159. DESSERT.

“Because this is the mayor's villa, there should be a treasury somewhere, that's where we will rob.” Mei ling explained in a low voice.

The others were dumbfounded by his bravery, even though they knew that no one here could defeat him

they, this was still a violation against the empire as every mayor was placed here under the orders of the emperor.

“Isn't there usually high-level experts around?” ask Giok lin.

A small town like this should have an expert who should at least be on the Origin Plane, in order to stop anyone from raiding these cities, he said,

or else, most Elementalist Origin Plane would see it as a way to earn free coins.

“There, why do you think I told this guy?” Mei ling pointed at Void.

“Nobody knows about the extraterrestrial element, except us. With that, he could sneak in and out of the mayor's treasury without getting caught.” He explained further.

“So, what do you plan to steal?” asked Ui Yong Jiang.

“Everything.” Mei ling said with narrowed and excited eyes.

He had never been able to do something like this before, and probably would never have thought of it, but with the appearance of the Void, the idea came into existence.

There were many things in the mayor's treasury, he knew this because he had been to one of them. But what they need most are coins, lots and lots of coins.

“Are you not too greedy? I mean, all we need is to get a horse and quickly head to Lunar City.

Once we get there, we should have no problem with earning money.” Giok lin said.

“I know, I just want to annoy these people.” Mei ling waved her hand indifferently.

“No, I think Jade lin is right. If they realize it's all gone, we'll be the first suspects.

It is not good for us because it involves not only the city but also the empire. Except, we're gonna kill that expert

placed here. The city is too small for an Overlord Plane expert to be placed here.” Ui Yong Jiang said as he thought.

They should not haphazardly invite trouble, the empire would not lie if one

their mayor's treasury was robbed. It has to do with their self-esteem,

so they wanted to settle it, especially now that war seemed to overshadow the entire empire.

“Good, we will only steal a few coins.” said Mei ling ferociously.

While the group was still talking about their plan of robbing the treasury, Long wei and San walked back to the table.

“I hope everything is okay?” Mei ling stood up to ask in a worried tone.

“Yes, everything is fine. He was just a little angry because of what happened today.” Long wei said before taking his seat.

“OK. Again, we apologize for what happened. It was completely unintentional in my path,

I don't really know about him.” said Mei ling, saying the last part in a low voice.

“Don't worry, everything's fine now. I'm not a petty person.” San shook his hand, he wanted to end the conversation as quickly as possible.

The table became silent for a few seconds, but Mei ling spoke up even before the time became one minute.

“Of course.” San nodded.

He was just about to start eating because it was the norm for the host to taste the food so that the guests

will know that they were not poisoned, but like wine, Klaus was the first to start eating.

‘Yeah, isn't that brave, or is he really stupid?’ He asked himself.

Everyone watched as Mei ling began to devour food like someone who had not eaten anything for months.

‘You just came from the inn, how can you be so hungry even after eating?’ Long wei looked at him strangely.

“You won't eat?” Mei ling asked with a mouthful of food.

Others could barely hear what he was saying through his mouth full, and pieces of food came out every time he said something.

Ui Yong Jiang and his friends immediately dug in as well, only, unlike him. Yong we also wanted to eat like that, but he was shameless like Mei ling, so he ate with proper etiquette.

They ate for almost twenty minutes, and this was the worst twenty minutes of San's life.

He did not think there would be another twenty minutes that would be as terrifying as this. The reason was simple, Mei ling.

As they ate, Mei ling would only speak when her mouth was full, thus spitting out a bit of food from her mouth.

What annoyed her was that since Mei ling was sitting nearby, she sometimes looked towards him while speaking. This means that little food that he

spray most of it on his body. Sometimes it even accidentally entered his mouth.

He almost fainted from anger!

‘How can one person be this thick?’ He wonders.

If Mei ling heard this question, most likely she would say, ‘It's a gift.’

San controlled his emotions so that he would not lose them a second time. As soon as he got Mei ling after they were given a special wine,

he will take revenge. He had so many evil things planned for him that he could not even wait to start the torture.

Right after they finished eating, Mei ling asked a question that even surprised her friends.

He first burped loudly without manners before asking, “So, what's the dessert?”

‘Disposal cover? You've eaten so much yet you asked for dessert?’ San felt like hitting him right then and there.

Hearing no answer, Mei ling explained thinking that they did not know what dessert was all the while

plucking teeth with her little finger, “Food cover immediately following after meal.”

“I know what dessert is.” San said with clenched teeth.

“Then why are you here? Chop chop, let's grab the dessert.” Mei Ling did a waving gesture with both her hands.

Looks like San is his servant.
