Chapter 32: Inside the Old House

Elric and Anita entered the mansion at full speed, several witches blocked them including the woman who had brought Mina here before, the woman happily swung her whip to wrap around Anita's wrist.

"I'm fine, quickly save Mina," with that slight push, Elric climbed the stairs leaving Anita behind, leaving her behind, he forcefully opened all the doors he passed to inspect them one by one until finally in one of the rooms he found Mina bound by chains all over her.

The man in front of him casually welcomed the arrival of Elric, the man had a beard and grayed hair.

"I thought you were coming here, she's our stuff, the Origin witch sect, it's only natural you didn't take it from us."

"He's human, not an item" Elric said coldly as the man held a happy smile.

"What if you see the true form of this girl?"

The man took an injection that he stuck in Mina's unconscious arm until Mina's body reacted, her body began to blacken then Mina opened her mouth with red eyes, she cried out in pain.

"What are you doing?" Elric directly aimed at the tip of his rifle.

"I'm just extracting real power, we've extracted blood from monsters and injected it into every girl we've kidnapped, some people who don't fit their bodies to explode but look at this kid, this boy is able to survive, he receives everything we inject on him without dying. Instead of being great, with this he will be a great tool for us."

"Don't joke, you take lives and make someone lose their human nature, I really won't forgive you."

"What can you do."

Elric fired his rifle and it produced an explosive sound into the air right on the man's shoulder.

"What weapon are you using?"

"This is the weapon used to kill witches, with this your era will come to an end."

"What can you do?"

Just by pulling the trigger once, a bullet lodged in the old man's head, his body slammed backwards and then fell onto the lifeless floor. Leisurely Elric walked over the corpse and stood in front of Mina whose form was increasingly changing to resemble a monster.

Elric without hesitation hugged her.

"Everything's fine, calm down."

Mina bit Elric's shoulder until blood dripped from there, instead of giving up Elric further tightened his embrace.

Mariella and Anita who were previously at the bottom also emerged from the open door, both of whom had managed to defeat the enemies they faced.

The woman with the whip was restrained on the wall after Anita hit her face with her fists, while Piro lost her head to Mariella.

"Aaaaaaaargh.."

Mina's cry grew stronger until in the end, whether it was Anita or Mariella both approached to hug Mina's body together.

Slowly Mina's consciousness began to surface, her red eyes began to return to normal at the same time her body returned to normal.

"All of you."

Elric smiled in return and said.

"Let's go home, everyone's waiting for you."

"...Thank you for saving me," said Mina in tears.
