Chapter 50: A Purpose

After saying goodbye to the village chief Elric group went to a city where the nobleman was located.

The city is so big with tower-like pillars placed everywhere, the residents look happy but unbeknownst to them that the person they admire has hired a witch to destroy the innocent village.

Looking at him, Elric could only bite the tip of his lips in a feeling of anger. Just as they reached the mansion, a servant let in.

Anita momentarily stopped in front of the door as she felt a strange energy but she immediately shut it to look further.

They were taken to a workroom where there stood a man with gray hair and beard.

He unceremoniously prepared his servant to leave and said.

"Where's the stuff?"

Elric reached into his pocket to show the ring.

"I'll give it to him after answering a few things first?"

"Do you want to know why I want it and also hire witches?"

Elric nodded in agreement, Witch however is a terrible creature obsessed with killing, if nobles do so far without thinking about his good name will be smeared, there must be something much more important than that.

Elric opened his mouth.
