Ui Yong Jiang stood at the end of the stairs for a moment while thinking whether he should advance further or not.
In fact, after seeing the many skeletons, he began to think twice about going further.
He was curious about what killed them, as well as what place this was. Not just that, though,
there was also a treasure that brought him here from the very beginning. He thought things through properly before deciding to continue heading deeper.
If he didn't check it out, he might lose the chance of a lifetime, there was also the possibility of his life being in danger because of this.
But he knew if he did not dare to take the risk, then there was no way he could stand at the top someday.
But he also knows that rewards are not the only things that come with risk, there are also dangers.
In fact, if one decides to calculate the level of reward and danger that comes with the risk, the,
then, the danger would take up at least sixty-five percent of that ratio.
“Huuu.”
Gasping for air, he walked into the tunnel.
With the flames hovering in front of him, he had no problem with looking, he sometimes made more flames and sent them forward to see what lay ahead.
After walking further down the tunnel, he began to see claw marks on the tunnel walls, deep and large claw marks.
There was one that caught his attention, more than five inches deep and three meters long when most of the others were just over an inch and half a meter long.
Ui Yong Jiang placed his hand on the claw mark, slowly feeling it as he continued to walk further.
He continued his journey vigilantly. If he says he's not nervous, he's lying.
He walked for about twenty minutes before he got to the end of the tunnel,
it usually won't take long to walk here given the distance from the foot of the stairs to the end of the tunnel,
but since he had to stay.be careful, he couldn't rush here.
The first thing he saw upon entering the place was the table, he enlarged the flame so that he could see the place properly.
After making an even bigger fire, he was shocked by the sight he saw.
There are tables, chairs, bookshelves, cages, and some other platforms that have multiple chains.
“It's like a laboratory.” Ui Yong Jiang said after seeing the place.
This was the first time he had personally seen the lab, but he had read and heard about
people who have a place like this that they use mainly to learn things, especially magical beasts.
When he looked around, he estimated that the place was about three hundred meters wide, he said,
and he also noticed there were four doors in that place, two on the left, and two on the right.
The lab was disorganized with books lying on the floor, the tables were not arranged with some being overturned, and the place looked like a battle was going on here.
Ui Yong Jiang picked up the book closest to him, and quickly turned the page,
stop for about three seconds on each page. That's a shocking book about lizards.
He held it in his hand and walked forward, picking up another book in the process. This one, it contains the details of the snake.
Without even realizing it, Ui Yong Jiang had unknowingly spent nearly thirty minutes here,
“It's all about reptiles.” said Ui Yong Jiang.
He didn't really read it in detail, but from pictures and most topics,
he knew it was about reptiles, all kinds of reptiles. What he focused more on was the book about dragons.
In the library at the Lunar Academy, there was no book that really contained much about dragons.
Other than myth, there is no mention of the types of dragons.
But this one, Ui Yong Jiang had seen at least three types of dragons, namely Wyvern, Basilisk, and ordinary Dragons that he had seen in their books.
He kept the books in his storage ring,
but because of the large number, he did not keep everything and only kept what he thought was more important.
After storing the books, he began to study the place once again.
He still hadn't seen anything here, so he didn't hesitate too much now.
He walked towards the platform and picked up an eight-inch-thick metal chain there.
“Could dragons be studied here?” Ui Yong Jiang muttered as he held the chain.
The thought of this place hosting a dragon in the past shocked him to no end,
there were once rumors of dragon sightings reportedly spreading in the Qilin empire, but no one could be sure whether it was true or not.
While thinking about the possibility of the dragon being here in the past, another thought popped into his mind.
‘What if the man who killed all those people, and he's still here?’
He thought and hurriedly looked around with a grim expression appearing on his face.
This thought frightened him, just as it excited him. What is the possibility of seeing a dragon in this place?
‘What if I tame it?’ Ui Yong Jiang thought and a grin involuntarily appeared on his face.
Void looked at him strangely, amazed by the various expressions on his face.
‘Are you okay?’ She asked.
One moment Ui Yong Jiang tensed up, the next, he smiled like a fool.
Void's question made Ui Yong Jiang out of his confused state.
“Hah! Yes, yes.” Ui Yong Jiang nodded before dropping his chain.
Clangs!
The sound of metal chains landing on the ground resounded throughout the lab.
Somewhere deeper inside the lab.
Unbeknownst to Ui Yong Jiang, that metallic sound kept ringing deeper underground to a place he did not know was here, and the closed eyes of the sleeping creature opened.
Growls…
A low growl came out from the creature's mouth.
