Chapter 58: A Hell

The next morning while about to leave town the Elric group stalled due to a debate between the shop owner and a girl who seemed to be an adventurer.

Because the city forbade the debate of all the girl's luggage to belong to the shopkeeper while she was taken away.

Witches are considered vile creatures but what Elric sees is even worse than imagined.

The girl was not taken to jail but to a narrow alley, as the two men carrying her were about to do the strange thing of a dagger slashing their throats, tore the wet meat apart until both of them lost their lives in an instant.

Anita helps the little girl while Elric stares around the dead body before his eyes, all of them left completely covered in his clothes.

They are all women.

Elric punched the wall with blood dripping to the ground.

"What are we going to do now Elric?"

"They're so barbaric, I'll kill them all."

"You're serious?"

Anita was obviously surprised by the words, Elric had experienced several deaths so she knew what death itself felt like.

Even when he came back to life his hands never stopped trembling so he was the one who knew better how precious those lives were

"Well, I don't want anyone else to be a victim here."

"If it's your decision I don't forbid it, what about you goddess?"

"I don't want to say anything."

By nightfall Anita broke into the prison and then took the people who were locked out of it, their whole bodies had dried up and some of the dead were left abandoned.

"I'll take you away, who's still standing and walking let's follow me, and who can't I'll take you guys."

"Thank you."

Helped by the girl Anita saved, everyone was taken out, they lay in the grass while looking up at the dark sky above them.

"Miss why don't we just go?" asked a grandfather and Anita replied in a worried voice.

"Walking at night is very dangerous especially if you also have to replenish your strength."

"What if they're after us?"

Anita only shook her head as she glanced towards the city that had turned into a terrible thing, accompanied by the ear-splitting screams of people falling down with sharp wounds that pierced all of them.

He is Elric.

For the sake of saving countless people he had soiled his own hands, this country had been destroyed from the very beginning. Killing people for their benefit, officials who are corrupt and they do not hesitate to take the honor of women.

One of the men carrying an axe ran from behind Elric, with a swing as fast as he did Elric's head was severed several meters away.

The roll crashed into the wall of the building before it came to a halt.

Everyone who saw his body fall laughed out loud.

Moments later their laughter disappeared in an instant, along with the explosion that kept echoing in the air Elric's head returned to its position automatically and the blood from it returned to his body.

Elric used his spirit ability and in an instant the bodies of those running were cut into pieces.

He found the king of this country about to escape by carrying a horse carriage filled with gold coins.

Elric did not hesitate to hurt him until he ran around holding his shoulders dripping with blood.

Elric did not kill children and women, they were only given a warning even so they would never return to this city again.

Whether it's decades or hundreds of years or even forever.

The king who lost his blood was just leaning against the wall with breathless breath.

All this trouble because this country has this king-like trash.

"Please stop...if you want my money, I'll pay it, 1 million gold coins? 2 Million gold coins?"

Elric said in a cold voice.

A knife pierced the king's head until he collapsed to the side. After that Elric just shouted in a voice that could be heartbreaking.

The world he lived in now was not a world that was friendly to everyone, this world was nothing more than a hell.
