The area became tense for a few seconds with both sides staring at each other, well, the group won
the contest stared as they had more people, and they all glared angrily at UI YONG JIANG.
If the gaze could kill someone, then UI YONG JIANG would have already died a few times.
“Quite, I will advise you to keep moving,” the old man stepped between the group and UI YONG JIANG before saying.
“That's impossible, we move together or you guys go first,” UI YONG JIANG said.
The old man thought about it for a while before nodding his head, “Alright, we don't have all day,”
“Master!”
The others in the group called out to the old man, giving him a questioning look.
“Don't worry, he's no use. Either he is,
Hearing his question, they could tell that whatever usefulness the UI YONG JIANG had was not something that would benefit him.
What they found even more alarming was when the old man asked UI YONG JIANG,
or one of them. This meant that if UI YONG JIANG did not appear, then one of them would be used as a sacrificial lamb.
They were all staring at UI YONG JIANG with sparkling eyes, as if they were staring at their savior.
At the sight of their gazes, UI YONG JIANG could not help but shudder at the thought of why they were looking at him like that.
He didn't think the old man would agree to her request so easily, this made him feel like maybe he had something planned for him.
If not for the fact that fighting against this group would be a little stressful,
and that he needed them to guide him to whatever they were targeting, he would have already killed them.
With the space element, it was impossible for these people on the Azure continent to fight against it.
Even SIAN LI who was familiar with the space element said it was difficult to fight the Space Elementalist.
His skill switch made him even more overpowering, compared to other Space Elementalists.
‘Anyone who makes that technique must be a true genius. Fortunately, I managed to get it.’ He thinks.
UI YONG JIANG and his group immediately began to walk forward,
he moved nonchalantly so the group couldn't help but wonder if he was okay upstairs.
A normal person would not try to fight against a group of nine, either,
nor would they travel with the same group he wanted to fight against.
They all had the same thoughts when looking at UI YONG JIANG, though,
either he is very confident in his abilities, or he is a psychopath who does not care about his own life.
On the way, they soon came to a new, divided road.
UI YONG JIANG noticed the old man, and he saw him pull something out of his clothes. Within a few seconds, he walked towards one of the streets.
‘Who made this place?’ He asked, a little tired of the long journey.
He did not understand why people set up this death trap if they really wanted people to get what they left behind in the cave.
But he found the first cave he entered better because it didn't take long to get to where the treasure was.
The old man also easily disabled all the traps in front of them.
Inevitably he thought about whether the old man had ever come here before,
or did he get information about this place from whoever made it.
Thinking of this part, UI YONG JIANG could not help but look forward to what might happen.
‘This must be a trap!’ He concluded.
Given the complexity of this place, it was impossible to get through it without the help of the person who made it.
After nearly an hour of movement, they immediately reached the end of the cave.
A piercing coldness radiated to the body of every person who walked to the end of the cave.
Lava flowed through the ground, in the middle of the open space was what looked like a temple, chains and skeletons could be seen all around it.
There is also a red ball hanging in the middle of the temple, giving it a scary but hot feeling.
“Here!” The old man said to the others.
“What is it?” One of the women in the group stepped forward to ask.
“It's something very special, let's continue,”
UI YONG JIANG looked at the ball and inevitably felt very familiar.
The people in the group exchanged glances before jumping into the temple as well.
Since they had already arrived here, what was the point of hesitating.
Just as UI YONG JIANG was about to follow them, he noticed something. A thin red line stretching from the cave walls, moved into the temple.
Looking at him properly, he caught the scent of something he was familiar with, blood.
‘Blood sacrifice?’ She asked.
He looked at the temple and realized the thin line ended under the floating red ball.
‘That's it, that's manic origin!’ He almost lost his footing when he realized what the ball was.
Only an Overlord Plane expert could make origin beads.
What needs to be mentioned is that although some experts decide to abandon beads of their origin when they die, the,
most would rather die with them because they did not want others to benefit from their cultivation years.
If the Elementalist Arcane Plane absorbed this origin bead, then he would definitely break through to the Overlord Plane for no more than a year.
Some people will break through to the Master Plane in three months even.
This bead could be said to be a priceless treasure, however, there was one in front of him.
But UI YONG JIANG was not greedy in trying to steal, but rather sat cross-legged with eyes glued to the temple.
