THE RISE OF THE DRAGON.

THE RISE OF THE DRAGON.
252. He's Just a Weak Man Who's Scared

The group once again began their journey after retrieving the bodies of Apes.

UI YONG JIANG and Void followed them like the first time, making sure to keep a good distance from the group.

Other than when they were fighting against the Apes, the rest of the journey was quite peaceful, they left the forest after six hours, towards the towering figure of the city far away.

UI YONG JIANG and Void immediately stopped following them as they looked at the city from afar.

There is no point in following the group anymore because they have achieved their goals.

UI YONG JIANG decided it was best to wait on the side for a few minutes,

waiting to make sure the group didn't notice them before they headed for the city themselves.

While sitting down, he suddenly recalled that he gave one of his tracking devices to SIAN LI.

He decided to pick it up so that he could find the direction SIAN LI was in, it would be easier to search for it that way after getting a map of the area.

UI YONG JIANG put down the device, sending his spiritual energy into it.

A small hologram appeared on it, with only two points of light visible. The dots were so small that it was almost impossible to see them.

One of the dots is at one end of the hologram, while the other is at the other.

“Wow! Scary distance! It would take me years if I tried to travel this distance on foot,” exclaimed UI YONG JIANG while staring at the plaque.

When he was still in the Azure continent, he could still perfectly see the light dots of every individual, he said,

while the distance between them in the hologram was not too great. From here alone, UI YONG JIANG was convinced that the distance was very far.

“How far is it?” Void asked as she looked at UI YONG JIANG's reaction.

“I don't think it wise to think about it because it will only make us discouraged.

I remember SIAN LI saying there were multiple teleportation arrays in almost every major city,

that will be our means of transportation here,” explained UI YONG JIANG, to Void. everything he knows.

Twenty minutes later.

The two left the side of the road, heading towards the big city. From their current distance, UI YONG JIANG guessed that the city was about the size of an ICE CITY.

It didn't take long for them to get to the city gate. At the top of the gate, the word Eagle was written boldly on it.

UI YONG JIANG and Void stared at the image of the Eagle at the top of the gate a little longer before heading to the city.

He could see people passing through the gate without being stopped, so it was easy to guess there was no need to pay the entrance fee.

Just as he was about to enter, he was stopped by a young man wearing a guard uniform.

“Show your login permission,” the guard said, extending his hand.

“Izin in?” UI YONG JIANG asked with confusion written all over his face.

The guard nodded with his hands still outstretched.

“But, why did you only come to me when someone else came in without showing anyone this so-called ‘izin enter’?” UI YONG JIANG asked clearly.

Although he was not the type of person who liked to make trouble, it did not mean that he would let others step on him.

He had been watching the people enter all this time and was convinced that no one had shown any permission to the guards.

Seeing the guards harassing UI YONG JIANG, the few people who were at the side stopped to watch the show.

From their expressions, one could tell that this was not the first time this had happened.

Some people did not even bother to watch, walk into the city and continue their usual lives.

‘This idiot, he is obviously trying to extort money from you,’ Void sends his voice to UI YONG JIANG.

‘Yes, unfortunately, I can't do much because I don't know how things are here,’ UI YONG JIANG replied calmly.

‘Does that mean you will pay?’ Void asked, surprised.

‘Of course not, I don't know anything about this place doesn't mean I'm stupid,’ replied UI YONG JIANG.

‘Heh! So what are you planning?’ Void asked.

They had just arrived here, but they were already placed in a difficult situation. Although UI YONG JIANG did not think too much of the young man in front of him, he did not think much of him,

he had no thoughts of fighting him since he was in the Overlord Plane.

Compared to the group he had met, he could sense that this young man was stronger than them.

One other thing that UI YONG JIANG discovered was that most of the people here were on the Origin Plane or the Overlord Plane.

The ones on the Origin Plane were in the minority, with most being in the Overlord Plane.

Fortunately, most of those in the Overlord Plane were around their late twenties or middle-aged.

“Show your login permission or GO,” the guard said.

UI YONG JIANG turned around and left without saying a word, there was no point in talking to the guards.

He knew the guard just wanted to make trouble for him, and he wasn't stupid enough to allow it.

He could easily agree to offer a few essence stones, but it would only create a way for these people to continue blackmailing him.

“So how now?” Void asked.

“You're a Space Elementalist, aren't you?” UI YONG JIANG asked, cynical.

“Oh, we sneak in?” Void said in realization.

UI YONG JIANG smiled before walking to the side of the city wall.

The guard who thought he would be able to bully UI YONG JIANG was dumbfounded as he left without a word.

“Heh! I thought I'd have fun, who knows he's just a scared weakling,” he told himself.

He turned around when he saw the crowd looking at him.

“What do you all see? Continue walking,” he said haughtily.

“Be quiet You Dog,” said someone from the crowd, making the guard's expression turn irritated.

“Who said that?! Get out and face me!” yell that guard.

Seeing his reaction made the audience laugh out loud.
