THE RISE OF THE DRAGON.

THE RISE OF THE DRAGON.
232. IN THE TIME OF HEALING..

JU LIONG and the three youths outside walked into the tent.

UI YONG JIANG looked at them, he could feel the hostility of the two young men. This made him increase his alertness, though,

he prepared it, waiting to explode with a powerful attack if the two people made any suspicious movements towards him.

“It's nice to see you guys are fine,” comment JU LIONG while walking in.

“Yes, I'm lucky I bumped into you guys, if it's anyone else, even if they don't try to kill me, they’ leave me out there,” UI YONG JIANG said.

“If he doesn't recognize you, there's no way we're helping a stranger who fell from the sky in such a strange way,”

said the young man who was close to JU LIONG while looking at UI YONG JIANG suspiciously.

What he found strange about UI YONG JIANG's appearance was not because he fell from the sky, but how he fell.

He came out from what looked like a crack, a terrifying dark crack. Even if the crack did not last long, they all saw it.

UI YONG JIANG narrowed his eyes, looking at the young man with his lethargic eyes.

The young man who was about to speak again took a step back involuntarily. UI YONG JIANG's gaze frightened him, as if he was staring at the death reaper.

JU LIONG looked at his friend before shaking his head. He could not hide the fact that he was curious about how UI YONG JIANG appeared ,

but asking her as soon as she woke up was not the best option, especially when the two of them showed such hostility. The duo did not even try to hide it.

“So, when did you come to the forest of Magical Beasts?” JU LIONG asked, trying to ease the tension in the tent.

“The next day after we meet,” replied UI YONG JIANG, after a while, he asked, “How long have I been out?”

“Not long, just one night,” replied the young lady in the group.

“Hmm, okay,” UI YONG JIANG nodded before closing his mouth.

He was no longer interested in talking, especially with these two people staring at him like a predator.

It seemed like they were waiting for him to make a small mistake so that they could attack him for a legitimate reason.

“You should rest a little longer,” said JU LIONG before turning around to leave.

His friend followed behind him, as well as the young lady.

The duo who were staring at UI YONG JIANG with hostility were the ones left in the tent, still staring at UI YONG JIANG.

“You look familiar,” one of the two spoke up while staring at UI YONG JIANG.

The robes of UI YONG JIANG were destroyed, and because JU LIONG picked them up quickly when he bumped into them,

they couldn't see his face well, but now that they saw it, they couldn't help but think of it as familiar.

“Ah, really?” UI YONG JIANG asked, compared to his somewhat surprised words, his facial expression and tone remained apathetic as usual.

“Ya, but.. that's not what I'm really worried about,” asked the young man.

UI YONG JIANG looked at him, not even bothering to continue talking to him. He felt that if he answered,

he comforted her to keep talking. If he was silent, then the young man would know when to leave.

The young man looked unperturbed by how UI YONG JIANG stopped talking to him and asked, “From what crack you fell,”

“Hah?” For the first time, a different expression appeared on UI YONG JIANG's face, and it was confusion.

“You fell from a crack that suddenly appeared in the sky. There is no way you can deny it, every one of us saw it,” the young man said.

“A crack?” UI YONG JIANG asked, still putting on the same puzzled temple expression.

Of course he knew what they were talking about, but there was no way he would agree to it.

He would rather argue with both of them than agree to it. If he agreed to this, then the news would definitely spread.

He was already quite in trouble for being hunted down by the emperor, if every big family out there started looking for him, he said,

since he could use an unknown form of movement, he did not know how to respond to it.

“You fell from a crack in the sky!” The young man said, starting to be distracted by the ignorance of the pretended UI YONG JIANG.

He felt UI YONG JIANG knew what he was talking about, but he wanted to make him look stupid.

“How do cracks appear in the sky?” UI YONG JIANG asked.

The question shocked and disturbed the young man at the same time. First of all, the only way they knew cracks could form

in the sky was when an Elementalist's attack was so powerful that even the void would be destroyed by it.

But the problem was, in the current era, there was no case where Elementalists were strong enough to cause a gap in the void.

The young man looked at UI YONG JIANG dumbfounded at not being able to answer UI YONG JIANG's question but was annoyed at knowing what he was seeing.

Just as the young man was about to continue questioning UI YONG JIANG, JU LIONG walked back towards them, staring at them firmly.

“He needs a break,” he said without emotion.

The young man clenched his fists before turning around to leave. His comrade looked at JU LIONG coldly before leaving with him.

“Your group is quite united,” UI YONG JIANG said indifferently before sitting cross-legged.

JU LIONG shrugged at his comment before leaving.

He naturally knew that the two of them did not like JIANG's YONG UI, but he did not think they would immediately start questioning him.

After JU LIONG left, UI YONG JIANG hurriedly checked his storage ring to see if what almost got him killed was safe.

He heaved a sigh of relief as he found her sitting quietly in one corner of his storage ring.

‘This is at least five times the contents of that pendant. Is that enough to cure it?’ He thought to himself when he saw the liquid.