“Parent, what is this?” One of the men in the group stepped forward.
The man had short brown hair, his eyes were filled with bloodlust.
The way he greeted the man had changed completely. He used to call out to her with great respect,
but since he had taken them where they wanted, he was no longer needed.
“Hehe, do you all know about the origin beads?” The old man laughed as he asked.
“What?! Beads of origin?!” The man who stepped forward exclaimed in shock.
He did not think that what the old man brought was origin beads. If he absorbs it, then,
then he will be able to directly break through to Master's Plane. That would put him on top of the world.
“Haha, to think there is a treasure here. Since I am a Fire Elementalist, it is only acceptable that I take it,”
A fiery-looking man stepped forward with a laugh.
“Hmph! You are not the only Fire Elementalist in this group,” Another man stepped forward.
The third person to walk out was the woman who was closer to the old man among the group during the trip.
“You two have no manners, Sir still has not spoken,” he reprimanded the two.
“What's with you? Sir? Who do you call Sir, this old man?” The fiery-looking man asked in a mocking voice.
“As we agreed from the beginning, I have a part in the treasure,” said the old man calmly.
“What? You want to take part in this? You're already on the verge of death, why don't I help you?” The fiery-looking man asked as he licked his lips.
The others in the group laughed out loud when they heard this. If not for the old man, they would have killed him in the first place.
But hearing there was a huge treasure in the cave from the man, they decided to cooperate with him.
They never expected him to truly trust them when they agreed that he would get a share of the treasure.
“Original manic can be absorbed by anyone, regardless of its basic elements.
Although, it will be more suitable for those who have the same elements with the bead.” Said the old man.
“We all know that,” said the first man who spoke while walking towards the old man with a grin.
“You know, this bead needs more blood and will eventually reach the level needed to advance,”
“Blood? What do you mean old man?” The man stopped.
“Yes, remember when I said the person was needed for something?” The old man asked.
The man nodded.
“This is the point. All we need to do is sacrifice him, and the bead will reach its peak!” The old man said solemnly.
The others looked at the beads, then at the old man, before gazing at the entrance of the cave.
“Hah? Where did he go?” Someone asked when they did not see UI YONG JIANG there, or at the temple.
“He must have escaped, no problem, he will die in the end,” said the old man coldly.
“Since he left, how now?” The man asked.
“Sacrifice must continue. Also, just in case you think of sacrificing me, I need to arrange that sacrifice,” the old man said with a smile.
He made sure he would be useful to the end, there was no way these people could get rid of him.
The man stopped, and could not help but look at the others.
The eight individuals suddenly retreated against each other because they did not know who was going to attack them from behind.
“No need for you guys to be this big, we already have the perfect sacrifice,” the man said before turning to the woman close to the old man.
The woman took a step back in fear, just as she took a step back, her pupils shrank.
He looked down and an old-looking hand was seen holding a still-beating heart. The hand pierced through his chest, which was covered in blood.
Blood slowly began to flow from his wound, as well as his mouth.
The old man standing behind him pulled his hand and the woman's body fell to the ground with ‘beyi’. His blood moved towards the beads.
The group looked at the old man with a strange expression, not expecting him to betray the woman so soon.
The beads suddenly began to spin even faster as it greedily absorbed the woman's blood.
Within seconds, the woman's corpse was completely dried up.
The others stared at the bead, a little horrified by it.
“Is the origin bead supposed to absorb blood?” The fiery-looking man could not help but ask.
“Hehe, of course not. But you know, I found this technique that will help me move forward.
All I need to do is feed my origin beads as much blood as I can, hehehe,”
the old man laughed as he spoke, a different look appeared on his face.
His current expression was of a predator gazing at his helpless prey.
“Manik of your origin?” The brown-haired man asked.
“Yes. You know, these are all complicated plans to bring you all here. Although blood can be obtained from the tunnel, the,
it will be more beneficial when people are closer to the bead.
The reason I chose your group among others is because you guys are stronger,” replied the old man.
His previous attitude slowly turned into an intimidating person.
None of the people here could connect the old man now with the person who led them here.
“I still don't understand,” said the fiery man. He could feel the pressure from the old man that frightened him.
“Do not worry, you will do it soon,” the old man chuckles.
The explosion!
The fiery-looking man immediately attacked.
