THE PUNISHMENT IS EQUAL

The day before night when I got out of the car with Renata. I finally decided to go back to Vernon's house, my husband. Gloriana who welcomed my presence after getting off the car smiled at me.

"Mr is in the back garden, madam. Do I need to call you?" Ask Gloriana.

"I'll be there." I immediately turned to look at Renata who was standing behind me.

We both walked to the back garden. The distance is quite far because the area of this house exceeds 5000 square meters. Moreover, Vernon is currently in the garden behind the house, where he put his pet there.

"You shouldn't have to meet her there Viv, you can get the waiter to call Vernon to the room." Said Renata walking beside me. "Your pregnancy is very young, and the gunshot wound is still not fully healed. I'm afraid—"

"Calm down, Ren. I've got the best doctor to take care of me after this." Cut me down to put a smile on Renata. Out of all my family it seems like only Renata is happy with my current pregnancy. "You don't have to worry too much."

"Viv, I'm glad you finally decided to be with Vern." Renata flashed a beautiful smile on her very pretty face. Both of her dimples look to make herself even more attractive. "May you be like this not just because of your pregnancy."

What Renata said made me understand because just like her, I felt what I felt just because of the influence of my current pregnancy. But I also do not want to reject his words by hoping for what has not happened. I could change my mind again after giving birth. I feel like I don't love Vernon, I just need him right now.

My steps stopped when I entered the back garden of the house where there were three large cages filled with Vernon pets each. Wild animal.

Vernon was putting a chain on his pet, a white lion or simba. The cage is between two other cages filled with black tigers and panthers.

The white lion that Vernon had put on the chain removed him from the cage, and immediately roared at my presence, making Vernon aware of my presence. For a moment Vernon looked at me who was standing at a distance of about five meters from him as well as his pet. With a cue from Vernon, Simba stood still and sat looking at me.

"It's a good thing Art doesn't like any animals." Renata muttered that initially frightened at the simba who roared very loudly earlier. "Vern, put him in the cage."

"He won't bite you much less eat you, he's very picky when it comes to food." Vernon replied, laughing a little at Renata. "I'll take them back to Oslo as well tomorrow, hopefully they can survive the cold weather there."

"Vern, put him in the cage." My love was staring at Vernon.

Without a word Vernon obeyed my orders and immediately put the white lion into his cage. After that, he turned around and looked at me.

"Why did you come back? I thought you'd move out and live in your house again." Vernon. "Did you change your mind? Did you finally decide to come with me, Viv?"

From his face I could see that Vernon looked quite happy by looking at me who was standing in front of him right now. It must be because he thought that I would agree to go with him, but from the beginning I never had any intention of leaving my country.

"You're wrong Vern. I told you I don't want to come with you to your country. I'm not leaving Italy." I answered with complete confidence. "You're the one who's gonna stay here with me."

For a moment Vernon was stunned because of what I said. I allowed myself to digest all my words by not saying anything more. His face looked confused but I could feel a sense of happiness when I saw the corner of his lips that were smiling thinly with a fixed look at me.

"Arthur gave Genoa to you, Vern." Said Renata representing myself telling the news. "Come tomorrow to see him, he'll pull all La Nostra's business from there, and you can take over. Genoa belongs to Camorra."

"All?" Look at Vernon wonder at Renata.

"I mean 80 percent is yours and the rest is Vivian's." Answer Renata.

Vernon looked at me with a look of wonder. I didn't react with her gaze at all and I didn't want to say anything to her either. I just stood there silently trying to hold my smile because everything was going the way I wanted.

From the very beginning I had intended to ask Genoa for Arthur because I did not want to leave my country nor did I want to separate from Vernon. That's the only way I can get both of those things. And again, I'm pretty sure that Arthur will give me everything I want. Yes, I am his beloved sister.

"All right, I'm going home now. Don't forget tomorrow come see Art, Vern." Renata Seru. "Viv, I'll go home first. Rest, you're walking too much today."

I smiled a smile at Renata. Now that I understand what Renata said yesterday, he told me in advance about Uncle Vernon's anger. He must have told me to do something.

Vernon kept looking at me waiting for me to say something after Renata's departure.

"I'll leave you when something bad happens to you." I repeated my words at that time.

"You're right, when bad things happen to you, they happen to my life." My words revealed a smile. "At least until I give birth to your child."

"Yes, you're right." Vernon developed his smile at me. "But honestly I'd rather go back to my home country. Unfortunately, I can't go back there now..."

Vernon stopped his words and walked over to me. Unexpectedly he lifted me up in his arms and walked into the house, about to take me to my room.

"You shouldn't walk and not get out of bed." Vernon said as he carried me.

I just stared at him by wrapping both my hands around his neck. I felt happy when I saw Vernon smiling at me.

"You know what I'm gonna do to you now?" Vernon asked looking down at me.

"What are you gonna do to me?"

"I'll punish you." Vernon replied with a cold turned look. "You're playing me by not telling me everything, you don't even want to come with me. You're pissing me off right now. I have to punish you."

"punish me? What can you do to me? In my current condition you can't do anything to me. You want to punish me how?" I let out a small laugh when I saw her skeptical smile. "Well, you can punish me while I can't do anything like that."

"That's sure. I'll give you the punishment you deserve." Vernon answered, who lowered me to bed and straightened my lips with his lips.
