167. RUNNING AWAY AGAIN.

“Hah!” A confused expression appeared on the mayor's face.

“No need to explain to you. If this news comes out, then our hard work for months will be in vain. You didn't think I'd come here

alone, right?” The young man smiled lightly before using the wind element to forcefully push the mud around him.

He floated a few feet into the air before landing on dry ground.

They needed years of research before they could successfully come up with something like this, but they lacked the means to increase the range of communication.

“Wow!” the mayor exclaimed, he was amazed by this.

This gives him more confidence that working with these people is the best option.

The Qilin Empire could not make something like this, well, there was nothing he had heard of.

“Let's go, they're supposed to head for the city wall.” The young man took a step forward before covering his feet with the elements

wind and moving at very high speed. The mayor barely saw it.

Of the other twelve people, there were two Wind Elementalists, one Lightning Elementalist, Four Water Elementalists, two Fire Elementalists, and three Earth Elementalists.

The Lightning Elementalist was the one who followed behind, before the two Wind Elementalists. Others are slower

because their elements are not the ones that drastically increase the speed of its users.

Outside the villa.

After Ui Yong Jiang left the villa, he dashed towards the east. The city gate is located to the south. He and the group had originally planned to stay at the inn

before leaving, but since they had been found, they had to leave the city as soon as possible. He ran from the mayor's villa to the nearest street.

Although it was almost midnight, Ui Yong Jiang realized the city was still active. People were walking back and forth on the street, and he could hear screams from some parts of the city.

‘Moving on the ground might delay me.’ He thought while rubbing his chin.

‘That's it!’

He jumped onto the roof of a nearby building and started running on it. The distance between each building is about five to ten meters,

this was something he could cover in one jump. He started moving from the roof to the roof, straight towards the city walls.

The city walls stood about twenty meters high. For Ui Yong Jiang and his friends, it was an easy matter.

It took him almost five minutes to get to the city walls. As he reached the wall, he jumped at it without much trouble, to find another waiting for him outside.

“So fast?” Mei ling who was currently leaning on her knees was stunned by Ui Yong Jiang's speed.

It had not even been up to a minute of them leaving the city, yet Ui Yong Jiang who was supposed to delay their opponent was already here.

If not for the trust he had in him, he would have asked if he had actually delayed them.

“Go!” Ui Yong Jiang did not stop.

The people from the Azure kingdom might have already reached the Fourth stage by now, he had no idea what their true strength was. All he knew was, it wasn't something they should have wanted to know.

Jade lin and Yong we immediately followed him. The breathless Mei ling could only complain inside before chasing after the group.

They soon disappeared into the woods around the city. Using the normal path was not a good idea as they tried to escape from their pursuers.

Five minutes passed before the young man from the Azure kingdom appeared above the city walls. This was the side that Ui Yong Jiang and his friends used.

“She is very fast.” Said the young man while staring at the direction Ui Yong Jiang and his friends were taking. It was almost like he saw them running in that direction.

He had already reached the Fifth stage of the Origin Plane, yet he was still unable to catch up to Ui Yong Jiang. This discovery made him dumbfounded.

The Lightning Elementalist was the next one to appear on the city wall.

“Tell them to stop them.” The young man turned to the Lightning Elementalist before jumping down from the city wall.

The Lightning Elementalist followed, right after they jumped off the city wall, two other Wind Elementalists appeared on the wall, before chasing after them.

Two lights flashed across the night sky, heading in the direction Ui Yong Jiang and his companions had taken.

In the forest, Ui Yong Jiang did not stop running in the slightest. Moments like this are moments she wishes she were alone.

Jade lin and Yong we were fast, but not to his level, Mei ling on the other hand was a bottleneck. Ui Yong Jiang really should

carry her on her back after they ran for two minutes. This made Mei ling excited as she did not have to bother running anymore.

“Faster you two.” He said while looking at Jade lin and Yong we who were behind them.

Yong we had the urge to beat him, while Jade lin had already planned how he would beat him once they escaped their current predicament.

Just when Mei ling was about to continue ridiculing the two for being too slow, she saw two flashes in the sky. His heart immediately sank.

“Bad news friends, two Elementalist Overlord Plane are coming towards us.”

“What?!” Jade lin, Ui Yong Jiang, and Yong we exclaimed in shock simultaneously.

“There is also the possibility of them being sent by those people, as a whole, we are doomed, or this is as I thought before, a coincidence.” She added.

“You didn't help!” Ui Yong Jiang and the others felt like beating him up.

How did he have the courage to say those words in their situation? If they are really pursued

by the Elementalist Overlord Plane, then they will toast! Who's kidding with that?

Ui Yong Jiang felt like slamming him to the ground, this man did not know when to shut up.

Jade lin and Yong we tried to increase their speed, but they had already reached their top speed. If they really

chased by the Overlord Plane experts, then no matter how much they increased their strength, they would not be able to escape.

He was the man that Ui Yong Jiang's mother assigned to keep him safe. When he first protected Ui Yong Jiang, he,

he rarely did anything, other than when he was helping when he was about to be killed.

However, ever since Ui Yong Jiang entered the trial ground, his life was no longer the same.

First, he was unable to enter the trial ground, which made him almost go crazy from fear.

He was sure if something happened to Ui Yong Jiang, Ui Yong Jiang's father might be lenient towards him, but his mother would definitely kill him without hesitation.

“What are you doing here?” The middle-aged man asked.

The strapping man hesitated for a moment before replying, “We are dealing with a small problem.”

“Oh! You mean that boy?” The middle-aged man pointed at Ui Yong Jiang and his friends who were getting away.

The middle-aged man interjected with both hands clasped behind him.
