THE RISE OF THE DRAGON.

THE RISE OF THE DRAGON.
138. MEETING PRINCE.

There was a crater more than ten meters deep where the previous dragon stood, and the surroundings looked like a place that was

it had just suffered a strong bombardment because its ashes were flying everywhere, technically it was.

In the crater, can be seen the dragon lying on the ground. His transparent ice armor scale was completely destroyed, most of his body was charred.

However, none of the scales like his armor were removed. They were just charred, nothing else.

When he realized that the after-effects of the explosion had suddenly disappeared, he guessed it was the old man's doing.

He got up, staggered slightly before finding his footing, shook his body, and jumped out of the crater.

“He is really very strong.” the dragon praised before fixing his gaze towards Ui Yong Jiang and the fleeing Void.

Dragons are known to be arrogant creatures, and one of them is also very arrogant.

But he has a weakness, he likes to brag about things he has done or obtained.

That was one of the reasons why he had so many treasures.

Had the Void not taken the crystal and awakened it, if the group looked into the pond, they would have known, the treasure that was in the pond was dozens of times more than the one outside.

After recovering the dragon gave chase again and quickly chased after Ui Yong Jiang within forty minutes,

he immediately attacked, but unlike the other times, this time, he gave Ui Yong Jiang a lot of openings to try to see if he could see them.

The old man said it should train Ui Yong Jiang, and it would work. But it still beats him now and then.

Ui Yong Jiang was able to take advantage of some of the gaps and attack the dragon, but since he was still not experienced enough, he could not see everything.

The dragon occasionally let Ui Yong Jiang attack him and escape, before chasing after him after letting him rest for twenty minutes.

Ui Yong Jiang on the other hand did not feel strange as he felt the dragons might chase after them for wanting his crystal back.

Unbeknownst to Ui Yong Jiang, the continuous back and forth battle gradually increased the elemental essence in his body as he had to replenish it after each battle.

At this rate, it wouldn't be long before he would break through to the Fifth stage of the Origin Plane.

Another two hours passed, but due to the battle, Ui Yong Jiang was still more than two hours away from his companions.

He estimated that they had already reached the line by now since it had been over three hours. Even if they didn't get there, they wouldn't be far from it.

Unfortunately he could not use Fusion State anymore, so he had to run quickly.

An hour passed, and he was attacked by a dragon twice in that hour.

Compared to the first time, the dragon realized that the human seemed to be able to see more gaps.

Now, it would not take up to five minutes before Ui Yong Jiang could send out an attack

that would hold him for some time, allowing the two to escape.

Compared to Ui Yong Jiang, Void was faster at finding gaps, thus making work easier for both of them.

He was also the one who for some reason always got the hardest hit in every battle session.

In a valley, a few miles away from Ui Yong Jiang's current position.

Four young men were seen walking quietly near the river. They all wore dignified expressions as

they slowly spoke on their way except for someone who had a serious expression and seemed to be deep in thought.

“It's a pity that Cen xi died here, he's been so loyal to me all this time.” The young man leading the group said.

He was none other than the prince of the Qilin empire. Among his entourage was San Ken, as well as some surviving youths from the Royal Academy.

Their group of eight had been reduced to four. But they all feel lucky because they're not the ones who died.

“How are you so sure he died? Maybe there's a chance he's out after we go.” One of the two young men said.

“Hmm, there is also that possibility. After all, we all thought San Ken was dead too, only after seeing him did we realize that he came out first.” Said the second young man.

The young man named Cen xi in question was the young man from Starlight Academy that Ui Yong Jiang had killed in that secret place,

but there was no way for them to know this because none of them entered the place.

San Ken didn't say much and just kept walking in silence, the nearly six months he spent here had thought a lot about life.

He had come face to face with death several times, and on several occasions, he felt he would actually die.

But help will always come from unexpected people,

There was even a time when they planned to deal with Yong ma and Da mian who saved their lives

just because they didn't come on time. He felt their way of thinking was very childish.

He had always thought the people from the Lunar Academy were enemies, that was what made him believe by the Royal Academy.

But it looks like he was wrong, completely wrong. However, why would the Royal Academy say they were enemies if they really weren't?

His head was muddled with many questions, but there was one thing he believed in. It is not to repay good with evil.

Roars!

A sudden roar carried him out of his mind.

“What was that?” The twelfth prince asked as he looked behind them.

“I don't know, but I don't think it will come this way.” The first young man who spoke earlier said.

The others nodded and continued their previous steps.

San Ken on the other hand looked behind them more seriously. He didn't know why, but there was a voice in his head

who told him to run. Seeing the others walking, he continued as well but prepared himself to run.

In forest.

Ui Yong Jiang ran over quickly, he originally thought he was the type of person who enjoyed fighting.

But against the dragon, he was very tired. The fear of not knowing if he might be able to escape every time he fought against her made him not want to face her anymore.

He felt grateful that he had been able to escape all this time, but he did not know if he could escape when they met again.

There is also the problem of his friends. They'd be afraid to think he might be dead because he hasn't arrived.

‘There should be a valley there, it's faster than the normal route I plan to take.’ Ui Yong Jiang said as he pointed to his left.

He had studied the map properly and remembered most of the places that had to be passed when returning to where the array was.

Since he was in a hurry, he forgot about this valley. Only now did he approach her, he remembered her.

Without any further delay, he turned around and headed straight for the valley where the group of twelfth princes walked with the dragon on its tail.

Ui Yong Jiang immediately reached the beginning of the valley. Looking behind him, he could see the dragon getting closer and closer.

He charged straight into the valley, hoping to get out before the dragon caught up.

According to his estimation, taking this path would cut at least forty-five minutes from the time it took to get to the array.

“There are people in front.” Void is the first to feel the group.

‘Oh, they better not get in my way then.’ A cold glint flashed across his eyes.

He was already furious from the chase, if these people tried to delay him, he said,

he didn't mind making them regret it. Even at the expense of Aetonth to pursue him.

The figure of the group immediately appeared in front of Ui Yong Jiang.

San Ken who was walking behind the group looked back, and he was surprised when he saw someone running towards them.

He did not immediately see the dragon so he decided to look at that person properly.

The others noticed he stopped and also looked. Humiliation appeared in their eyes even when they had yet to see who that person was.

It didn't take long before San ken's expression changed. He immediately began to retreat.

“Come if you know what's good for you!” He said before turning around.

The twelfth prince caught his hand before he could escape.

“Why are you running, isn't that a boy from the Lunar Academy?” The twelfth prince asked.

“Yes, now let me go. Just for advice, when you see him running, you also run for your life.” San Ken brushed off the twelfth prince's hand and let go.

Ui Yong Jiang who was close to the group was shocked when he saw someone running, but he quickly recognized it was San Ken.

This was the third time he had met her while being chased, to think she would run away the moment he saw her running as well.
