Mei ling joked when she saw their reaction.

“Ya, we will still meet again.” Yong We forced ourselves to laugh.

Ui Yong Jiang on the other hand laughed softly, a sad smile on his face.

“Come, we eat.” Mei ling said before eating her food.

After leaving the Silver Moon Restaurant, the group returned to the Academy, but not in a lively manner as they came.

“Do not join the imperial army. Also, do not become an Instructor, wait a few more years.” Mei ling suggested.

The Empire tried to control every Academy in the empire, there was no way he would allow his friend to

join them, at least not now as there is a war looming over the empire.

“Only those are my two choices.” Yong We said a little confused.

“Well, don't join any of them, for now. You are young, why rush?” Mei ling asked as she shrugged her shoulders.

“Alright, but I'm still going home. I miss my family.” Yong we nodded reluctantly.

He knew something was going on, and it had to do with the Academy, and the empire. He felt the impending alleged war had something to do with it.

Ui Yong Jiang and the others all returned to their homes after their conversation.

From his group, Ui Yong Jiang was a little sad that the others would return to their families, leaving him alone.

Had the teacher been around, he wouldn't have felt lonely, but now, he didn't know where the teacher was.

‘I think it's just me and you soon, buddy.’ Ui Yong Jiang said as he stroked the Void feather.

‘Do you not know where your parents are? We can go there.’ Void asked.

“No, no hint.” Ui Yong Jiang shook his head.

‘Why don't we go with Mei ling alone?’ Suggested .

“I'll think about it.” Ui Yong Jiang said as he looked up at the sky.

The bond she had with her friends was so high that she didn't really want to see them split up. He's not the only one who feels this way,

Later in the night, Ui Yong Jiang started training with the elements of wind, fire, and water. Training was the only thing he knew that could take his mind off many things, so he started practicing.
