THE RISE OF THE DRAGON.

THE RISE OF THE DRAGON.
208. IN TRAP.

UI YONG JIANG and SIAN LI entered the bamboo forest, once they entered, UI YONG JIANG spread his spiritual senses.

‘AIHHH I don't think it's here. But it's surprising, hopefully, that's not what this guy is looking for.’ UI YONG JIANG thought as he gazed into the forest.

Despite not finding the pool within his sense range, he could sense something else nearby. He didn't know exactly what it was, but he knew it wasn't simple.

When he sensed it, he remembered SIAN LI telling him that there was something here that he wanted.

“Do you know what location you are looking for?” UI YONG JIANG turned around to look at SIAN LI.

“Yes, senior. Follow me,” replied SIAN LI pleased before taking the lead.

UI YONG JIANG did not speak any further and followed behind him, he kept his spiritual senses just in case

if he could find a pool. His senses could not cover the entire bamboo forest, so he did not know if it was here or not.

As they walked further into the bamboo forest, UI YONG JIANG gained a clearer understanding

about what he felt before. It exuded an aura of water element. Although what he was looking for was a pond, this was not.

‘This might be what he was looking for. Why do I always have to get into so much trouble for the sake of others?’ UI YONG JIANG thought as he also sensed the aura of the people there.

The people there felt it too, so they probably expected it.

“Hey, stay alert,” He warns SIAN LI.

There was a chance that those people would attack as soon as they got there, so he felt it was better to warn SIAN LI beforehand.

“I know, senior, I can also feel it,” SIAN LI nodded.

UI YONG JIANG did not speak any further and continued to walk behind him nonchalantly, he occasionally moved his hands on the bamboo leaves.

After walking for almost three minutes, they arrived at where the treasure was.

Unfortunately, UI YONG JIANG did not find anything related to the pool he was looking for.

In front of them was a cave residence, UI YONG JIANG guessed it was man-made considering its appearance. It even had what looked like a door in front of it.

“What you are looking for should be inside this place,” UI YONG JIANG said.

He had heard about how some experts would stay in the Magical Beast forest, and this was the place

the first thing he saw. According to rumors, such a residence hid a lot of treasures.

‘People living here must be an Air.’ Elementalist He looks around.

He could not deny it, living in this bamboo forest would be very peaceful. Other than the occasional wild beast that would

annoying, it's not bad. As long as experts set up several arrays, they could stay here peacefully.

After engaging with the array and mastery of forging, UI YONG JIANG knew how important it was for one to remain in a peaceful environment. The better his surroundings were, the clearer he could think.

Thundering…

The stone door in front of the cave residence rolled to the left side.

Once opened.

Holy hooch! The explosion! Bang out!

Several attacks flew out from the cave of residence, directly towards UI YONG JIANG and SIAN LI.

Since both of them were already expecting this, they had no problem getting out of the way.

“Hehehe, if not Miss SIAN LI,” Mocking laughter sounded from the cave.

What UI YONG JIANG found surprising was what they called SIAN LI.

Although she thought she was a woman the first time she saw her, she did not think of calling her Miss anytime.

‘It looks like he is familiar with these people.’ UI YONG JIANG thought to himself.

But from the way they called out to him, he didn't think the chances of that happening would be high.

A middle-aged man was the first to walk out of the cave where he lived,

followed by four men and two other women. The seven of them were at the Eighth or Ninth stage of the Origin Plane.

“I don't think he'll make it here,” said one of the women, his voice a little sad.

It was almost like they did not want to meet him.

“This you guys!” SIAN LI exclaimed in shock.

“Of course it's us. Now, tell us, how did you get away from that bear?” The middle-aged man asked curiously.

“I was helped by this senior,” SIAN LI pointed at UI YONG JIANG, not even offended by the way the group spoke and spoke to him.

“Eh, wait, how did you guys know about that bear?” He suddenly thought of something and asked.

When he was first attacked by a bear, the group could not be found.

They were separated when they had just arrived at the bamboo forest, on the way to find them, she was unlucky and pulled the bear away.

“How can you be this stupid?” UI YONG JIANG, who was beside him, was unwilling to ask.

Even without interacting with these people, he knew they did not like SIAN LI. It is possible that they were the ones who caused the attack.

‘Wait, how could he survive escaping from a bear for such a long distance?’ He thought, confused.

Given the distance from here to where he was helping SIAN LI, it was almost impossible for SIAN LI to remain alive below

chase the bear unless he has the element of lightning or wind that will give him a boost in terms of speed.

Just like when he was about to get hit by a mole attack, UI YONG JIANG was confident in SIAN LI's speed, though,

there was no way he could avoid it. But for some reason, he managed to avoid it with a strand of hair.

“What do you mean, senior?” SIAN LI asked, his face showing pure innocence.

He did not understand why UI YONG JIANG asked him such a question.

“These people are obviously trapping you, but here you are, smiling on their faces,” UI YONG JIANG decided to show it to her.

“No, senior. They would never do something like that. If it wasn't for them, I would be dead,” SIAN LI explained.

UI YONG JIANG shook his head with a sigh, how could SIAN LI still be alive with his reasoning? Honestly, he doesn't know.

“And who are you?” The middle-aged man asked, turning his attention to UI YONG JIANG.

“A pedestrian,” UI YONG JIANG shrugged and moved to the side.

Since SIAN LI was being stupid, then there was no point in helping her, not only that, but she was suspicious of him. If this group kills him, then,

it would benefit him because he would get a chance to get whatever was here.

“Good, make sure to act like it, hmph!” The middle-aged man snorted before walking towards SIAN LI.

“Because you are here, why don't you help us collect items?” He placed his hand on SIAN LI's shoulder.

“What stuff?” SIAN LI asked, puzzled.

“Don't worry, you'll know when we get there,” the middle-aged man sneered while pushing SIAN LI towards the cave.

“Okay, there seems to be something you need as well. Why didn't you say it earlier?” SIAN LI asked as they headed into the cave.

UI YONG JIANG was the only one left outside.

‘Hmm, is she really naive, or could this be acting?’ He looked at the cave suspiciously.