There was only one way to find out, and it gave it to Void.

But since he was still here, he didn't think it was wise to try it given the eyes that were fixed on him.

‘I'll rest for a while then go,’

Two hours later.

UI YONG JIANG stepped out of the tent with a very fresh body.

He did not take out a new robe because the JU LIONG group would be suspicious of how he took out another robe when he did not even carry a bag.

The duo who disliked him was invisible. He doesn't care much about them. Even if they attacked him, then they would only die.

The trio who were sitting turned to look at him as he walked towards them.

“Looks like you're fine now,” said the young lady.

“Yes, almost like new,” UI YONG JIANG nodded before sitting near them.

JU LIONG looked at UI YONG JIANG, dumbfounded.

He knew how UI YONG JIANG was in condition because he was the one who brought him back to the tent, yet only with an overnight break was he fine.

‘The recovery speed is crazy! Could this be a product of a rare treasure?’ He asked himself while staring at UI YONG JIANG.

UI YONG JIANG who felt an intense gaze inevitably looked towards that gaze, he made eye contact with JU LIONG who was still staring at him intensely.

“Eh... What is it?” She asked.

JU LIONG gasped from his confused gaze by shaking his head.

“No, I just remember something,” he replied.

UI YONG JIANG nodded before standing up, “I will leave now, there are things I have to take care of. Thanks for your help,”

“It's okay, I just return the favor from the women's time,” replied JU LIONG.

UI YONG JIANG nodded and left. He did not stay there for long, he was in a hurry to check if Void would wake up after drinking the liquid, so he did not have time to spare for other things.

A few minutes after UI YONG JIANG left.

The duo who were not in the group rushed back.

“Where is he?” One of them asked.

“Go. What's up?” JU LIONG asked as he looked at the expressions of the two.

“Yes, you traitor. You are helping someone from the Lunar Academy, and to think it is a person we all hate,” the young man pointed at JU LIONG while shouting furiously.

“First, not everyone hates it. Second, the next time you put your hand to my face again,

you will lose it,” replied JU LIONG coldly, not trying to hide UI YONG JIANG's identity.

Since both of them had already recognized him, what was the point of trying to hide him? After all, UI YONG JIANG had already left.

If the two were stupid enough to chase after him, then they were only looking for death because UI YONG JIANG would kill them without a second thought.

“Wait, what they say, who is he?” The young man with JU LIONG asked.

“Do you remember the man who caused your brother's death?” One of the other two men asked.

“I did not have time to visit him because I did not participate in the race,” replied the young man.

“Well, that guy is the guy. When I first saw her, I knew she was familiar, but I couldn't think of where I saw her,

and with JU LIONG protecting her, I did not scrape any further. But after we left, I thought about it well, and I remember where I saw it, ”clearly the young man.

The young man who was with JU LIONG and the young miss turned his head towards HER with an angry look.

“Do you know about this?” He asked angrily.

“Ya, but as I said, I was returning the favor,” replied JU LIONG casually.

“A favor?! It was he who made that man kill my brother!” The young man shouted.

“And he made sure you get a tonic that heals you, you better not off off touching him,” JU LIONG said.

“Omong empty! Come, he went here,” the young man shouted at JU LIONG before charging towards UI YONG JIANG away.

The duo glared at JU LIONG before following the young man.

JU LIONG shook his head, not even moving an inch.

The young lady looked at JU LIONG, “Are you not going to stop them?”

“They chose this themselves, if they survive, they will get much needed lessons,” replied JU LIONG.

“And if not?” The young woman asked.

“YAHHH, Let, JU LIONG look up at the sky, as if he was grieving the death of his friend.

If his friend could not let the person who saved his life go because of his anger, then that was his choice.

Even though he accepted it as a friend, he would not support such foolish actions.

He clearly told her about how even she could not bring the tonic because people wanted to take it by force, yet the person who fought against her group and won, was,

The young lady knew how powerful UI YONG JIANG was, so she could not help feeling fear for the outcome of the battle.

“Hopefully, they don't find it,” he said as he looked towards them.

A few kilometers from the JU LIONG campground is located.

UI YONG JIANG did not leave the forest because he wanted to immediately give the liquid to the Void.

He hurriedly found a cave, then entered, closing the entrance of the cave with a wall of earth. He didn't even set up the array.

After entering, he carefully took out the Void from his storage ring. He also took out the liquid.

Slowly opening Void's mouth, he poured the rest of the bottle into his mouth. A calming aura spread from the liquid, calmly UI YONG JIANG's head.

His eyes were filled with hope as he emptied the bottle completely.

“I hope this time works,” murmured.

He waited patiently, hoping to see the reaction from Void.

The explosion!

The earth wall he used to cover the entrance of the cave exploded. He saw three silhouettes charging straight into the cave.

“That's him! Kill him!” The young man who was with JU LIONG shouted as they entered the cave.

UI YONG JIANG, who was still waiting for a reaction from Void looked at the three with angry eyes.
