BIRTHDAY PRESENT

Wynetta De Angelis, I met her ten years ago. That woman came to my birthday party with a pale-skinned girl my age. I just remembered that the girl was Olivia. But I don't understand what happened after that, which I know after my birthday, Arthur went to the hospital, that's all I know from my parents' stories.

Arthur, who was only nineteen at the time, was less severely injured and returned the next day. What exactly is going on? Why did the woman named Wynetta die? Olivia's? Yeah, looks like I can find out by asking the girl.

Suddenly I heard the sound of the door opening, I immediately came out of the room and saw that Vernon had entered the room while opening the shirt he was wearing.

"What are you doing there?" Vernon asked a glance at my appearance from his clothing room.

"I have to put my clothes in that room too." I answered still standing in the doorway between the room and the clothing room.

"Suggest the waiter tidy it up. You don't have to do it." Vernon walked into the bathroom.

I immediately walked out of the room because I didn't want to be in the room with Vernon. As much as possible I will continue to avoid it, but I don't know when I can avoid it.

My steps came to a halt as I entered the veranda and saw the scenery that was out there. I am currently on the fifth floor, the top floor of this house.

The afternoon feels so cool now. I haven't enjoyed my alone time in a long time. Usually during free time like this Sesya will come to my house and disturb my Sunday. She'll be home after one of her lovers picks her up.

"What are you doing now?" I asked who finally called Sesya back.

Sesya did not immediately reply, sounding her sigh at this time and making me know what things she was doing right now.

"Sorry baby, let me answer my best friend first." It was heard Sesya talking to someone who I believe is one of her lovers. "You're just bothering me, Viv."

"You don't have to answer it if it bothers you. You just want to show off because you're making love, right? Hah, you are, what a great thing it is to fuck a lot of men. You naughty girl." I was annoyed at my famous best friend who often changed lovers.

"I wouldn't be upset with a virgin like you." Answer Sesya. "Wait a minute, Viv. How was your first night with your husband? Have you guys done it?"

"Here you go, Viv, you're married to Vernon, it's okay to do it with him even if you don't like him. After doing it with him you might like him. That's what I often feel for my girlfriends." Sesya sounded very crisp.

"You're really disgusting, Ses. I'll just do it with Alec." My speech. "At least the first one with Alec."

"You still hope for him. He doesn't like you if he likes you long ago he told you. He even looks ordinary when you get married. You're just overconfident by saying he likes you too." Sesya's words sounded painful even though she had told me many times. "Vernon's not bad either, he's very handsome and looks very masculine, I'm so curious how it feels to make love to a guy like him. Is he gonna be better than Arthur?"

I took my breath because I knew that my brother Arthur was the first man to have sex with Sesya. It was one day before Arthur's engagement to Renata. Someone who admired Arthur wanted to make love to him as a first experience for him. It happened about seven years ago. I did not know about the plan until the next day when the engagement took place Sesya who was my best friend since high school told me.

"I want to feel once again with Arthur." Whisper Sesya because her lover just came out of the bathroom.

Hearing him I could only take a deep breath. It sounded so disgusting to me that I didn't want to imagine Arthur having sex with Sesya.

"Alright, Viv, I want to continue what was delayed earlier. You better think again about doing it with Vernon. I think you're gonna get hooked."

"Based on a disgusting girl." I muttered while hanging up the phone.

"You're back?" I asked with a little fear if Alec heard my words earlier with Sesya. "When did you come back?"

"We're back together with Vernon." Alec replied with a smile. "Oh yeah, it's a birthday present for you."

Alec gave me a red box and I opened it. A diamond necklace with an initial pendant my name is V.

"It's so beautiful, Alec. Thanks." I kissed Alec on the cheek. "I'll wear it."

"No, don't wear it now." Alec smiled as he held my left palm, it made me surprised.

"What are you two doing here?" Vernon asked who was inside looking at the two of us on the veranda.

Alec pulled his hand from the one holding my hand quickly.

"Hurry in, we'll have dinner soon." Vernon walked.

Before turning around Alec smiled at me again. Seeing him makes me even more sure that he loves me. I immediately followed the two of them towards the dining table while placing Alec's necklace box into the pocket of my pants.

Olivia smiling at me made me think of the girl ten years ago who was at my birthday party. But my mind was distracted when I saw the necklace Olivia was wearing. Although not the same, but the necklace looks very similar to the necklace Alec gave me. Coupled with the initial pendant but not the initials of the girl's name but the letter A.

I looked at Alec who was sitting next to Olivia and seemed to be talking to her. He looks very friendly to the girl. What the hell does this mean? Why is Olivia wearing a necklace with the initials A? What is the initials of Alec's name?

I wanted to ask Alec directly, but I didn't have a chance until Alec left the house. Continuing to think about what was troubling my mind, I walked towards the room.

Vernon came when I was about to open the door of the room, he immediately pushed me in and locked the room. I was surprised not to think that he would be in the room this fast.

"Why do you seem to think of something? What are you thinking?" Ask Vernon.

"I don't think we're that close to telling you what I think of you." I answered while thinking about how I would avoid it tonight.

Vernon laughed at my answer and then he unexpectedly grabbed me and kissed me on the lips. She held my head so I couldn't let go of her kiss. I tried to push him with all my might as Vernon's kiss grew more excited.

"Don't kiss me forcibly!!" I was annoyed after I managed to get off her lips.

Vernon just looked at me with a grin. I can guess what will happen after this. I glanced to the right and to the left a moment ago after that ran into the clothes room before Vernon managed to catch me. I locked it from the inside.

I breathed a sigh of relief with a slight laugh as I managed to figure out how to avoid Vernon tonight. Yeah, I'll just sleep in this room tonight.

"Get out stupid, you don't have to sleep there." Vernon exclaimed, but I did not touch him. "Well, if you want to sleep there."

"From tomorrow I'll just sleep here." I said to myself.

I took out Alec's necklace box and opened it. The necklace I gave Alec took from the box and I realized that this locket was not a V but A. I thought for a moment, so that's why he didn't want me to wear it straight away? Does that mean Alec really loves me? But what about Olivia's necklace? What the hell does this mean?
