93. MANY SKELETONS.

After ten minutes.

“Well, there is nothing in any room, it means there is a secret passageway in the hallway or in one of the rooms.”

ui Yong Jiang said.

He was currently walking out of the room at the end of the hallway, he had searched in another room and found nothing.

Normally, he would find a box or something right now.

“Can you try to at least estimate which area the treasure is in?” She asked.

Since he was unable to find anything in the room, it meant that the treasure was hidden somewhere in the room or hallway, or that there was a secret passageway in one of them.

Although the Void felt it while they were in the hallway, it was not precise enough, so there was a possibility that the treasure was hidden in the hallway or the room.

‘I don't think so, but I can try, maybe I can get an accurate position.’ Void replied after some consideration.

Ui Yong Jiang nodded and remained silent so as not to disturb Void,

this was the first fortune he would get in a long time, and he did not want to miss it.

Three minutes passed with both of them not making any moves.

‘I don't have anything.’ Void shook his head slowly.

He tried to get a rough location where the treasure was, but unfortunately, he could not.

‘Hmm, how about this, take me to each room once more, then I'll try to feel it. I should be able to know if it doesn't exist.’ He suggested.

Ui Yong Jiang could only nod and accept his suggestion, assuming that Void could sense if a treasure

or the hallway wasn't in any of the rooms he entered, it would save him precious time to search for that place.

He returned to the room he had just passed.

“Ac Here?” She asked.

‘No.’ Void replied after she used her spiritual senses to check the room.

“Ac Here?”

‘No.’

They continued like this until they passed through all the rooms, and surprisingly, Void did not feel it in any of the rooms.

“This means it's in the hallway.” Void said confidently.

Since he could not feel it in any room, all that was left was the passageway.

“Yes. What do you think the treasure is?” Ui Yong Jiang asked enthusiastically while slowly studying the passageway.

‘I have no ideas.’ Void replied.

They kept talking about what they might find while Ui Yong Jiang was studying the passageway.

Ui Yong Jiang stood outside the passageway for a while trying to sense if there was any hidden danger inside before he made any progress.

After waiting for a while and not feeling anything, he took a step forward.

When he stepped in, his nose was attacked by a foul smell, and he could not see anything.

He quickly created a fireball that floated in front of him, lighting the way for him.

When he took the first step down, he stepped on something loud that made a cracking sound, he looked at his feet and found he was stepping on a human skeleton.

Looking further, he realized almost half of the skeletal ribs were missing. He thought this might be the cause of his death.

Ui Yong Jiang increased his vigilance and slowly continued to walk further.

Before taking another fifty steps, he looked at another skeleton, this time the skeleton lost its entire head.

The Void's expression slowly began to turn serious the further they advanced. From what they saw, there was something here that killed everyone who entered this place.

By the time they passed the hundredth step, they had seen twelve skeletons.

“Can you see the pattern?” Ui Yong Jiang suddenly asked.

‘From what?’ Void looked around trying to figure out what Ui Yong Jiang was talking about.

“From how all the skeletons were positioned, it seems like everyone was killed as they climbed the stairs.”

Ui Yong Jiang pointed to the latest skeleton that had one hand in front, seemingly trying to crawl upwards.

‘Oh!’ Void exclaimed a little.

He really did not pay attention to how the skeleton was, all he knew were dead people, and nothing else.

“There is also a possibility that I was wrong, but we have to be extra careful because what killed them might still be here.” Ui Yong Jiang added.

‘Eh! Whatever it is, it should be dead by now. It is unlikely that all these people were killed at any one time the trial ground was opened because finding this passageway was very difficult.’ Void said.

While they were talking, they immediately got to the last step. There was a total of one hundred and fifty steps, and on that ladder, they saw a total of twenty-three skeletons.

In front of them was a tunnel that led further underground.
